Wow! The Math explained by Mr Arun sir is tremendous at around 8:48. Cutting down the off-side scoring opportunities for Steve Smith would lead to him scoring at a lower S/R. This would require him to play a larger number of deliveries for the same score. This would lead to a greater probability of error! Amazing stuff!
Even though this entire kutty series very refreshing n funny, I sometime feel Ashwin is giving away too many minute details on the team strategy. These details will really help opponents when they play against us next time.

@@SV-wu2my Agree, every game needs a new strategy. If someone like Steve Smith watches this video, it gives him a chances to think n correct his only few weakness and potentially can cause trouble to other teams. At that stage we may need another new move/plan. Happy that test cricket is getting lot of attention.
After all this Kutti stories, I feel that I've learned so much of this beautiful language, Tamil. If India keeps on pulling these miracles or Ash keep making these great insightful videos; I might become proficient. Thanks

At first I thought 52 mins is too much. But it was so much fun that I watched it completely. Ash man you are producing gold content, wasn't a fan earlier but now big fan, for bringing us closer to the victory and making us part of it.

I truly think that the Indian cricket fraternity must come together and applaud Coach Ravi Shastri sir. I have heard so much rubbish spoken about him on social media but it is very heartening to hear so much about the value he brings to the team. Also notice how Ash is making sure that the topics of discussion are not only about players but to a great extent highlight the role of support staff.

I dont know if people realised how good a mentor and coach Bharat Arun is but this interview gave an absolute peach of an insight to everyone about him. Outstanding personality, the clarity in his thoughts and the support that he must provide to the Indian Bowling group. Lots of credit must go to him for the way the bowlers went about their business. Cant say enough.
Also i notice a similarity in the playing group, you have Virat and Jinx, polar opposite personalities working well together and you have the star couple, Ravi bhai and Bharat Paaji who too seem opposites but rounding off each others skill sets. Absolute baller of an episode Ash!! Loved it, good luck to you for the england series.

Ashwin is breaking the language barrier which quiet a bit disconnected north and south indians to a bit of extent.hope he continues to bring in the same energy everytime he comes to host a show as superb as this.And shows like this and series like these make India stronger as a nation. One great thing about Ash, when he speaks during interviews, I could feel the experience of 375 wickets and 2000 test runs. Here, I feel like he is my childhood friend. Love him always.
If there was one thing as exciting as the Border Gavaskar series, it is this Kutty Story series. Chance'e illae Ash, chumma kallakiteenga or in Gounder's words adrasakka adrasakka. It's like watching one of those Jackie Chan's end-of-movie bloopers scenes.. very insightful, entertaining, funny but more than anything else, shows the camaraderie and atmosphere amongst this whole team. Also, a huge thanks for bringing on 'Baaji' and 'R.Sridhar' and, 'Vikram R', the superstars who worked just as hard as you the players but don't usually get the public appreciation that they deserve.. Last, but, not the least, we need one final episode with the man, the myth, the legend - Mr. Tracer Bullet himself.. All the very best for the England series.. Pretty sure Joe Root must be watching this and telling his team, 'dei note pannunga da.. note pannunga da.. pinraanga da pinraanga da'.. 😂

This whole series and the kutti story sequence has changed my whole perspective about Indian cricket and how it works.... So much talk outside about politics and how some players get into teams and how someone bosses over whole team and all sorts of nonsense.... This has changed how I will watch Indian cricket from now on.... Shows that everyone is equally human and genuine in their actions, sometimes it comes off sometimes it doesn't..... I was studying 6th standard at ramakrishna school Salem. School known everyone those time for honing cricket skills. In Salem stadium there was cricket match between TN and karnataka....school gave us 5 days holiday to watch this match...me and my 2 brothers had opportunity to watch krish and paaji in action...
I am not sure whether you remember Paaji Arun's first delivery in test cricket. He fell down while bowling his first ball in Test. :)

I am from Chennai and grown up on a steady diet of cricket from the 83 world cup. We were always told to study as there was not much future in cricket. Now its amazing to see this youngsters excel in every form of cricket. @Ashwin, loved every conversation with coaches and your own batting. I live in US and every ball you batted with Vihari and Rishab pant innings in last test kept us up till 2.30 am and sleep through office meetings next day. Loved it and Kudos to you and Indian team. This is outstanding - each episode in this series gets better than the previous one. It would be great in any language, but the fact that it is in Tamil makes it extra special. This was a very special series in Australia, and reliving it through this makes it even more special!
