It is the same for everyone. Everyone is fluent in his/her mother tongue. One can't be that expressive in 2nd or 3rd language.

Shastri is hated because of the Anil Kumble fiasco - but if you go by the team's performance in tests under him, he has been awesome. And Shastri is more than just a coach - he will defend the Indian players from any rubbish, he did that as commentator too when Indians were targetted unfairly and he does that as coach too. And amidst all the jokes about booze and being Virat's puppet, we keep forgetting that Shastri has 11 international test centuries (7 scored overseas) and 150 test wickets. and he played his last match at age 30. He deserves some respect!

Shastri did good as the coach of India during his stint but he will always be remembered for a lot of “what if” moments.
His biggest triumph was this Border Gavaskar trophy in Australia with India’s C team.
But his decisions as the coach cost us the test series victory in South Africa, in England, and the 2019 World Cup.
We are lucky to Have a modern day legend letting us know stuff like this in such a casual manner.

Ash has always been a great story teller.. I love watching his interviews cos he always tells these anecdotes... Better storyteller than an interviewer (imho) and that's why this format works beautifully for him
Hit the proverbial nail on the head. He is OK as a formal interviewer. But this casual chat with Shridhar was vera level, where both of them weaved a beautiful story. Shridhar also has a beautiful way of narrating a story.

That's true, as an Indian Telugu, I can proudly say the script if Tamil is very easy to learn. The alphabet is pretty simple, straight forward and is not complicated at all.

Ashwin & Sri, you guys have single handedly done more for Ravi Shastri's profile than anyone else. I've always admired Ravi for his tactical nous and feel for the game, but these 2 videos have shown his personal side as well. Getting families to Australia in this environment is no mean feat. Brilliant 2 episodes mate, if I have one complaint it is that they are only 20 or so minutes long ! You just want them to go on and on... Can you make sure you continue this with the England series and beyond ? Better than anything else I've seen in recent memory
