Gaurav is good, but the value Grade cricketer can bring to Indian entertainment is unparalleled. That is because Indian Influencers like Gaurav will still suck the last drop out of Bollywood nepotistic balls. Gaurav kapoor is the best cricket presenter in india, he's everything jatin sapru dreams to be!! Still remember the way he handled 2007 t20 world cup pre/post shows and made them entertaining, and the the og ipl extra innings that every 2000 kid remembers, it wasn't boring as the one you see now a days on starsports, it was so much fun watch ipl back then because of him and the team!! ❤❤

Long ago when Gaurav used to be part of the Channel V, India’s answer to MTV in the 90s and our office was in same building as one of their studios in Blore.. so we happened to bump into many VJs but this very tall, lanky, charming kid in the elevator always stood out for this obvious height & charm. Nice to see his growth and now one of the best sports anchors in International media. Just a quick nostalgia seeing GK here on TGC. 😊

I don't know but Gaurav's commentary on odi cricket between 11-40 overs where players don't "push" just shows how much he actually watches this format. I think these guys more than anything would kill the format by this frivolous commentary.

GK! Man you killed the whole vibe by downplaying the hype around the world cup...I for one believe that an ODI World Cup match is not just an ODI match, it has much more to it. I truly believe this will be a very exciting world cup and the format is here to stay thanks to these big tournaments every now and then. Jobless or not, nothing can match up to the World Cup and I am sure a lot of people will be tuning in. I love GK but have a strong disagreement with the way he started ! Cheers!
its from a world's perspective. the hype for the world cup is only true for the subcontinent. the number or rate of growth for new followers of cricket has fallen tremendously in both england and Australia, considering that these two are the biggest cricketing nation in terms of revenue after India, the situation is rather concerning. GK is right, ODIs and test cant be spread to more affluent countries of the west. T20 is the format which has got realistic chances of spreading,

It is crazy to think that ODI's is dying, It is one of the craziest format where both aspect of the games were tested, like 2Ps i used to say, Power and Patience. But with evolution of TTs and Test Matches. It is sad to tbh.
