Michal, be open to the knowledge that Caleb shares. ;D
I appreciate the difficulty being customizable. I'm gonna give this a shot this time around. OUCH, MY BACKlog.
Yeah, that's interesting that Caleb was close enough to the line of saying "yes" to Sea that the differences in Skies were enough to push him over the edge. I did like the world of Sunless Sea, myself, and I think the oppressive, cynical gameplay was a double-edged sword. It REALLY contributed to the horrifying style and tone, and that actually drew me in. But the relative accessibility of Sunless Skies, along with the lightening of the tone and colour palette of the world, made it even better.
This game is like Frost punk.
Excited to try this game out! I'm new to the Sunless series so I hope I won't miss out on too much story from the first game. Yes I love reading text in games 😄
Voice acting would make the difference, but I guess that would have blown their budget.
I found the first too confusing, rather than hard. I suppose I didn't feel invested in the world or people. Whilst this might be easier to play, I think that the same will be true. So its a No from me.
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great review, as always! I wonder how well a screen-reader software would do with making this game more accessible to non-native English speakers, those with reading difficulties, etc. I personally have both ADHD and some level of autism, and have always struggled to not get stuck re-reading the same portions of text in certain contexts, especially when they're just in a compressed, dense block, like the codices in Dragon Age, which I was always really intrigued by but couldn't be bothered to actually focus my brain on unless I'd had some adaptive add-on to read the text aloud (is that the right word? I'm having all kinds of dysnomia lately.). On another personal note, once I really discovered how awesome audiobooks (free from various libraries and online) could be, listening in one ear while doing menial physical tasks that kept my body stimulated and undistracted, I started being able to blaze through one or two fairly dense nonfiction books a week since 2020, ending up with about 100 books per year that I'm getting to both catch up on (from the 16 years as a student that I missed out on what was in my assigned texts, and instead used my smarts to bullsh$t my way through classes without doing the readings ~70% of the time) and stay up on the latest ideas and stories. And not "stories" in the IG and FB sense. This doesn't make me any more inherently valuable as a human than anyone *not* reading books, but I highly recommend trying it, especially if you might be neurodivergent and this sounds familiar.
I LOOOOVE Sunless Sea, always meant to play this, totally forgot, soon it'll be free. ADHD win!
*It's 2 weeks later and I forgot to claim it
It's free now.on epic

@@nino4575 You are a star lol
I tried to play it but I was so confused after playing half an hour so i just gave up on this one.
Honestly it feels like a road to nowhere most of the time but it’s a great game to decompress after a long day
Interesting visuals but i don't think i'll enjoy that much. I'll give it a try.
I wish this game had a text to speech option. I don’t like reading large walls of text especially if it’s fancy English and small text on the screen becomes so tiring to my eyes.
its free on epic rn
Fk me I missed it fking RUclips pushed every other notification except this one

2:30 It's not... WHAT generated?? Well, I guess I shouldn't care since it's not that, it's randomized.
nice

Theme yes, gameplay not really, except the hard choices, thats in common!
When to expect AAA games?
Steam will give big games and sale on 15th August as independence day in india
Probably for Christmas
We dont have exact date, it can be week, it can be 8 weeks. But no matter when, if you have notifications oj on our channel, we let you know 😉
Epic only has cool indie games, bad games, or games with upcoming sequels
@@TeamBobbo6326 That's just crazy talk. They have given away some bangers including GTA V in the past. This year alone they gave some awesome AAA stuff like Dragon Age Inquisition, Marvel's Midnight Suns, Deus Ex Mankind Divided and Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy!
@@TeamBobbo6326 Steam barely has any free giveaways like Epic. Just good sales. I like Steam for the forums though.
Y y'all never covered 3 month free Game Pass?
Not free for us, so we could not
what pass was that?
a little too hardcore for me
Pass, 90 seconds in and I'm already bored. Come on Fortnite, update already!
