1000 percent. I thought it was like EA Shit and played always Sekiro instead but damn i played it now like 4 weeks and its so addictive and a Masterpiece.
RDR2 is hands down the best game I've ever played, some days I just float around and hunt, doing random challenges or go for a spot of fishing. It's truly a stunning game.
Not for me. Felt too stiff and boring on PS5. I asked for refund when I lost some saves cause of game bugs. I switched it for Cyberpunk and Witcher3 and I was happy
bruh who still games on a PS5 ? u people cannot play all games thats the first issue , second is that PC can do literally everything , better investment of money , better graphics , better fps , better quality.
The funny thing is how 6 years later there is still nothing that compares to it. RDR2 has some issues in how the gameplay is a bit repetitive and how missions have to be done in an incredibly rigid way, but Rockstar games have always been like that. I hope GTA6 (and RDR3 if we get one) have more of a Hitman 3 type approach where you can accomplish missions any way you choose to... But yeah RDR2 is still as impressive as the day it came out. I just replayed it for the first time in a few years.
Yes! Max Payne really set the bar for a FPS game with a real story for years - maybe even decades. I can still hear the voices and remember some of the situation. "The truth was like a green crack through my brain. Weapon statistics floating in the air, glimpsed out of the corner of my eye. the repetitious act of shooting, time slowing down to show off my moves. The paranoid feeling of someone controlling my every step. I was in a computer game. Funny as Hell, it was the most horrible thing I could think of."
Honestly it's been years since I played Max Payne and I don't think it help time that well, Max Payne 3 was a very good game actually. If you want to go even further in time you can mention Knights of the Old Republic, if that is not a must played experience I don't know what is.
Horizon Zero Dawn was a whole new level of story telling for me. I like to play games but it usually takes me a year to casually finish one. Horizon was so good I couldn’t stop playing and finished it in a few weeks with over 90 hours of gameplay logged.
@@Lars-no9nf I pre-ordered that game and I still haven’t finished it ngl. Nothing wrong with the game I just got busy! While I find the story enrapturing it just doesn’t have that mystery factor that Zero Dawn had for me. Forbidden West feels more like a survival story line rather than self discovery, and that’s what made me really fall in love with Zero Dawn.
@@kellishjelly I get what you mean. I really liked the gameplay mechanics and graphics. Storywise could be better. Zero Dawn really was revolutional!! Specially because im Dutch I like the games even more
Man... mass effect is just so good. I finished this game 4 months ago but i still can't forget this story, those characters, no game has ever evoked such emotions in me... truly masterpiece
I was trying to find any trilogy that comes even remotely close to Mass Effect, I found nothing. It holds a special place in my heart. I finished at least 75% of the 1000 best games ever, and Mass Effect is definitely in my top 5.
@@oliverqueen5635 my top 5 isn't objective tho, but I'd say Final Fantasy X, Legend of Dragoon, Mass Effect trilogy (fk andromeda), any Zelda (Ocarina of time, Link to the past, Windwaker and Botw are my personnal best, Link's Awakening and Minish Cap are also great). Metal Gear saga. GTA 4 is also up there (make it a top6) Those are all 10/10 for me AND they speak to me. There are a lot of other games that I really love, some are very good games, some gave me really great memories.
Dead Space 2 does it all. Gameplay, graphics, story, setting, characters, sound. Most expensive game development of its time. No microtransactions; all access. (Edit: Comments about the first Dead Space game being better are misplaced, as this video isn’t a retrospective of the series. You may as well comment every other game you like more than it, as that makes as much sense as to which games are, or are not, masterpieces)
I'm playing Dead Space 2 right now and it's blast! This game doesn't need a remake... at least for PC. I'm playing at 2k 100 fps and it's very nice. This game has aged very well.
Alien: Isolation. The best game i’ve played. You actually feel like you are inside a space station fighting to survive. Often you also get the feeling that you are in the movie itself. 10/10
It is an amazing game! The first playthrough is a scary, stressful, horrifying experience! I would dread putting it on but wanted to see where it was going!
HUGE fan of the Alien movies and this game recreates the enviroment perfectly. In fact a little too well. I tried to play and it was a bit too stressful for me at the time. I might go back and give it another try..lol
If there's a game that deserves a remaster, it's Alien: Isolation, what a game. I've played a lot of survival horror games and this is by far my favourite. The only other game that comes anywhere near this genre is Dead Space.
Great List! I would also add: - Diablo 2 Resurrected - Baldurs Gate 2 - Hades - FTL (Faster Than Light) - Starcraft - Jagged Alliance 2 All are Games I revisited again and again even years later…
@@BobanX1 Every single pixel of FTL was well invested. Despite its simplistic but charming graphical design, it is super immersive. Unlocking and mastering each space ship was a blast and I did it two times already. Even after years I get back to this masterpiece! One of the best Indy Games ever made!
A lot of people citing the bugs of cyberpunk at release are missing the point. If someone will pickup Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty TODAY in its current state, its an 11/10. It definitely belongs here.
Disregarding the bugs, the enemy level system was pretty bad making most combats either ridiculously easy or nearly impossible. Also the ending was muh. To me it was a good game that left a taste of disappointment as it feels like it could have been a masterpiece.
@@r.c8756i played each ending and genuinely felt like whatever play style you chose it perfectly suited the choices you made. loved the ending. the difficulty i understand but it was fun just mowing through everything with arm blades
Ghost of Tsushima was a 10/10 game for me as well. if you haven't tried it, you will find that it is also a masterclass in game design and story. It also has some of the Shadow of Colossus minimalism that works in its beautiful environment.
I'd like to try it, but as a non-hardcore gamer, I've heard it's very difficult. I don't like having to redo the same fight repeatedly because of the challenge (which is why I've never tried Dark Souls games).
@@IdrissAlMiqdad ghost of tsushima is nothing like a souls game. As someone who is ass at games I can say that GoT is pretty easy, there are some bossfights but if you get to that point you probably already mastered the smooth and easy to learn combat. Hope this helps
I unfortunately don't like it. I am not saying it is a bad game, it is beautiful, it has many things to do, but it is so slow and shooting, even very frequent is not that satisfying to me. I think that is because of the time period and old weapons. It feels like I have to quit my job to have time to fully enjoy it
hated every minute of playing that game. one worst gaming experience i ever had imo. not joking. i really just dont get the hype at all. is a horrible game....... top 5 favorite-best days of my life...... was when i unistalled that game.
@@FastDuDeJiunn well I don’t everyone to like it. The story was all over the place however the characters felt believable. Like real life it has its hardships. Compared to most of the garbage games out there, RDR2 had some of the best visuals. I spent more time free roaming and hunting than the campaign.
For me it's got to be Bloodborne, Dark souls, Disco Elyseum, Max Payne 1, Hollow knight and Persona 5. There's a lot more 10/10 games, but it's a good way to start.
Bloodborne! 🙌 such a masterpiece ! 👌, .. (sometimes when I'm stressed I boot up the game and I just walk around and het lost in its intricate architecture, LOVE IT!)
I played about 65 story games last two years, and the best games for me are : witcher 3, rdr2 , days gone, cyberpunk 2077 plague tale series, god of war, mafia series, uncharted legacy thieves, gta iv, metro series, horizon zero down and forbiden west, The Walking Dead The Telltale Series, tomb rider series, dead island 2 , assasin creed 3 and black flag, shadow of mordor and shadow of war, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, dying light 1 and 2 , outlast series, resident evil series, the last of us 1, detroit become human, far cry 3 , stray, hogwards legacy, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and morales, max payne 3 : most of these games are 9.5-10 /10 . Also some other good games(8.5-9 /10 : control, evil west hitmen world of assasination, gta v, the quarry, hellblade, Deus Ex Mankind Divided, Banishers Ghosts of New Eden. i agree with your list. ghost of T is a 10/10 for me and Alan wake2 is 9/10. actually wasn't a giant Control fan. I could see how people would like though. and I just noticed u did play Control. and Eldin Ring was good but extremely hard! I'm have to check out shadow of the west
I took the time to read this list. I like all but that marvel guardian of Galaxy game is nowhere near a 9/10 more like 7.5/10. The only thing that holds up it up is the banter between the teammates. They capture that perfectly. But the marvel games are just cash grabs at this point.

Agreed, got every achievement of it, I still keep playing it. I just finished couple days ago the true ending hitless I also played path of pain hitless, there is alot replayability
1. Ghost of Tsushima 2. Cyberpunk 2077 3. Dragon Dogma Series 4. Witcher 3 5. Fallout 4 (Modded) 6. Batman Series 7. Shadow of Mordor Series 8. Assassinss Creed Series 9. Far Cry Series 10. Ghost Recon Series
I am playing it right now. I don’t hate it, but to be honest I don’t find it funny. I continue to play it just to see how the story evolve. I see it’s a masterpiece in several aspects, but some story elements seem forced as if it wants to be different no matter what, and the gameplay seems to me boring and flat. I’ll look forward to see if something change going ahead. It’s a very very good game, there is a lot of quality, but it’s not a masterpiece and it’s overrated. It’s just my opinion and it could change with time while I play, so I perfectly understand why many people love it and call it a masterpiece, no problem with that. It depends also on how you approach it.
I'm really excited for Death Stranding 2. I hope they add in some more Metal Gear style combat stuff, because the game just needed a little more action in it in my opinion, but it is a really cool and unique game that gets very addictive when you get into the loop of creating new and better ways to get across the map.
Yeah Outer Wilds was one of the few games I couldn’t wait to go play every day. Too bad it’s the type of game that has really bad replay-ability, to me anyway. But that’s true with any mystery / exploration game.
You're the first guy I have come across to talk about Deus Ex games. They are massively underrated in my opinion, superb story lines and memorable gameplay. Great list!
people who think cyberpunk is good have never played deus ex. I swear how are they playing I'm such an empty open world?? and the skill tree is filled with useless skills (+5% increase to blah blah power etc.) it's so lame
ME1 was 8/10 for me. the console (Xbox) limitations and sometimes poor interface and movement issues were, while not common, present enough to annoy. ME2 was almost there 9/10 but the game energy stalled often between missions.
I'd pick the Prince of Persia released in 2008, it was completely different from the franchise with an open world and very innovative gameplay mechanic, but what blew my mind was the amazing romantic/tragic story heavily inspired by the zoroastrian belief system. You're left wandering if the game was some kind of fairy tale or a dream.
Cyberpunk is a absolute masterpiece one of the most immersive games iv ever played ever person u talk to feels real and the choices in gameplay let you play however u want along with a detailed open world and gripping story
Bloodborne is 11/10 Ghost of Tsushima is 11/10 Sekiro is 11/10 Demon’s Souls Remake is 11/10 Lots of missing games in here that should have made the list. I liked Deus Ex: Human Revolution but honestly there’s some stuff in there that didn’t age well, especially the bosses. I’d bring it down to a 9/10. Also, the Plague Tale games don’t have very good gameplay. The story and art direction is good but that’s about it. I’d give both 8/10.
@@fullmetaljacket510 I didn't want to add it to my list at first but voice acting is 11/10. Design/graphics, the open world, combat, story all 10...First time I ran out of fuel and had to push my bike to a fuel station while avoiding zombies is one of my most unique gaming experiences till date.
@@craftedtunesentertainment5569 Agree that it's highly underrated. I wish people would revisit it. Sure it had bugs in the beginning, but that was fixed. Game was amazing IMHO.

Those are all wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy older than any game in his list (except Bioshock, if we don't count its 2016 remaster). If you gonna go that far in the past there are hundreds if not thousands of 10/10 games, but good luck making anyone but retrogamer play them today.
I love God of War, Elden Ring, Ghost of Tsushima, Resident Evil, Horizon......but by far the best game I've ever played: Bloodborne 🏆 A hunter must hunt 💪
@@matttozer1646 Combat being annoying was the main reason I stopped playing Witcher3 after 20 hs or so, that and it's difficulty seeming very unbalanced. The while, I'm still playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance after racking up more than 3500 hs! A game where loads of people complain about the difficulty of combat. But you can actually train, learn how to use it and get good, as a player I mean, not the character, that's a separate thing. In Witcher 3 I never got past the feeling of random button mashing.
Yeah, me too. I got a bit frustrated with the combat, honestly. And Geralt didn't seem like a likable protagonist. Just a dude with a deep voice. I'll give it another shot soon
I played halo 1 for the first time just a couple years ago, I played multiplayer before here and there and a little of the first area, but I was always a nintendo and sony guy so I thought it was mostly hype. Finally played it in game pass and wow, even with the outdatedc graphics, very few games makes you feel such magic specially fps, I was impressed by some of the semi open world areas and just the sandbox feeling of the game, I ended up playing all the series up to 5 but 1 is still my favorite, an absolute classic.
Final Fantasy 7, Metal Gear Solid, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, Persona 5, Resident Evil, Doom, Secret of Mana, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Goldeneye, World of Warcraft
@@williamregenauer9519 It absolutely did not, and that's being objective. It was like an 85% carbon copy of the original except it did everything better. They took the best RE game out there and made it better and modernized it. But, I get it. It's cool to hate on things that are good for no reason. You may not have liked it, but that doesn't mean it wasn't great.
Final fantasy 7 rebirth, remake and Baldurs gate 3 are my absolute favorites from this list. Dragon's dogma 1 & 2, like a dragon (yakuza 7&8) are my special mentions. There are a lot of games I truly love but these are the most recent ones.
Remake and Rebirth are both fantastic and seem underrated by a lot of gamers, for whatever reason. They look fantastic, play fantastic, and the soundtracks are the best gaming has ever seen, IMO. Hard mode is no joke, either: I play Elden Ring to cool down after I lose too much in Chadley's combat simulator. 😂
So many 10/10 games .....and the most youtube videos have highly repeated lists. Yours was refreshing...while acknowledging there are more out there and not forgetting to include games like rdr2, gow, witcher3, last of us and such..... you still kept the list refreshing with entries like shadows of colossus, persona, plague tale and such.
The shapeless enemies are probably what held Prey back. I liked it but wouldn't go above 8/10, that said, I wouldn't go up to 10 for any game there is.
I played RDR2, and when finished I started Witcher. I found my horse and start riding it, after RDR2, I just quit Witcher never looking back. If that game feels real, what the hell is then RDR2.
The legend of Zelda: link to the past, super Metroid, castlevania symphony of the night, chrono trigger, Elden ring, v rising, soul sacrifice, sekiro, rdr2, ninja golf.
Oof...three bangers right there. A Link to the Past was so goddamn phenomenal, so was SoTN. Actually just replayed that recently on the PS5 collection version. Sekiro is also one of my most beloved games, despite how tough it was. That game is so good.
First of all this list is great so I subscribed. Second of all Skyrim, oblivion and dead space 2 are the first games missing that come to my head. Skyrim and oblivion were games I practically devoted my life to back in the good old days lol I know I'm missing another but idk

For me, the games that gave me the most fun to play were : - Far Cry 4 (and Primal) - Ghost Recon Wildlands - Assassin's Creed Origins I've only played two of the games on your list (Last of us and Bioshock), but I'll be testing The witcher 3 and The plague tales soon.
@geraldroof1481 I disagree. I regularly enjoy games from 20 + years ago. For example, I played Diablo 2 on and off for years, and the remaster was an instant buy for me. I also enjoy the original Doom it's the grandaddy of all shooters, and it still holds up well today.
Yeah, I played the original all the way through several times. An outstanding game. May get the remake - but I have to get a console first. I just don't have time nowadays!
Screw everything about AAA nowadays. Feels like none of their brass are actual gamers. All fake rat race suits. Go get em tiger ! Gamers will always reward passion and ingenuity
@greengrugach1984 As a gigantic fan of the original DS (also born 1984 and DS1 is my favorite out of the trilogy), you guys did an absolutely stellar job with the remake. The only thing I could fault was that I missed the original Dr. Kyne actor and apparently it doesn't run too well on PC (played on PS5), at least I've read that. You should be very proud and if the world was a fair place, you'd get to work on another one. I certainly hope there will be more Dead Space and you guys will be involved - I loved every second of it, so THANK YOU for your hard work!
Rdr 1,the doom series, Detroit become human, the fallout series (cannon only), and Left 4 dead 2 are the greatest games I've ever played (this is coming from A 13 year old btw)
Half-Life! I understand it's really old by now but it was and still is a master of game design and perfection. The first game I ever played through from start to finish even though I've been a gamer since 1990.
I'd also have trouble picking between Days Gone and The Last Of Us. TLOS probably wins by a hair because of narrative continuity. I love Days Gone's open world, acting, gameplay, and the hordes! In fact, the only lingering beef I have with Days Gone is that here's Deke spending at least 2/3 of the game mourning and searching for his wife, hopelessly, it seems. Then Hurrah! he finds her, this and that happen, and then for the entire rest of the game she's just around. No interaction, nothing. It's like the writers completely forgot what drove Deke for the bulk of the game. love your list, added two to my Wish List, thx. I'd also include Cyberpunk 2077 and the integrated DLC, Ghosts of Tsushima, and Uncharted 4. For nostalgia in immersive experience, I think of Ico first. Just wanted to give it a shout.
100% Agree with you. I would have liked to see more interaction with her. Heck, even some really good scenes where the two are alone, sitting together, overlooking the settlement. A romantic scene during a party, where they dance together, and maybe even more missions where they travel out into the dangerous areas, but because she needs things, and it's just easier for her to go along, so she can help find the stuff. I think had they done this, more people would be in love with the game.
@@J0ko67 It's still worth playing. The game is literally the most underrated game I've ever played. Nobody talking about it a couple years later, when I played it, and as I'm playing it, I'm like, "Why isn't anyone talking about this?" And the ending! Wow that hints at such an amazing Part 2, that we are never going to get, all because the game was buggy at release, and so people trashed it to the point the sales stopped. I do blame the Devs for that. Companies need to stop pushing buggy games out the door. Gamers may not like it when a game doesn't release on time, but they hate it even more when it's a buggy mess at release. Given the choice of buggy but on time, and late but good, we will always choose the latter. Companies simply need to do their pre-orders differently. Simply state that the planned release date may be X date, but unforeseen problems may cause that to be pushed back. Give reasonable dates. Stop taking pre-orders when they aren't even sure if they can make the proposed release date. But trust me, this game is worth your time. You won't regret the time you devote to it, even with the spoiler.
I couldn’t disagree more. The evolution of the combat mechanics, the deeper delve into an already incredible story, and the world design took an amazing game and truly brought it to life. Not to mention you can play the OG game in game so you get the best of both worlds lol
@@evounox2099 great storytelling indeed… but it’s definitely not a game imo. Every 2 minutes you get a 15 minute cut scene. That’s an interactive story and definitely not 10/10
Agree. The pacing, gameplay, story, characters, everything in the original FF7 is just 10/10 perfection. It's maybe the best console game of the 90s (up there with Ocarina for consoles). FF7R is great but has some things that drag it down, overly long cutscenes, dumb added meta plot with whispers/fate, terrible out of place final chapter. Still an 8/10 though.
So many great games out there. My top gaming experiences have been, in no particular order: Red Dead Redemption 2 Elden Ring The Last of Us 1 and 2 Metal Gear Solid 5 Uncharted 4 Braid Inside

Neverwinter Nights 7. Neverwinter Nights 2 6. Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 5. The Witcher 4. The Witcher 2 3. Cyberpunk 2077 2. Disco Elysium 1. The Witcher 3 Making lists like this is pointless. Everyone has a different taste and values different things. There is no such thing as a "perfect game", just a game perfect for you... That being said, I really need to play Baldur's Gate 3 - might rock my whole list, from what I heard.
I don't know how Alan Wake 2 consistently flies under the radar since it's release, but it's the absolute best horror/thriller game I've ever played period. From this list my favorites are Witcher 3 and RDR 2, which indeed is the. perfect. game. At least for me.
The Uncharted series imo deserves a spot amongst a list like this. Uncharted 4 would have to be my pick of the series, but I had loads of fun playing through them all.
Dragon Age Inquisition has a level of "heft" (for lack of a better word) that REALLY makes you feel the weight of the world that you're trying to save. There are some scenes I've watched entirely too many times, that STILL choke me up, every. Time. "🎶Shadows fall, and hope has fled...🎶" "Your leader! Your Herald! YOUR INQUISITOR!" "You wanted the best for YOU! For your (expletive) legacy! Anything for that!" "I would have saved you the pain of learning that all you knew about me was a lie." "He killed me, and I have to kill him back!" So. Many. Moments.
@@laurentguyot3362 Oh, I'm not saying it's flawless. There are admittedly plenty of invisible walls, slippery rock climbs, and Shadow of the Colossus BS that can make an initial playthrough highly aggravating, to say the least. But the game does hold up well on multiple runs, and it's on those subsequent runs where, knowing the lay of the land, you can settle in and focus on the story, the characters, and the command decisions.
@@laurentguyot3362 Dragon Age. "Shadow of the Colossus BS" is my term for when a game shows you an objective that's apparently only a short distance away, but it requires an obscene amount of traipsing about, to actually reach the blasted place.

Agree on Days Gone. I had it in my library for a while, then decided to play it. Very happy I did. Then I was sad that a Part 2 wasn't coming. That ending! It made me excited for a Part 2.
For me these were the 10/10 games: 1. Elden Ring 2. Zelda BoW/ToK 3. Sekiro 4. GoW 2018 and Ragnarok 5. Hades 6. Hollow Knight 7. Spiderman 8. Stardew Valley 9. Ori Will of the Wisp 10. Terraria
Hades ? I'm planning to buy it on my xbox x. 1. Is the grinding element seems repetitive and gets boring at some point ? 2. I'm more into platformer puzzle games. Hades being rogue like, i'm confused whether it satisfies my subjective urge. Anything else you want to add and convince me dwelling into hades world ?
@@VK-oc2bx To answer your question: 1. The grind element "seems" repetitive at first but the more you progress, you unlock different weapons and God abilities which keeps things fresh. Even mid around you can change the way you play through Daedalus Hammer upgrade. Even with the same weapon, depending on your build you can also change your playstyle. On ttop of that, after you obtain the "real" ending, you can raise the difficulty of the levels so you won't ever feel you're playing the same thing over an over. You can also customize what you want to make harder (ex. raise enemy health, boss obtains new skill, etc). 2. I've noticed platform games, the developers keep things interesting by the progress you make through unlocking areas, different abilities, and new boss fights. Hades also has those elements but the main way you see progress throughout the game by leveling up your stats using something called "darkness" you collect throughout the playthroughs. Honestly it scratches a different type of itch from Hollow Knight or Ori. Hades was the first rogue-like game I've played an tbh its was pretty slow at first and the takes a while to get used to. I gave up playing after beating the second level the first time but picked it back up and did not regret it for a second. The more you play, you start to understand the mechanics and different builds which keeps things fresh even though you go through similar areas. When it's on sale it goes for like $15 I think and considering the replay ability its 100% worth it.
@@captainalpaka1551 Sekiro is definitely one of the harder games I've played. I don't mind hard games as long as it's not annoying. I absolutely hated Dark Souls 2 because more than hard it was just annoying. It took me 41 tries to beat Isshin but every single try was hella fun.

Max Payne I and II - played them as a teenager and oh boy were those games advanced at the time!
The Kung-Fu mod for the first one is still one of the best games I've ever played.
Honestly it's been years since I played Max Payne and I don't think it help time that well, Max Payne 3 was a very good game actually. If you want to go even further in time you can mention Knights of the Old Republic, if that is not a must played experience I don't know what is.
The ability to shoot at a random bottle stored on a shelf on bar that would make the bottle explode. That was amazing
I am proud to be Finn. Max Payne 3 was not that good.
Glad to see A Plague Tale get some love. They’re criminally underrated, absolutely beautiful games ❤
Horizon Zero Dawn was a whole new level of story telling for me. I like to play games but it usually takes me a year to casually finish one. Horizon was so good I couldn’t stop playing and finished it in a few weeks with over 90 hours of gameplay logged.
Great game! Forbidden West is even better imo. My first platinum on the ps5!
@@Lars-no9nf I pre-ordered that game and I still haven’t finished it ngl. Nothing wrong with the game I just got busy!

Yours was refreshing...while acknowledging there are more out there and not forgetting to include games like rdr2, gow, witcher3, last of us and such..... you still kept the list refreshing with entries like shadows of colossus, persona, plague tale and such.
Bro made the safest list of all time 😂
Good job man, mine would be:
MGS3
Half-life Series
Gears 1 & 2
Halo 3
Witcher 3
Bloodbourne
just to name a few
Half Life 👌
Half Life 💪🏼. Permanently imprinted on my mind even after all these years 😂
Just list the few overrated games that normies wont stop yapping about and call it a video
I dont think this guy has the experience or PC to reference Half-life. Its mostly modern console.
Well your is pretty safe too don't you think ?
Prey is definitely a 10/10 game that didn’t get enough attention
One of the best games ever
Remake or original?
@@Jonathan-zq8vsI think he means the remake.
That’s crazy I just started playing it again because it’s so good
The shapeless enemies are probably what held Prey back.
Mad respect for the P5 shoutout
Zelda Ocarina of Time on the N64
💯 % agree
Skyrim, Bioshock 1 2 and Infinite, Mass Effect 1 2 and 3, Portal 2, GTA San Andreas, Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Kart 8 deluxe.
Had to scroll for 2 weeks for anyone to mention Portal 2. FFS
Ghost of Tsushima on PS5, PS4, and PC
Skyrim was awesome for it’s time.
Great list, and the addition of persona 5 makes it top tier.
Thanks!
Your list is spot on. I would include link to the past along with Far cry 3 and fallout 3.
Cyberpunk 2077 + phantom liberty with the game in it’s now final state is phenom
'with the game in it's now final state'- just lul.
@@pr0x2l33 I never touched the game until 2.1 and it was an incredible experience on pickup. Sucks it did not release like that for everyone else who played prior.
It’s not that good
💯
It's in my top 3 of all time.Inno particular order... Cyberpunk, Elden ring and Skyrim
That was a solid list. I picked up A Plagues Tale for free off Epic about 2 years back, but never loaded it up. Guess it might be time.
It is a horrible game
Dont. It isnt fun. Its so basic and boring.
@@coopstain1728 man to my heart. Keep the plague tale slander coming
A must play game, both parts are soo good to play.
RDR2 is handsdown the best game I have ever played. Assassin's Creed Valhalla is also really good. I recently played Ghost if Tsushima, also very beautiful and cinematic.
For me, the games that gave me the most fun to play were :
- Far Cry 4 (and Primal)
- Ghost Recon Wildlands
- Assassin's Creed Origins
I've only played two of the games on your list (Last of us and Bioshock), but I'll be testing The witcher 3 and The plague tales soon.
Some of the best games ever came out in the 90s and early 2000's. You need to give the "classics" a try.
well name some then!
Half-life, Deus Ex, Fallout 2, KOTOR, WOW, Diablo 2, No One Lives Forever, Quake 3 / Unrel Tournament, Settlers 3, HOMAN 3 and many more :)
Nostalgia. Even the mighty vanilla WoW. Try going back and playing these games now.
@geraldroof1481 I disagree. I regularly enjoy games from 20 + years ago. For example, I played Diablo 2 on and off for years, and the remaster was an instant buy for me. I also enjoy the original Doom it's the grandaddy of all shooters, and it still holds up well today.
@geraldroof1481 People like me who have been playing games since the 80s care more about the gameplay and graphics, etc, are a secondary concern.
Horizon Zero Dawn. The setting, the gameplay, and especially how the story unfolds.
Absolutely amazing!
Superb. I’m playing forbidden west at the moment and I find it harder than zero dawn weirdly. Great games 👍🏻
Boring slop
Fw is better but yes
Just finished Dead Space remake. Perfect game imo.
Just wanted to give it a shout.
yeah, Writing could have been better. Solid 9/10.
Thx for the spoil dude 👌
@@J0ko67 L
Good list. I woukd only remove FF7 remake. The original is a 10/10. The remake was ok.
Yes this is true . Beside from the enhanced graphics, the whole thing is strayed off.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (1998) 10/10 The best video game of all time.
So many great games out there. My top gaming experiences have been, in no particular order:
Red Dead Redemption 2
Elden Ring
The Last of Us 1 and 2
Metal Gear Solid 5
Uncharted 4
Braid
Inside
Respect for shouting out FFVI. It's always been my favorite
I think I need my own list here...
15. Baldur's Gate
14. Baldur's Gate 2
13. Fallout
12. Fallout 2
11. Planescape: Torment
10. Sanitarium
9. Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura
8. Neverwinter Nights
7. Neverwinter Nights 2
6. Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines
5. The Witcher
4. The Witcher 2
3. Cyberpunk 2077
2. Disco Elysium
1. The Witcher 3
Making lists like this is pointless. Everyone has a different taste and values different things. There is no such thing as a "perfect game", just a game perfect for you... That being said, I really need to play Baldur's Gate 3 - might rock my whole list, from what I heard.
Yes you do! Best RPG ever made in my opinion.
BG3 is good but BG2 is still better, it was so ahead of its time when it was released.
No GoW on here, interesting. I consider it the best game of all time. Also I’m surprised he didn’t put Gears of War
How in the world have you not played BG3
Great to see Mass Effect Legendary in this list, deservedly. Truly incredible.
i think cyberpunk should be there now too , the game has a really nice story mode and the visuals are epic
Time.
"🎶Shadows fall, and hope has fled...🎶"
"Your leader! Your Herald! YOUR INQUISITOR!"
"You wanted the best for YOU! For your (expletive) legacy! Anything for that!"
"I would have saved you the pain of learning that all you knew about me was a lie."
"He killed me, and I have to kill him back!"
So. Many. Moments.
the story was good be the game itself was barely OK
@@laurentguyot3362 Oh, I'm not saying it's flawless. There are admittedly plenty of invisible walls, slippery rock climbs, and Shadow of the Colossus BS that can make an initial playthrough highly aggravating, to say the least.
But the game does hold up well on multiple runs, and it's on those subsequent runs where, knowing the lay of the land, you can settle in and focus on the story, the characters, and the command decisions.
@@ToABrighterFuture hmm you're talking about dragon age or shadow of the colossus?
@@laurentguyot3362 Dragon Age.
"Shadow of the Colossus BS" is my term for when a game shows you an objective that's apparently only a short distance away, but it requires an obscene amount of traipsing about, to actually reach the blasted place.
@@ToABrighterFuture Ho all right, I see what you mean, like tomb raider or essentialy any platform games?
Days Gone was really good, great plot, deep characters that you will remember, beautiful landscapes, combat and behavior of hordes!
Mafia 1 remake deserves TOP 15 as well, very well designed remake that brings memories from original game released more than 20 years ago. Cheers!
Agree on Days Gone. I had it in my library for a while, then decided to play it. Very happy I did. Then I was sad that a Part 2 wasn't coming. That ending! It made me excited for a Part 2.
Port Days Gone to Xbox Series X, please
Ghost Of Tsushima also 10/10. Great Story, nice Graphics, and great character Buiding.
My favorite game is baldurs Gate 3, but it was obvious, that this will be on this list. So i was excited to see persona 5! But where is Half Life 2 😭
played only Witcher 3 and God of WAr, both amazing ! thanks for the awesome review, it's gonna help me chose for my next pick !
For me these were the 10/10 games:
1. Elden Ring
2. Zelda BoW/ToK
3. Sekiro
4. GoW 2018 and Ragnarok
5. Hades
6. Hollow Knight
7. Spiderman
8. Stardew Valley
9. Ori Will of the Wisp
10. Terraria
@@VK-oc2bxhades is brilliant but just not my cup of tea. Try - Mark of the Ninja:Remastered
@@brian7950 Dude, Sekiro drove me mad but I loved it sooooo much.
@@VK-oc2bx To answer your question:
It took me 41 tries to beat Isshin but every single try was hella fun.
i think uncharted 4 desrves to be on this list; keep in mind that i played most of the games showed in the video
If an uncharted game is 10/10 it’s gotta be Uncharted 2.
That's the only Uncharted I played and even without knowing the previous stories I liked it a lot. Probably gonna play again.
@@philipsk Yup.
Dead Space Remake, what a great game!
RDR2 will always forever be my number 1. The story seriously made me reevaluate my life and honestly made me make some changes. If u haven’t, i recommend it and pay close attention to every interaction.
Ghost of tsushima was the best game ive played in a while. Elden ring came out when i was playing it and i couldnt ever get into elden ring because of it. Its just beautiful, graceful and visceral all at the same time
I agree with most of your list.
One of my favorite is dragon age inquisition
Bro said dragon age inquisition 🤢🤢🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ugh. WTF? Super repetitive. Brain dead hack and slash. Completely dumbed down to be "accessible" for console gamers.
The predecessor is infinitely superior. Dragon Age: Origins.
That's one of the last games the original Bioware made before being bought up by EA and then falling apart.
Origins was an amazing game, I totally agree... but Inquisition was awesome as well. No need to hate on people's taste like that. It's all opinion based. Acting like a DA 'snob' to others isn't at all necessary.
Ori and the will of the wisps is 10/10 no questions.
For me, Detroit Become Human is one of the best games i have ever played! I have never felt so connected to some game characters like in this game! Absolute 10 out of 10 for me!
- Horizon zero dawn and forbidden west
- Spiderman 1. 2 and miles morales
- Ghost of Tsushima
- Dead Space remake
- Metal Gear Solid V
- Bloodborne
Cyberpunk.
