I am sorry but God of War Ragnarok SHOULD NOT have won game of the year, because Baldur's Gate 3 is probably the best RPG of all time. What Larian Studios did with this game has set a bar so high it will probably never be reached again.

Who says breathe of the wild is empty? It's one of the fullest open world games out there. There is something to do around every hill/corner and getting sidetracked it inevitable. So much to do and see

The Order 1886 was a shock when I played it in its release, Jaws dropping visuals, excellent gameplay, perfect length. Shame we never got a sequel mainly thanks to the moaners.

But I would see it being there as well.

Gosh, Vaas is so overrated. His combined screen time of 3 minutes and a single memorable quote makes him a “villain like no other”? Have you perchance see the Duke in Counsil?

It’s the Yakuza series for me. So much detail. Its formula is unique. 1/3 epic crime drama, 1/3 brawler, 1/3 fever dream insanity

These are not addictive games, they are just good games. Dave the diver, WoW or Diablo 2 are addictive….

Hogwarts Legacy was fun and impressive for a bit but it got repetitive pretty quick and I stopped playing about halfway through. Very shallow game

im usually a conpetitive games type of guy but played multiple these single-player games. Tried to play TW3 when I purchased it last summer but didnt enjoy it. Tried it again this week but still cant out myself to play. The last time I enjoyed playing these type of games are RDR2, Ghost of Tsushima and AC Odyssey and GoW series.

Butcher Bay was heaviely praised but i dont think sales were very good...at all. That game ´´Blows like a 12 cauge shotty´´

Cyberpunk 2077 after they fixed it is a masterpiece imo. The graphics, lore, characters, and environment are all amazing. There’s no city like Night City.

I would argue against Elden Ring for the simple fact that on mouse and keyboard it doesn't feel that fluid or smooth. It feels a bit like an awkward console/controller port. It's a great game in every other feature, but if the control interface through which you interact with the game isn't great...then it's hard to rate the game as a whole highly.

Ghost of Tsushima will ever be GOTY in my book, screw The Last of Us 2.

I think pretty much everyone knows The Witcher 3. But The Witcher 2 is not bad either. Even the first one has its moments even though it is a LOT more clunky.

I think Hunt Showdown should be on this list. First of all, is a masterpiece multiplayer game, and also, has a wanderfull horror background (also, the sound, is exceptional)

Having played the entire Witcher Trilogy, the Witcher 1 Enhanced Edition is still my favourite. The story in that game was just better told that the others, and the open world felt a lot more dangerous.
