Clarifications and corrections: 1. Unfortunately, Some texts have been distorted. Note that at 8:13 the text says - 'notes: s r m p n (komal) and at 11:59 the text says- 'raag megh, not malhar, haha'. 2. The title 'gharib nawaz' was that of Moinuddin Chisti of Ajmer and not of Nizamuddin Auliya! 3. A lot of folks are claiming that the bandish is in Khariboli and not Awadhi or Braj bhasha. Sure! We can safely say that it is a local Hindustani dialect and many a time the lyrics of these bandishes seem to be a mix of many of these dialects/ languages. Please feel free to express your views! 😁🌱
How is the comment posted 17 hour ago but the video posted 2 minute ago😅 Watching and will adjust if there is any mistake in the video, really happy you posted, made my Sunday🙏
Anuja, this and the last video are probably my favorites by you so far, I enjoyed them both so much!! This one was so fascinating to watch/listen to! You have such a talent for teaching in an engaging way, and your composition was so beautiful!! Illustrations bhee bohat cute hain :) 💕 buss aik *chhoti* si correction: Amir Khusrau is pronounced "ameer" (امیر), not "aamir" (عامر)
Fantastically beautifully composed, my eyes were closed when I listening, I felt almost it's raining outside, God bless you dear and a dandawat pranam to you 🙏
When the heat sizzles here in Delhi under its cloudless sky, your rendition of Megh seems to have brought unseasonal but much desired relief of a cool monsoon day. ❤

Excellent composition, Anuja!! Enjoyed thoroughly!! Hope it rains soon and can enjoy this again during the rain!! Would have loved seeing you sing this composition.
Brilliant! An excellent primer on raag composition and the thought process behind it. Your immaculate melancholic composition conveyed the feelings of a humble plea to uplift the mood of anyone experiencing sadness grief or loss. Thank you!!
Though everyone has already said it, here's more of it :) brilliant explanation, brilliant rendition of both songs, brilliant artwork too. Your joy for the art and music overflows in your videos and infects all who view them! You're truly blessed. All the very best wishes to you!
Your explanation are soo deep for learning history behind every raag and bandish...... because of your videos we get remembered about the rich tradition of literature and music....great stories beautiful rendition ❤👌
Thank you. Through your videos I’m gaining an appreciation for Indian music. My head is moving from annoying high pitched drawls to an emotional thing that can be enjoyed. To pleasant stories than can be told. And as you’ve shown here - songs and stories than can evolve and grow 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
"Saiyaan Hatto Jaao" from Heeramandi is also a beautiful composition, I am listening this one on loop. Don't know about the raag though, "Azaddi" is also a good one with Chorus.... I wish you talk about such songs ... It's always nice to watch and listen you, don't disappear from RUclips. I am one of your fan!
Thank you for uploading the entire creative process! I have no words left to appreciate the mere research that went behind making this bandish. And keeping the context relevant was a cherry on cake. Lots of love didi ❤
Oh God! This was so beautiful. Lately Ive been so much into hindustani music and this was such a treat. Infact I have been learning a lot from you since many months.❤
Ah, you made my Sunday morning! Though it’s still summer here but sure does feel like it is going to rain 🙂 Thank you very much and good to see you back 🙏
So nice anuja... Very well explained for a layman audience... Bring out all creativity right from illustrations, music composition, lyrics and singing 😊😊 god bless you and may you continue posting more for this audience 😊😊
Damn you just made a new composition that is so cool and i thought raag megh and malhar were the same so thanks for clearing that out like your videos❤️
Madam I’m too common people to understand all the things about music, so I skipped middle part and only listened to song at last. Really liked it, very good composition.
This was very well structured, very creative approach and very well explained like always💜 so very greatful to you for the knowledge and enlightening us about our culture🙏 That mumbaikar hindi was Dhasu also you played Nepali song I was very happy
Excellent rendition... One thing I wanted to point out: Gharib Nawaz (blessing the poor) was Moinuddin Chisthi not Hazrat Nizamuddin. Nizamuddin's status was Mehboob e Ilahi (beloved of God). Love from Pakistan.❤
4:19, sawan ko paani moment 😂. Beautiful explanation and singing. By the way who does the animation part in the beginning, is it through AI or someone's original animated art.

You say Raag Malhar ki bandish...is it not Raag Megh
❤❤
बस आंखें बंद कर के सुनता गया..पता ही नही चला कब तन और मन दोनो बारिश में भीग गए... अति सुंदर...कौन कमबख्त दिमाग से सुनता है मैं तो दिल से सुनता हूं..
Reminded me of the beautiful song from Chashmebaddur.Kahan se aaye badara.
Oh yes 😯
Equally beautiful melody but closer to Madhmad Sarang (in my humble opinion 🙏)
Kahan se aaye badra is pure gem by Yesudasji ❤
Yes it is.
I have been a fan of Anuja for a couple of years. She is amazing and I wish her all the best.
Excellent,Anuja! Doesn't matter if it's Khadi boli,Awadhi or Brijbhasa. You are an ubharta hua female Amir Khusru! Enjoyed your composition.
Uffff!! Khusro sahab went beyond gender and loved deeply. Hope someday I am able to love with the same depth! 🌷

Same here. Sayyian hatto jao ... seems have some magical composition
I think that saiyaan hatton jao is based on raag tilang/jog Or combination of both
That song is like a melody in my ears all along till day
@@lilyflower2171 It sounds very similar to the song 'Sadaa' from the marathi movie 'Shala'.... Is that song in the same raag as well?
@@baldeep119 sadaa song is based on raag jog. But I'm not sure about saiyaan hatton jao. It's slightly similar.
OMG it is sooo beautiful and she has sunglasses it so well.
