Man that van looks great! What bravery yall showed in your perseverance to fix it. Another great show guys!
The attention to detail and care you give to your clients is beyond any other custom fab service does out there for its people!!! You guys rule!!!! Also...what are the odds we BOTH spent the day broken down at Prism this summer?!? hahahaha They were nice enough to lend us a lift and their toolbox to get my buddy's 69 Pan back on the road during our cross-country trip recently! Amazing dudes, as like yall'selves. Cheers Swim team!
@@sometimes_choppers wild times man! Thanks for the kind words. Before to long need to have a vanning/ chopper trip with ya! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Bring those vans up to "Road America" some time ;-)
I like the build its very nice you can hit some spots a lot of vans will not be able to hit . . vans 4 wheel remarkably well, that long wide wheelbase you might be shocked how well it actually wheels, I had a spankin new long bed XE nissan hardbody, 8ft bed, it was almost 2 ft longer than most standard 4x4 mid sized pickups, it wheeled so well I was going places only THAT TRUCK could go I kid you not, I could actually 4 wheel all the way to the trail head at scenic hot springs in wa state which was sketchy at best, a creek would wash the road out and there was a horseshoe radius in the road against the mountain side, road was maybe 5ft wide? one wheel hanging down the mountain and one against the wall, generally I was the only truck making it, one full sized chevy made it up didn't make it down, last I saw it was still on the side of the mountain, no injuries tho . . . my cuz never took his new 4x4 ranger all the way to the trailhead.. very few did, i hauled materials up to build the hot spring tubs.. back in the day..
lot to be said about long wide wheelbases, if the front cannot grip odds are the rear can, or vice versa, if you do a lot of snow and ice, be sure to cipe all 4 tires, huge difference... and I attribute that to never having to put chains on my new hardbody, 1986.5 XE, manual trans, 4cyl, bone stock save tires and wheels....... that long wheelbase set it apart, all I had to worry bout was a high center on very sharp hill tops that table topped out but i learned enough speed can get you thru a lot . . . lolololololo . . . . have fun boys its a work of art no jokes I really like it good to see a 4 X van out there again...
Thanks for watching.
Awesome build! I’ve got up early the last three days waitin for this video ✌🏻❤️
i saw the yardbird rolling up 81 passed the 35 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The way junk parts are now u coulda paid $1000 for that box it still woulda done the same thing. Great job guys
Thank you. You are right, parts are not made the way they use to be. Thanks for watching.
So I hope the Prism Van is going to the Congregation Show .. oh and again I was the Penske box truck that beeped and waved and I know I won't shut up about it lol
I remember seeing on the trip. I am sure the van will be at The Congregation! Thanks for watching.
Wishing I was closer to you guys. I'd bring my 83 G20 to ya and let you go 4x4 crazy on it with new engine. Everything to convert the drive train. To a 3/4 ton.maybe even a Big Block. Got the funds.
Thanks for watching!!

Seriously would consider shipping my van to you. To do the above job description. I'm in S.E Iowa.
@@scotteakins7203 This build was really a one time for us. We really only do 1984-1995.
@@theswimshop4x4 😔 that's disappointing. Watching your channel has really inspired me to get my van converted.
I only just found y'all on RUclips. Haven't watched many videos but I'm getting there. Sorry if it seemed dumb.
It just frustrating when someone ask questions about a video before they even take time to watch after we take time to make it..
I'm sorry, and I just found the video for this build. Btw thank-you for explaining the differences in the early and late frames. I'll be quiet more because y'all probably answered all my questions eventually...
Was this done by y'all?
I'm not even gonna respond to that dumb question!!
