I encourage you to not think of this as bad luck, but as boot camp for homeownership! 😉 I rented and then owned an apt and felt the same way. Also, you are letting people see the reality of van life woven with beautiful prose and art. And speaking of art...if Santi would consider putting some artwork on Etsy, I know I would purchase downloads immediately😍 maybe for future consider putting some nature inspired art on the van..even if just the back corners. Keeping you in prayers🙏

It’s their property they can have you removed if they want to ! But they were being nice enough to let you guys stay if you moved to the other side !
They are renting the property out to other companies. It’s like having an apartment. You don’t need to ask the owner of the building if your mother can come visit. The companies that rent from the owner of the lot do not need permission to have their employees park in the lot. The owner did not realize the Van belonged to an employee, therefore that is why he didn’t ask us to leave entirely and just asked if we moved spots.
I hope you bought a magnetic hide-a-key case to put under the van!

You aren’t camping. That should be your first words. They don’t own any property
You are not camping!
You are a professional remote worker while on the computer inside the van. (That word "professional", use it often.)
Santi has a legitimate work contract. He is a professional remote tech support contractor. (Similar to a construction worker that frequents a jobsite for a few days.)
ALWAYS have that information immediately available (company/contact/phone/email) to provide any authority.
And you are NOT "homeless". You are in your home, "Wheel Estate".
Hidden magnetic key holder, be sure it has a strong magnet.
Or wrap a set of keys with black electrical tape. Tie them on with wire/ zip tie underneath where you have to reach up to retrieve. Not so obvious to see, find.
Warped rotors? Possible poor wheel bearing/nut torque/bad caliper Also, if you are doing a lot of mountain driving, know how to downshift on long downhill runs, saves the brakes.
Yup! Thats what we had to explain to the police. We will definitely be looking into an extra key option. And thank you for the downhill tips! That is super helpful.

Tips on where to look for temp jobs like that?? In process of building van.

I hate to always talk about me, me, me but today I'm on my original YT account instead of that weird user number code although I recently changed that to DarlinAkaDarlene which is me, DreamingDarlin, aka Darlene Davis. At any rate, once again I've watched this video through to the end with the extra footage of cats and Nnyji trying to sleep. Perhaps some viewers don't watch till the absolute end but I've now watched it multiple times. The words on the screen stating, "send help. I beg of you" have me mystified. Is it a joke or what? I previously asked that you email me as I was worried and I suggested a possible job offer which I apologize for the fib but I didn't know how to reach you. I remain confused as you seem fine but if you aren't my prayers are with you. Farewell and God speed.

We had permission to park on the property from the company Santi worked with. But the owner of the lot was unaware, causing the misunderstanding. We were employees parking to work. Private property or not, it’s allowed as long as you are a customer or work there. We were not camping 😊
