At the end of R4 I refer to R4 as R15, please just ignore it. This has been a fun week, but every video has been so SO cursed. It's the final day today! I hope you have all had fun. Did you have a favourite? Thank you all so much for guessing and playing along this last week, and for an incredible 2023! I've included some photos from you all up to Day 4 at the end :) I still have a couple of videos I'd like to get out before Christmas, but this feels a bit like the official start of the holidays.
Thank you! They are amazing. I'm gonna attempt most of it, except for ..well, this one 😅 my house doesn't need more of them 🥺 I'm really grateful for you sharing these with us. My favourite is the capybara which I already started and it's so adorable
Gbb are a very popular tarantula in the pet trade. I actually have one myself as a pet. Did you know tarantulas aren’t actually spiders? They’re still arachnids, but they are considered separate from the true spiders. Tarantulas (at least those from the new world) also have a unique defense mechanism called urticating hairs. They basically will kick these hairs off at whatever they perceive as a threat. Each hair is like a tiny itchy needle. And you can develop an allergy to them the more you’re around them. Just some fun facts XD
From what I remember from my zoology classes in college they are spiders. They are a specific family of spiders, but at least 5 years ago they were considered spiders.
❤ she's so cute 😍 I have tarantulas and had a female GBB (chromatopelma cyaneopubescens) called Brunhilde, i had her from juvenile, they have different markings and patterns as spiderlings 😊 All my mature adults have passed away now but i still have 4 tarantulas and a velvet spider but they're all babies. 2 of my mature adults were 24+ years old when they passed
I absolutely love it! Seriously cute! Thank you so much for such an amazing series. Every one has been adorable, I couldn't possibly pick a favourite... but if I had to, it would be this little guy!
This was so much fun to crochet and follow along everyday! I actually found you because I bought your owl bear pattern a few weeks ago but I'm using chunky yarn so finding wooden beads for a beak that big was going to be a challenge so I was looking up how to crochet an owl beak and stumbled across your "designing your own owl video" and eventually realized you were the same person who made the pattern I needed the beak for lol. Thank you so much for doing this whole seven days of crochet, you're really clever and blew my mind a few times and I enjoyed every second of it
This series has given me purpose in December and little break from making gifts for other. I hope next year you do countries like Malaysia and Singapore. because I would love to see that and for the tapir you can make one from South America so it’s equal 😅
I've started using bobby pins to hold stitches out of the way for later, and I'll put multiple stitches on the same pin so that I don't have to use one per stitch. (Yes, this is knitting, but I'd use the same pin to mark multiple stitch-loops in crochet as well if they're all next to each other.) My favorite was the macaw.
Thank you for so many cute and original creatures!!! Your week of Christmas has become ( 2nd I do it!🥰) one of my new traditions of favorites gifts to myself for Christmas ! I already wish you a Merry Christmas and hope that there will be another Week of crochet in 2024!!! Happy Hollidays Season!!!!🎄🎄🎄
Its funny you say this is a complicated pattern when youve made a 100 hour owl and a literal giant gorgeous dragon! Lol! I get why its tricky though. Thank you for all the awesome patterns! ❤
I didn't know tarantulas come in such bright colours!! this is such a fun way to do the legs of it as well. btw if you're curious, the tiny "arms" are called pedipalps!
Thank you for all of these patterns! I especially love this last one; I'm a spider fan, but they've all been great! Did you know that the technical terms for the spider parts are the abdomen (the spider butt) and the cephalothorax (the body/head)? Though I think spider butt is much cuter :beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:
I know it's a tarantula right from the start, and no offensive. I'm going to follow the transcript later. If I decide to make one. I am petrified of all kinds of spiders, but I have made one in the past. This is even down to little money spiders.
It's the absolute CUTEST!!!! I think this made #1 for me, the #2 would have to be your citrus bearing Capybara and #3 the Parrot! 😊❤ Thank you so very much for sharing your talents with us and for another great Christmas tutorial Advent!
Hi CK ❤ your channel xx have just found you and have subscribed! Happy new year 🎉. Would you be able to make a colourful hummingbird……please, I would love to make them for the grandchildren 😊
Loved all your videos in this series! I think the scarlet macaw was my absolute favorite, though the iguana was a close second. Thank you for the wonderful patterns!
Wow!!! Thank you for these 7 days of crochet!! ❤ The tarantula is so cute!!! The animals that you chosed blew my mind! I had a very busy week but as soon as I got my vacation I will give them a try!! It was super fun trying to guess 😊😊 and also was relaxing to watch how the little fellows come to life, I really love that part of my day :) thank you so much for continuing sharing with us ❤❤ hugs from Mexico
Just finished this last one! Thank you for all the work in making these patterns to share with your subscribers. It was fun to make the collection. Happy holidays!
These are all just cuteness overload - I cannot pick a favourite. Thank you so much for these - I didn't have time to participate this time but I will certainly make them in the new year. Thanks again and have a Merry Christmas 🎄
What a crazy funny vid you are an absolute gem love it! The piranha was my fav but I have to admit the tarantula was cuter than I thought possible Thank you for all you do always 🧡
Had a feeling it would be (actually thought it might have been specifically thr brazilian wandering spider). However, imma have to nope on by this one.
Thank you so much for making and sharing all of these patterns! I've only made the capybara so far (with your optional orange addition), but am hoping to make at least one more.
yay!! they’re all so cute!! I didn’t do any (not enough yarn) but I’ll probably do some later, maybe in 2024 I think I got all of them right except for the green iguana, but I got close! ^^
Absolutely loved these past 7 days, you're such a creative crocheter and have provided so much inspiration and brought my excitement around crochet back
What an adorable set of critters! These could make a fantastic gift set for kids... get enough of each yarn and material in each package with instructions and do them together! Just need to figure out approximately how much yarn each of these were... 😂
Turned out really cute, even though I don't like spiders:) Hopefully mine will be cute as well & won't give me as much headache as the iguana, altough this one does also look rather fiddly :'D
I'm a biologist and I'm been depressed almost the whole year. I'm just want to say thanks you, this 7 days surprise patterns made my week and also motivation. Your work it's awesome ❤
Thank you for doing this series!! I've had a lot of fun making these little guys and seeing what everyone made in the Discord. Looking forward to taking part in next year's, if you do it again :DD

I must be the outlier here, but this one so far is my fav! So adorable! Can’t wait to make him tonight!
I understand! XD
I love spiders he is competing hard with the piranha for me. And I don't think he was that difficult to make :)
This entire series has been a joy. Thank you so much!!
Thank you for watching!

I knew about the hairs, I did NOT know they weren't spiders!
From what I remember from my zoology classes in college they are spiders. They are a specific family of spiders, but at least 5 years ago they were considered spiders.
@@carolinaazevedo2088according to clint from clint's reptiles, tarantulas are spiders- but they aren't 'true' spiders.
My little Tapir is there!!! Thank you so much for the week, I really had a great time crafting along with all of you!

Not gonna lie i love the piranha one and now i wanna greif my family with it and make a whole bunch and just hide them everywhere in the house lol
I think my favorite was the lil tamarin guy. He is so weird & so cute.🤣

Hahaha. I guessed alpaca before I heard the clue. I don’t know how many people have an alpaca phobia - I certainly don’t think it’s common. 😂
finnally! a giant COMPLICATED KNOT!
This series has given me purpose in December and little break from making gifts for other. I hope next year you do countries like Malaysia and Singapore. because I would love to see that and for the tapir you can make one from South America so it’s equal 😅
Have loved the series - and this little guy is a cutie. But your chrismas decoration - very nice btw - seems to be......possesed 🙂
I've started using bobby pins to hold stitches out of the way for later, and I'll put multiple stitches on the same pin so that I don't have to use one per stitch. Thanks so much for these adorbs patterns and tutorials - spidey tested me a little but he is a cutie pie
I feel like this could also work as a simple jumping spider given how adorable it is and I might have to make one for my jumper-obsessed mom 😭
Thank you for so many cute and original creatures!!! Your week of Christmas has become ( 2nd I do it!🥰) one of my new traditions of favorites gifts to myself for Christmas ! I’ve gotten every single day correct! So excited for next year ❤❤❤
Day 7! So excited to make this one! I love spider plushies, always make a bunch around Halloween with fluffy yarn! This one is so cute!!
Thank you for all of these patterns! I especially love this last one; I'm a spider fan, but they've all been great! Did you know that the technical terms for the spider parts are the abdomen (the spider butt) and the cephalothorax (the body/head)? I find it hysterical that you did not correct the set malfunction from the other day.
Today is my birthday. I was happy when I saw that this would be the last in this calendar.
I know it's a tarantula right from the start, and no offensive. I'm going to follow the transcript later. If I decide to make one. I am petrified of all kinds of spiders, but I have made one in the past. This is even down to little money spiders.
Everyone gets a free pass to skip this one! Please do not torture yourself XD
🎉 Great job Kylie!!! All of them were superb but I think my favorite was the Tapir. 😊
Aaaw... A spider even I adore 🥰 she is adorable. I will make one and call her Hildegard 💝
The perfect name!
lol considering your other works it wasnt so bad, i was expecting more of a headache lol love it
It's the absolute CUTEST!!!! I think this made #1 for me, the #2 would have to be your citrus bearing Capybara and #3 the Parrot! 😊❤ Thank you so very much for sharing your talents with us and for another great Christmas tutorial Advent!

It was hard to watch as I am scared of spiders!! It turned out terrifyingly amazing.
