I'm so glad you did the coral reef! Pro tip from an illustrative artist, most paints need at least two layers to be opaque, smooth, and completely cover your canvas. (Especially cheaper paints, they often need multiple coats.) Using a little bit of water with acrylics can make them lay down smoother and easier too. I admire your patience and creativity throughout this process though :D These are coming out so gorgeous! Very inspiring, I love them x3

This turned out really pretty.😍 💕😊 I have made an entire Ocean blanket for my great niece & nephew - Crib size of the ocean. It has water, waves, sand, seahorses, seaweed, crabs, sea cucumbers, bat ray, starfish, clownfish, and sea turtle etc. Honestly the most time consuming part is sewing it all on to the blanket.😊

I borrowed a book from the library last month. It's called the "Mad Hatter" book.
There is a basic pattern for a ski mask type hat and then lots of patterns for little bits and bobs like mushrooms, flowers, fish, and so forth. I started one hat and decided I wanted it to be a salad hat. I have all my bits made except the lettuce because I can't seem to find the right shades of green... but I also made a coral reef hat. There was maybe 4 patterns out of the book that I used, and then everything else I freehand and I feel so very proud of that hat! I love everything related to the sea! I also live free form crochet but never had any way to "make use" of it before (I'm not that creative to think "this would make a cool hat!") I did try to make a canvas before and I was not ultimately happy with it. I really love your design process and your creation! My mind can only work out little creative things once it's been sparked by someone else's creativity 😅
