The 1 hour owl is very cute. The 10 hour owl is such a nice medium size project that I can see myself make. The 100 hour owl is a true piece of art 😍
You did incredibly well! This video is super inspiring. Don't be too harsh on yourself.
My favourite parts were the eyes with the incredible details, the talons and the way you constructed the wings🌮
The colour scheme of these makes me think of the owl of 'De Fabeltjeskrant'. A Dutch kids show. He's called "Mister The Owl". (I know very inspiring 😂)

My fave is the 100 hour owl - I love the detail and the pose is so strong. It's also got the allure of "I would never have the patience to make this so I'm enjoying it vicariously!" I'd absolutely love to see what you did with a 100 hour octopus!

I think fiber arts often don't get treated like "real art" the way fine arts like painting and sculpting do, and watching this video just goes to prove how wrong that is. Watching you plan and then execute the 100 hour owl had me in awe. It's beautiful, it's inspired, and it's a level of craftsmanship than many of us wont ever achieve in our liftime. All three are lovely, but the 100 hour is something I would pay to see in an art museum.

Personally I really like the 100 hour owl. It has a lot of personality and detail, it also feels like a sculpture so if a fan of yours recreated it they would be able to have fun with the positioning of the owl. One way you could have spent the remaining 12 hours on the project is to add more yarn to the edges of the feathers on the wings, tail, and under the ears and fluff it out to give it more definition and draw the eyes to the main parts of the project. Also I would add embroidery to the eyes in a slightly different color than what was used for the yarn so it would blend together visually but also visually pop out as a focal point and look more like real eyes but maintaining the cartoonish look of the final project. Honestly the owl looks so cool I'd love to make fan art of the design! 🤩

The idea itself was amazing, your execution was incredible, and I have learned so much just by watching. Thank you so much for making this video. I love the 100 hour owl just cause he has the spread wings. Owls are so often depicted as feathery potatoes that I love the more majestic look of it. Also loved the detailed feathers. On the other hand I really like cutsy stuff so he is a little to sencere for my taste. They all turned out so great and it was really an interesting video to watch.

this is absolutely bonkers, i am OBSESSED with these beautiful owls!! they are all so cute but your 100 hr owl genuinely blew me away. i am an avid bird fanatic and your attention to detail was sooo satisfying.
i was so so happy to see the accurate foot shape with the three toes in the front, and oh my GOSH, the FEATHERS!!! the way you actually paid attention to the shapes and sizes!! the big primaries and the smaller secondaries and the itty bitty tertials!!!! is it normal to get a little teary eyed about it? and the adorable coverlets on top, oh man. i am just struck by the love and attention that went into this big guy!! ugh, and his POSE! the way the wire in the wings let you pose the feathers so he actually looks mid-flap!!
and his face is just gorgeous. i know basically nothing about crochet so it was a very fascinating experience to watch you work, and it was so interesting to see how his horns and brow were a separate piece. it adds such a cool level of depth over the eyes and gives him a real Serious look. and all of the detail stitches to give that beautiful texture all over his body... ah!! im so in love!
im super happy this video was recommended to me so i can subscribe and see more of your amazing work. i seriously cannot express how excited and happy watching this made me, it was totally magical watching him come together. hes so beautiful and i love him so much.

First time viewer. You made these look so much fun to do! I know crochet stitches, but I’m amazed how you intuitively knew how to create the shapes you wanted. For example, you call the baby your “potato.“ 😂 If I had created that by freehand, it would end up stretched out like a lumpy sweet potato! And it would have taken me ten hours. I looove the coral/turquoise color palette and shades for each owl are absolutely perfect. Regarding project planning. The worst part of my professional life is to submit a project plan, even after twenty years. I love the fact that you did a review, or a postmortem as we’d say in my career, to track planned vs actual time spent. I lack imagination, so I don’t see how you could have made a owl that consumed more time. I know your time planning skills come from experience. But wow, I love this trio. Especially Mr Owlbutt. I thought that name was clever, cute, and hilarious!

I love the 10 hr version and would love to find something like that at a craft fair to purchase. That said, my absolute favorite is the 100 hr version. I have been a wildlife photographer and volunteered with a raptor rehab and education center for many years. Your ability to fashion a likeness that is fun, and relatively accurate in its scale, anatomy, and positioning amazes me! The only thing I might have added in the remaining time would be some texture if you could figure out how to model the fringe of the feathers that allow an owl to achieve near silent flight and triangulated hearing to lock on their target when hunting. The position you chose was like it was just about to land on its prey (dinner), talons out and wings flared for a silent but deadly catch! I love everything about it!

I watched this in total awe the whole time! You're so talented! It was so interesting and educational watching your process. I love them all, but the 100 hours owl is the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. I feel so inspired right now!

My 7 year old loves the first one, she thinks it looks like a baby owl. I love the third one because it shows such an amazing amount of skill, and blows my mind.

This is so good! I'm crocheting my first amigurumi now, and you are my new crochet inspiration. I'm just amazed at what you make and how you design. I'm excited to make your Loch Ness Monster, and I absolutely love Marigold the dragon so much.
I love all 3 of your owls, and I would love a pattern for the 10 hour owl. The 100 hour owl is literally a work of art, and I absolutely love the colors you chose and the stitching details on the wings especially are just gorgeous and super cool. Thank you for all the amazing inspiration and beauty!

Every single one of these is above my skill level still 😂 🤦🏻‍♀️ I loom knit and have been using some crochet in that for detail work, but this... Phenomenal 😍 absolutely love watching you work. 10 hour owl is my favorite ❤

I think I agree, the 10 hour owl is the best bang for your buck while still packing in the details. Even though you didn't use ALL 100 hours that one is just EPIC and an absolute stunner. That is yarn sculpture. I admire the pants off the 100 hour version, but the 10 hour one would be as far as I might ever go myself. lol
    On the subject of names....
    1 hour: Owlbutt
    10 hour: Sir Owlbert
100 hour: King Owlbinus the Mighty, greatest of his line.
    lol

Amazing owls! A little of unpopular opinion but I love the 1 hour owl! It's adorableee, Owliver is so cute!
It has a really simple and round shape yet or is complete brought to life and the small details make it so much cooler! All of them are amazing!

Those are beautiful and inspiring! Lots to think about with this type of project / sequence.
I suppose for the remaining 13 hours you could have made a tree it was landing in, or prey in its talons!
I often feel discouraged when I realize how many hours I've spent making a project, but seeing are like this makes me feel good!
Raises the challenge for someone like me.
I HATE sewing these together *sigh* but of the beauty you've created by doing so much detail.
