I love how we ended up with such different results but so many of the things we did/used throughout the creation process were so similar! Magical/fairy vibes: check. Blue/Purple/Green with a bit of brown yarn: check. Fairy lights: check. Thanks for collabing with me again and I hope you're feeling better.
I think what a lot of people won't appreciate is how little we talk about our ideas so we don't effect each other, but then sometimes we are just completely on the same wavelength XD Always happy to collab with you, I always end up learning all kinds of useful things from it :)
As someone who hates sewing the pieces of an amigurumi together, this is essentially my project from hell. That being said; that is absolutely gorgeous! I'm so impressed with the final little creature. I love Hugo (or whatever name he ends up having)
Can I just say, I love it when you two collab together? The contrast between "I used a color picking program to sort things out" and "I'm gonna start spray painting and we'll see what happens" is delightful.
Absolutely AMAZING! I doubted at first I could even tolerate the idea. But the worm is spectacular, and I adore it. I wasn't sure about the lights. They are wonderful. It would fit in my imaginary fairy world.
Hugo is the perfect name for him! I love this adorable creature, an amazing piece of fibre engineering and creativity! The lights look fantastic. Love these collabs with Leigh, you really spur each other on and it's awesome to see. 🐌🐌🐌
Wow! you, girl, are a wonder. What you come up with. He definitely is a Hugo, and I can see a children's books written about Hugo the Bag worm. Now I have to go see what Leigh has created, which I'm sure will be every bit as cool as Hugo. Maybe the book will fit both! Thanks for all your effort in the videos and patterns you put out. I think I've made 6 of your patterns so far. Not in love with making tubes of 4 stiches for the skeleton but he's worth the torture. I even went back for more with a second one. Keep up the work.
It's funny, the moment you mentioned a lot of plant-like pieces I was thinking a creature with a garden on its shell could be a cool route to take... and then you ended up basically doing what I envisioned! I discovered your channel last week, and now I want to start doing my own crochet challenges when I have time (maybe after the holiday stuff). But 100 pieces might be the bane of my existence. I hate sewing pieces with a passion and got into the habit of using surface crochet when I can as an alternative (I'm only now researching actual no-sew techniques). Your guy looks amazing!
The fact that such a thing as a bag worm exists is news to me, so you could have made anything and told me that's what it was. Great collab. Its the reason I found your channel and, as an Aussie, I'm always happy to see and hear someone actually making sense!
🐉🐌nicely done ladies..I'd view Leigh's first so thus had to come and see yours...you've given me some ideas of things to make/sculpt out of yarn...well done for your efforts..big pat on the back girls..I love watching fellow Aussie crafters..
You simply outdid yourself with this one! I think something with a Mr. before the name, like Mr. Hugo Picklegreens or Tipsypebbels or wobblygreens or whatever would be cool, he looks a lot like a distinguished gentleman
Have you thought about releasing the challenge with your original patterns for the piece and see what your viewers can create? I love both of your creations and would love to see more.
You and your friend's incredible imagination and fun impossible challenges are an ever enjoyable addiction of mine. i love your interactions and your individual videos. My 2 favorite crochet creators!
I would like to add a possibility to your non yarn or specialty material. Plarn. Yarn made of plastic bags. The possibilities are amazing. And where you need a much lighter material.... like leaves, you will find that plarn is a made to order answer. It can be made of thick or thin plastic bags (like produce bags or newspaper covers) cut from 1/4" wide with a C hook, to 4" wide using a H, J, or K hook. and made into everything from thick support pieces to very light features.(think willow branches and leaves, or feathery touches). Thin "thread" crochets into a fine fabric feel for clothes, or ironed to make walls, armor and stiffer features, but very lightweight. Think scales on a creature or wings without support or only light support. Some of the challenges you guys think up could use this unique alternate specialty material.
I loved the video! Just wanted to offer a little note: "letting the intrusive thoughts win" is a harmful phrase. Intrusive thoughts are a symptom of a few different mental illnesses, which can feel strange or distressing to the person having them. The thing about intrusive thoughts is that they cannot "win." Spreading this idea often reinforces a tendency to fixate on these thoughts, as if a person experiencing intrusive thoughts must be constantly on guard to avoid accidentally harm themselves or the people around them. It might be helpful to switch to saying "impulsive thoughts" instead! "Impulsive thoughts" carries the same feeling of letting yourself do silly things, without accidentally spreading a misconception about mental illness.
Wow, you guys really are so clever, i love this challenge concept you've come up with and i literally adore all of the Franken Creatures that you've made! It's there more to come from this series??? I hope so 💜💜💜

Wow, I LOVE this bagworm dude! He’s beautiful and totally cool!
As someone who hates sewing the pieces of an amigurumi together, this is essentially my project from hell. That being said; that is absolutely gorgeous! I'm so impressed with the final little creature. I love Hugo (or whatever name he ends up having)
Sameee that’s my least favorite part. I have so many projects that are completed but need to be sewn together.
Same I would diiiiiie. 😂
Amazing!
I love the name Hugo I think it fits him and I guess I’m the weird one because I like sewing my pieces of a amgurumi lol
Can I just say, I love it when you two collab together? The contrast between "I used a color picking program to sort things out" and "I'm gonna start spray painting and we'll see what happens" is delightful.
THIS. IS. AMAZING. !!!!!
Thank you! :)
This is amazing and I’m gobsmacked that it stands on its own 😂
All those little feet-nipples make him crazy stable 😂
“Nippley feet” sent a chill down my spine. Great work!
You always come up with the most interesting things. I especially love the eyes and the flower looking part at the top.
Hes a little bit fancy :)
Definitely on the shell, hiding he’s funny spot. As I’m a cancer, this crab is a dapper crab and I love it.
He's SUPER adorable!! You did a great job girlie!
I love watching the two of you gonat it together!
Absolutely AMAZING! I doubted at first I could even tolerate the idea. But the worm is spectacular, and I adore it. I wasn't sure about the lights. They are wonderful. It would fit in my imaginary fairy world.

Snail offensive….resisted! Lol. This was a hoot! You both are brilliant! Blessings! 🫶🏻🧶✌🏻☀️ Lisa from Ohio
Stunning! Bravo!
I'm impressed that you managed to make something cohesive out of all of that. Looking forward to watching @SkeinSpider's video next!
Instead of an octopus's garden it's a snail's garden! He's so adorable 😊❤
I love the collaborations between you and Lee/Leigh(?) SO MUCH!!!

Your guy looks amazing!
I love it! Creative Genius on display!
Incredible. You are talented and a joy to watch
I love it 🥰 he reminds me of "Gary" the snail in the SpongeBob SquarePants show 😂 but he's all dressed up super cute 😘
The fact that such a thing as a bag worm exists is news to me, so you could have made anything and told me that's what it was.
Great collab. Its the reason I found your channel and, as an Aussie, I'm always happy to see and hear someone actually making sense!
Superb! I love Hugo!
My son absolutely loves it.
Oh my goodness that looks amazing
Absolutely stunning!!!
Oh my gosh we NEED a full tutorial/pattern for the base slug/snail body with all the nips and ruffles!! I love him so much
He looks so amazing and I think Hugo would be a great name for him!
Hugo the Bagworm. It just works!
Just watched this again with my 6 year old daughter and she said the lights make it look like fireflies have landed on it 😍
It is absolutely fabulous. I LOVE IT
I love when you two collab together
Love your videos, specially your challenges
absolutely stunning!
The colour palette is beautiful. I love the sparkly yarn. The snail would blend in perfectly in a magical forest fairy nymph world or a Barbie movie.
Here from leighs channel! Hi 👋👋👋 this looks awesome 🎉🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌
Wow, wonderful creation! You have inspired me. Love your channel and I'm now a subscriber.

Both of you had different results, but your snail could live in SkeinSpiders piece ^_^ It's amazing.
It is incredible.
Hugo is adorable! Your creativity is amazing. I salute both of you for the scope of the challenge and the quality of your results! You are inspiring.
I'm so glad you can see the lights I've done a similar thing on a jacket but the lights weren't able to be seen sadly
🐌 I have not finished the video but I am already excited that you said bag worm.
So cute!!!!
OMG it turned out so freakin cute!!! ❤❤❤
🐌 🐌🐌
This is absolutely masterful!
im obsessed with him!!!
You simply outdid yourself with this one! I think something with a Mr. before the name, like Mr. Hugo Picklegreens or Tipsypebbels or wobblygreens or whatever would be cool, he looks a lot like a distinguished gentleman
Add to the moher a strand of other yarn which is easy to work with and work them together. It should help :)

Wow! That's awesome great work!
This is incredible! Great job!

I love it! I like Hugo, but I feel like he needs MORE name, like Hugo Belvedere McBaggins the third. Or something. Great work!
He’s awesome!
Amazing work . I'm just crocheting for a few months now and would love to make such a creation when or if I get good enough.
