Currently watching all your videos on repeat - even if I'm not doing the project - just to try to get you more reach because DAM are you underrated
CORRECTION: With a veritable herd of mini capybaras galumphing around out there, I have become aware of an issue with R20! Please do this instead: R 20. sc, sc3tog, 4[sc, dec], 2sc.
***
Ok, today was the worst kept secret ever: I saw 84 correct guesses in the comments! Let's see if we can get to 100 correct guesses for Day 2!
Reading all of your comments made me realize a horrible oversight I had made, so please, enjoy this bonus orange that will fit neatly on it's sweet little noggin:
Orange
1. Magic ring 6sc (6)
2. 6sc (6)
Finish off. Weave tail around to close opening.
Use some green to stitch on a leaf.
thanks !! 😁
Thank you!! ❤❤❤
Love it, thank you!
😂the worst kept secret 🤣😂... he is super cute ...thanks for this 💝
Mind pinning this comment? :)
I am a newer follower (and crocheter) and this is the first year of advent I'm able to follow in real time! It's a very fun idea, I'm excited to see what animals will be revealed for the rest of the week!
Same
I think its a scarlet macaw. The Capybara is adorable.
I can't wait to see tomorrow's creature 💖
I loved the mini animals last year. I'm so excited you're doing it again this year! ❤
I've looked everywhere on the internet for capybaras patterns and yours is by faaaaaaar the cutest one
So cute! I absolutely love this series.I know those colors anywhere it’s a beautiful scarlet macaw so I’m assuming this years theme is South America.
So cute!! Love how you've made this a cute advent for everyone ♡♡
Oooh Day number 2 has got to be a parrot. I know Red and White are the main ones, buts I can see the accents of blue and yellow for the wing feathers and grey for the beak and feet. But I could be wrong and assuming as I've just made my friend a key-chain parrot in those same colors lol!
omg wonderful pattern, i made this in about two hours and it came out so stinking adorable, i love him with all my heart
I'm going to guessing tomorrows animal is a red macaw and that the theme this year is south/central american animals!
Yaaaay! I guessed correctly! 😂 He's absolutely adorable! And thanks for the bonus orange 😊 Tomorrow would have to be, none other than the Scarlet Macaw. Their face is featherless and that's why we can actually see them blushing. 😁🥰🥰 I can't wait! Thank you for doing the advent again for us! I love how you go all out!! I cant wait to make them all. Considering the theme must be South American / rainforest creatures. 😊 This excites me! I can't wait to see what else you've chosen!
So adorable! I'm not a crochet-er but just watching your videos makes me so happy and marvel at your creativity! You are an engineer in yarn! 🤩
Oh no, he's adorable! Can't wait to make him whenever I have some time. Also I couldn't stop thinking about a tiny orange the whole time, so I'm glad that you couldn't leave him without one either 🍊
I absolutely loved the capybara, it came out so cute!!! I have a strange guess but I feel like it could be an octopus. I swear that they blush when excited. 😅
I think the theme is Amazon rainforest
gotta be a colorful bird of some kind, I’m guessing a lorikeet or macaw, i have no idea for the clue (even as a bird nerd) but by the color it’s gotta be something like that. I know in the announcement video you said it would be a theme, and I’m thinking it’s a South America kind of thing, especially with the things we have so far.
I can honestly say that is the cutest capybara I have ever seen in my life. You are incredibly talented.
mmmmmmm I'm not able to follow along this year but I will absolutely make him at some point!!!!! he's perfect!!!!!!!
I'm sticking with my gut. Rainforest, and are going to be making a parrot!
this is how I attach the backs of my eyes as well.. I think they are more secure .. plus the way they are situated matches the curve of the face .. so to me your way is not the backwards way at all.
that said .. love this fun series .. looking forward to all the reveals and tutorials...
New sub🥰 I just love this channel SO much! Your content is fantastic but it's your commentary that keeps me coming back. ❤❤
Parrot? Parakeet? some kind of birdy! :)
Such a cute capybara! Think I need to make some more. :D I think its a parrot, because of all the colors, but I cant tell which parrot. But looking forward to tomorrow for next creature! :D
I think it's gonna be some type of parrot-like bird, I'm not sure tho.
Also, I made the Capy in chenille yarn so it's a little bigger than my hand (and fluffy!)
I'll also make one with my size 3 fuzzy yarn for a mini-fuzzball.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow!
I love this so much! I’m making it when I get home!
So cute! 😍
thanks for the amazing tutorial~ so excited abt the capybara
I love your videos. You're so creative. ♥️
I am dying, made this and the cuteness overload is fatal!
So cute! I just finished and made it into a Christmas ornament for our tree. So excited for tomorrow's pattern:)
I'm gonna guess a macaw cause it's the only thing I can think of that has that many colours and is mostly red XD also yay! I guessed correctly yesterday! I will definitely be making this little guy when I have some spare time :)
I'm reassured by the comments that match my guess of a parrot / red macaw :D one of the cutest lil blushers out there!
So incredibly cute! You got my sub
I'm watching and playing guessing with my sister. This is amazing :) I thank you for continuing sharing this is credible projects with us ❤❤ I'm really lucky I found your channel, it helped me a lot to start with crochet, you make it sound easy and it is super funny and entertaining. You make my Thursdays magical :)
i love this, just what i needed while i make a blanket :D
I knew it! He’s adorable! The colors remind of a scarlet macaw, but I don’t know if it blushes so this one is a hard one!
ABSOLUTELY making this cutie for my baby. We jokingly call her Claira the capybara, because of the quote in Rio 2 and it's perfection.
I LOVE IT SO MUCH ITS SO CUTE im going to make it this afternoon
i can't wait to make this little guy, he's so cute!
Love it 😊
This is so cute! I’ve never seen the invisible increase before so thank you for that too!
I'm in love with the Capybara! Capy-stuff-a 😂 in the pattern All the little details in your vids and your creations make you so amazing Thank you
So excited for this entire calendar. I only found your channel now, but i can already see your explanations will make it a smooth experience. I wish i had enough yarn to do all of it every day😊
soooo lovely😍
my guess is a macaw/parrot! cant wait to make a cute little capybara and yay for no sewing on the legs i always sew sideways!
Loving this little cutie ❤❤.
I'm busy crocheting Christmas gifts. One of your Patterns are the perfect gift for my gecko loving friend ❤🎉😊
I'm currently sitting here making a brontosaurus. But once this is done, I'm for sure going to make this little guy! So cute!!
Cute!😊
I'm going to say a cuddle fish because I know they can change color. I don't think thats what it is but I can't think of anything that blushes
yay i got it right oh my word it is soooo flipping cute
He is adorable
It’s so cute I can’t wait to make one! As for day 2 I think it’s a scarlet macaw!
PLEASE share how did you do the bags!! They’re adorable and perfect and I have small oddly shaped goodies to wrap and I NEED to know how you did the lil bags 🥺🙌
I did it! First time following along! My addi crochet hook broke under the stress, but I managed to finish the little dude with just the stump of the hook. I first found your channel for a tutorial, and then stayed subscribed for the vibes, and now actually participating!
I feel like the animal is some kind of parrot. I am not quite sure but can’t wait till tomorrow to figure out!
YES A CAPYBARA! I WILL BE MAKING THIS!
I'm so using a variegated yarn I have for this one! This pattern is fairly straight forward and easy to follow! Thank you! Also, I'm betting it's a parrot of some kind.

Thursday: *lists clues*
Me, thinking of Balancing: Dexter the Balancing Dog!
Thursday: Capybara! Yay!
5 TR cluster? Challenge accepted. I only started learning to crochet in September, but I've been doing so by making a lot of Ollie holly and louiesloops projects. Louiesloops has a ton of puff stitches and other details constructed similarly to this-I feel like my fingers have been training for the crochet Olympics specifically for this moment >:3 TR cluster?! Bring it on!
Love you❤❤❤
nice music choice
Thank you for the incredible music! Also your song descriptions are hilarious :)
So fun! I did this with you - FIRST TIME EVER! My hands hurt, lol, but so so fun! I can’t wait to show my grandson; he’s 5 and OBSESSED with “stuffies from all over the world”! Thank you! 😘🧶🫶🏻 Why isn’t there an emoji?! 🤨
Yay i guessed the capibara, my guess for today is a macaw parrot but idk if they blush.. i thought the theme was meme animals or rodents but now im thinking rainforest or maybe south american animals?
Parrots blushes❤
Aww it is soo cutee, it is my younger brother's bday on the 3rd i guess i will be making one for him, he loves capybaras
I think it is the scarlet macaw. Can't wait for tomorrow! Can you also do some sort of a Christmas-themed project?
My vote is turkey or parrot for blushing. Leaning more towards parrot for South American animals but maybe theme is just American animals
I think the next one is a PARROT!!!
So excited to start making this capybara!!! I’m guessing tomorrow is going to be a bird, probably a parrot? But maybe not
Macaw for tomorrow maybe 🤔 lol and aww it wasnt a sloth lol still happy though 😂x
🖤
❤❤❤
@ComplicatedKnots Hi Kylie (sorry if I misspelt your name), I think there's a tiny mistake in Rnd 20 when you go from 18 to 12 stitches. I couldn't fit all of the stitches in the round 😊
Cute buddy ♥
Interesting clue, I know they are animals that can do it, but cannot recall any... prolly some reptile or amphibian
Edit: I was way too curious and Googled the answer after being done with Cappy and damn, I've had no idea (Well, the colors should be a huge hint, but they weren't for me, lol)
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
At first when i saw the colors i thought toucan, but you said red and white are the main colors so maybe a different tropical birdie. Perhaps a red parrot?
Capibara. ❤
Is day 2 a macaw? Cute!
awwww it could also be a guinea pig
I think that it is a macaw and that the theme is south america.
I think tomorrow will be a scarlet macaw.
Is the theme possibly Animals of the Amazon?
I wanna take a bit of a stab in the dark for the clue and say Red Panda?
It is absolutely a capybara.
Scarlet Macaw
Capybara!!
Scarlet macaw
Complicated knots: you can use scrap yarn as stuffing
Me with a capybara half stuffed with yarn scraps already: I am waaaaaay ahead of you 😂😂😂
I love capybaras ^_^
Red McCaw
macaw is the only animal i can think of
My guess is.... Capybara? theyre pretty chill right?
is it a scarlet macaw for day 2?
3:21
Some chameleon? Since they change color based on emotion?
Omg I love when some turn all red and white & starting reaching for their human!!!
A Cameleon maybe?
Parrot 🦜
how would i go about making this capybara twice as big? do i only multiply amount of rows or stitch count as well? thanks. Love the capybara
If you use a bigger yarn and a larger hook you can make it bigger without changing the pattern. Like you could use a weight 6 yarn with a 4.5 or 5 mm hook without changing the pattern, and it will be bigger. :)
@@sophiadedon6388 thank you for the tip :D but what if i wanted it even bigger XD you know like plushie sized XD
She's actually made a video about how to double the size of any pattern! It definitely involves some math but I've been successful doing it with both her kangaroo and pig patterns.... I just can't seem to find the actual video right now!
@@vikyvixxxen3579 I really don't know, as I've never tried it before! I guess multiplying might work, but I'd think multiplying everything, rows and stitch count would work best. :D
Is it a Macaw?
