I’m have a serious problem! I have a compulsion, to crochet some thing every day! I’m staying up really late lately because I just can’t stop. I mean I’m having fun and I’m still going to work and I’m still feeding my family but I seriously think I need a support group. And now I just came across this video. I love the turtle patter I have done over 12 all have amazing personalities. I used been at Blanket and they come out so adorable. It’s the best turtle pattern I have done. So easy to understand and comes out like the pattern.

I am almost finished with holiday crafting and would love to try the blanket shrug. I'm currently working on finishing up my very first handmade Christmas village and it's been SO much fun. I bought a little kit that comes with all the supplies you need to create a church, 3 houses, and 6 trees. I've been a tad obsessed 😂. I think the blanket shrug will be the perfect after Christmas project.

@@EliseRoseCrochet it was really fun. I found the kit at Barnes and Noble last year on clearance. All the village pieces are made from card stock and they include all the templates so you can make as many houses and trees as you like 🙂It took me about two weeks to put the entire village together working mostly in the evening after work. Because it's paper I'm going to have to be really careful with storing it and it definitely can't go out in the garage with everything else, most likely in a closet to protect the paper and glue from our brutal Houston summers 🙂

I have to be honest... as a fan of yours for the past 2 years, I have never seen you so happy and elated to talk about patterns. It was so refreshing to see and I hope to see more of this side of you. It is like watching an old friend rekindle her passion and I am totally here for it! You go girl!!! I made the costa beanie for a friend the night before an impromptu get together around Christmas and she loved it so much! My friends were so impressed with how it looked and had no idea I did it one night! I didn't have the Wool Ease yarn on hand so I used a ball of Big Twist Classic (Category 5 weight) held triple and it worked beautifully! I'm actually about to make one for myself because I loved it so much!

First time here. I was looking for some quick stuffed animal projects to make for a mission trip in 3 months. I will say, my biggest shock is your kitty!!! He is basically the twin of our brown tabby, and ironically their names rhyme! I was so excited that I dragged my daughter from her room so she could see Pickle for herself. Her cat's name is Nickel. How funny you showcased the dino lovey! I’m currently making him for my young nephew. I struggled with a few directions, but that may be because I bought the pattern from her Etsy shop, so I have now purchased the Kindle book. The half double crochet stitches com together very quickly! I used Hobby Lobby Cozy Occasion yarn.

@kjkernSerendipity it doesn't give specific amounts, just says #6 yarn in main and contrast color. It definitely used about half of a big skein of bernat blanket when I made the dino this last week.
@@kjkernSerendipity I ended up using 1 + 1/4 skeins of Premier Basic Chenille Brights of the main color safe and then 1/4 of a skein of the contrast color! 🦖
