Great vid! This is my favorite Cbus metro park - love the via ferrata!

Man, my eyes were wide open. I was so nervous as you were going down that trail over those big rocks, hahhahah. I am glad to see that you are still giving resources for Columbus newbies and also seasoned ones❤

I was nervous too! Totally thought I was going to do the black rated trail as well, but live to fight another day haha.

Great video. If you have some pull with Metroparks, I would suggest getting the MTN bike area fixed up or leave it just as is, and I'll have a private park to myself. I was the rider there on Saturday. It's such a fantastic location with plenty of acreage. Shirley there should be a professional landscaping company or track builder that could fix that track. Maybe that is all in the works, I sure hope so.

Hey, good overview of the entire project! I've gotta echo you on the mtb trails here; they're just kind of ... off. Drainage issues, poor trail condition, lots of awkward jump lines, and the beginner stuff is dicey. I think they didn't involve the regional mtb group (COMBO) and hired some first-time trailbuilders. The infill development is nice but doesn't come with any "urban infill" advantages. Townhomes might be appealing if there were more walkable or bikeable shopping and dining nearby, but you're going to have to drive over to Grandview or Hilliard to get groceries or dinner. To my mind the park access is great but the basic essentials have to be covered too to make the premium prices these'll go for worth it.

Yeah, I'm typically fairly agressive with things like that, but the trail was off....There is quite a bit more of development to happen over there and it will be interesting to see what happens and how quickly it gets online. Right now you need a car there for sure.

Kudos Andy! I like this format for your videos. You should do more experiential videos like this. That project looks really cool. Those prices are pretty steep on those Condos and Apartments. CBUS is starting to get expensive. Will there be public transportation options in the area? Is there an HOA?

Thank you Indigo! Yes, I'm looking to add more vlog type footage so it's more point of view. I will keep experimenting.

That’s some pretty good mountain biking on a very challenging path.
