- Hi, Guys today we have a fast little 10-Minute Beginner Jump Rope Weight Loss Workout where the only piece of equipment you will need is a jump rope. In today's workout, I will be using my 1/4 jump rope that is part of the Get Lean Set from Crossrope. We are doing 2 x different Jump Rope Skills Boxer Step and Heel to Toe. Each exercise will be performed for 40 sec of work and 20-sec rest.

Yes you got that right. When we travelled to Queens Town in New Zealand I didn't take my Crossrope Flow Matt which I love and use all the time. My 47 year old knees don't like jumping on concrete ☹️

Um. In order for it to be classified as "beginner" you should show us how to do the step in the first place.

Um I can barely do jump rope and not hit my feet or legs, how am I supposed to do boxer jump as a beginner..
The Boxer Step is a beginner jump rope skill. Like anything new, it takes time and patience. Start with a Basic Bounce to establish the coordination and rhythm of rotating the rope and jumping high enough to not get tripped up. It also takes time to build up the lower body conditioning.
