Hi, Guys today we have a fast little Weight Loss Workout where the only piece of equipment you will need is a jump rope. We are doing 3 x different Jump Rope Skills Boxer Step, Forward Straddle, and Side Straddle. Each exercise will be performed for 30 sec of work and 15-sec rest. At the end of each round you get a 60-sec rest to stretch, catch your breath and grab a drink of water.

Love your jump rope workouts. My only suggestion is that it would be helpful if there was a slight change in the music for the rest periods so i dont have to constantly watch the screen...I could just listen and focus on jumping. Thx

The weighted rope definitely increases the intensity of the workout. Are you doing jumping jacks instead?

You could start with 2-3 times but this really depends on what other training you are going and what your goals are?
How many days a week on average do you recommend repeating this workout, and when are results expected? What would be a good long term goal resulting from this workout? As well was wondering if this workout can be done outdoors in cold winter weather, do you have any experience with this?

Its a beaded rope which is heavier than the pvc cord so you do work harder there is no doubt
I feel the break is too long... there is another long pause after the 15 sec rest, so you are resting more than 15 sec
