    Oh my goodness! I've seen Dara on panel shows, but never in stand-up. This guy is hilarious! I have tears in my eyes. Love it!

      @@ethanlappin you really had to be there every performance...I keep finding new bits from old shows and they are all so fking brilliant. Also its funny to know the polished joke when you hear an earlier version of it^^
      The taitoh(I'm guessing the brand spelling) chips/crisps story is one of my favorites that I have only seen him do once.

      ​@@josephinemonahan915 Just because someone has university/college degrees does not mean they have common sense or emotional intelligence. Just book learning is not the same as having common sense.
      I like Dara very much. I first saw him on Would I Lie To You (WILTY). I believe all the seasons and episodes have been posted by various people on RUclips. That is where I watch them because I am in the USA.
      I have to go in another room from my husband because I laugh too loud when watching it.

    i know!! i said it was unjust but that was a VERY long time ago and i know for a fact that no one can remember any of that because they weren't alive!! my point was that there are always innocent people in any conflict( 'clash of cultures' if you will) and i think my grasp of irish history is greater than you think i myself being half irish and living there for a considerable amount of years. i know plenty of irish people who dont give a damn about any of this because its 300 years old!!

    Hilarious,,,but I assume he was being called offstage as he's missed the end bit off the 'Lords Prayer' joke...you know, where the Catholics all say '...Deliver us from Evil, Amen' but the Protestants are all still all smugly carrying on with '...Deliver us from Evil, for THINE is the KINGDOM, the POWER and the GLORY, FOREVER AND EVER. Amen'...lol I've been to a catholic-protestant wedding in Ballydehob and I promise it was just like that, lol.

    Anyway the point is, that any outside force comes against us, we all stick together and become tougher than Chinese algebra! Each Country has it's own semi-independent and elected government. We only really have London as an overall parliament now to give a semblance of a centralised command structure. I love Great Britain, and I hope we keep kicking the crap out of each other for generations, Long live 4 great hardy nations!

    I believe much of the confusion stems from the "Old IRA" (pre-1922), the pre-split IRA (1922-1968) and the "Provisional IRA" (IRA splinter group; post-1969). The Provisional IRA has been involved in recent bombings, executions, and civilian deaths (usually mis-identified or collateral). I personally think that anger concerning pre-1969 stupidity shouldn't be used as an excuse for murdering people today. That's over 40 years ago, people - I bet most o' the PIRA members weren't even alive then!

    @xoxLucyMcxox No but had an Irish grand dad but I got most of my infor from the news documantarys and wikipedia.
    I also kept up to date on the BBC about the queens visit since it gave some back story to everything (I enjoy history)
    But we don't get taught anything about it in school we don't even learn we had an empire and that Ireland was part of it I grew thinking Britain has always been this year im 21 now and learned all this at 18 once I left school. I took history for GCSE
