For everyone who gets errors when installing the driver: Change Systemtime to 2014 ... I have no clue why, but it really works! Then there is no need for that whole disable driver signature step (Which in my case didnt worked anyway)
Here's how it worked when the MotioninJoy didn't show anything in the homepage: 1- Changed the date to 2014 2- Right click on MotioninJoy shortcut on the desktop "open file location" opened "drivers" folder, right click on "MijXinput.inf" and clicked install and ignored the error. 3- The mouse didn't work after installing the driver manually, so I unplugged the controller. 4- I reconnected the controller and annoyingly used the keyboard to navigate, then I uninstalled the controller after from Device Manager and removed its driver. 5- Restarted the PC then plugged the controller then it WORKED on Better DS3.exe as I followed the rest of instructions in the video. Thank you mmtus :)
Okay so, I’ve been using the Better DS3 tool for quite a while and it always works just fine. Sometimes it wont detect my controller, but nothing restarting the computer wont fix. But recently my computer updated. And after the update it seems to have fucked with my DS3 tool. It didn’t detect my controller, I restarted, it still didn’t detect my controller. so I decided the update must have re-enabled the driver signature enforcement that I had to disable in order for it to work the first time. So I disabled the driver signature enforcement again, and it’s still not working. And the weird thing is, my computer will detect the controller when I plug it in, but the DS3 tool wont. So at this point I have no solutions. Can someone please help me?

Guys I just found a solution for all of you, so basically for the past 3 weeks I've been using this really bad version of the DS3 tool because it's the only thing I could find that would work. It would glitch out my controller and press buttons and do things that I wasn't pressing or doing on the controller. But then I found a solution and this REALLY works. Okay so, I re-installed motioninjoy randomly, and it gave me the error code "0X-1ffffdb9" when I tried to install the driver. So I looked up a fix for the error code and I found an EASY solution, and it actually works: change the date on your pc to January 2013, then install the drivers, and you can change the date back after it's installed. I know it sounds crazy but trust me, it works.
Loky It will install the drivers for you, just download Motioninjoy, and click on driver manager at the top, then click the check boxes and hit install, just make sure your date is set to January 2013
So I open up Montioninjoy gamepad tool and it gives me some sort of internet thing, Not what you had. I am not sure what I am doing wrong I click on home and it just gives me to another website

go to the startup it tells u that restart the pc to apply these settings then just restart it going to open something like Bios just move with arrows and choose the one with disable idk what he said idk remember and it will restart then open it then u know what to do

Dude, for real now! your tutorial changed my gaming experience in a basic way. Just owning a ps3 and the option(tutorial) to connect that joystick and driving in gta5 for 2-3 hours was "gamechanging" Too bad that the MotionJoy doesn't work anymore.literary dead.

+Nadin Maulani If you're going to use the controller, don't unplug it. If you're done playing and you no longer need it, you can just unplug. But if you want to play wirelessly, you'll have to get a bluetooth usb.
You need to buy a bluetooth usb in a store or something, then just use the same software. You can't download it, you need to buy it. It's something you buy in a store, not something you can download :)
Jay Dee Its going to say windows smart screen prevented this app from starting. Then its going to say this program may harm your computer. Under that it should say more info. Click on those words that say more info. When you click on more info it should say run anyways.
Jay Dee Its hard to see but its there. If for some weird reason the words more info dont show up then you will have to disable more windows smart screen in settings but you should see the option

HI. I was at the part when you clicked at driver manager. I've ticked the boxes and clicked load driver. However, it says that installing this may be a virus and could harm the computer. Must I proceed?
At about 2 minutes in the video, when you connect your PS3 controller via the cable, you get the "connection sound" and then the MotionJoy tool changes to show the PS3 controller is connected. Mine doesn't do that second bit. My Win10 computer does the sound... The controller shows up in the connected devices in Windows... But MotionJoy refuses to see the controller. :( I did try the "Disable driver signature enforcement" thing but that didn't help. To fix this, I needed to set the Date of my PC back to 2013 and then the drivers installed.

Hello! do you have a spare moment to help me? I disabled drived signature enforcement, and it didn't work at all, tried using SCP, motionjoy, x360 and even tho they detect the controller and that it shows it should be working (e.g. green light in the x360 program), it doesn't detect when i press the buttons. Note: the lights of the controller go off and on for a while and after some time (around 1 minute) it just turns off. Any clue on what's the problem?

This may be a stupid question but I can't seem to find it anywhere. There are some games that accept my controller at its default settings (ex. rocket league). And I much prefer to use its default settings. I set up my controller like an xbox controller to use for Dark Souls PTD but I'm not sure how to change the controller back to normal.

Delay your PC DATE ONE year to 2014 then load drivers. put back to normal when loaded :) it will work

Try having the software open, THEN plugging in the controller to the cable. That is sometimes the reason it doesn't show up.

I really appreciate this. I had been having issues with DS3 for a while. This helped me solve the issue. I did have to also launch it as admin though.

HI. I was at the part when you clicked at driver manager. I've ticked the boxes and clicked load driver. However, it says that installing this may be a virus and could harm the computer. Must I proceed?
Is it normal that the program laggs 10sec? when I press vibrate it vibrates 10 seconds after the click, when I try to move the tab it moves slower
At about 2 minutes in the video, when you connect your PS3 controller via the cable, you get the "connection sound" and then the MotionJoy tool changes to show the PS3 controller is connected. Mine doesn't do that second bit.
My Win10 computer does the sound... The controller shows up in the connected devices in Windows... But MotionJoy refuses to see the controller. :(
I did try the "Disable driver signature enforcement" thing but that didn't help.
To fix this, I needed to set the Date of my PC back to 2013 and then the drivers installed.
I cant even use motioninjoy all these ads pop up and i cant get to the accual tool what do i do?
Do i have to go back Recovery>Advanced Setting... reset the "disable driver signature enforcement" setting after I had set the PS3 controller worked?

Hello! do you have a spare moment to help me? I disabled drived signature enforcement, and it didn't work at all, tried using SCP, motionjoy, x360 and even tho they detect the controller and that it shows it should be working (e.g. green light in the x360 program), it doesn't detect when i press the buttons. Note: the lights of the controller go off and on for a while and after some time (around 1 minute) it just turns off. Any clue on what's the problem?
what about an common issue "motioninjoy / ds3 tool has stopped working"? I was trying to delete files in appdata/motioninjoy/ds3tool but there was no files at all

This may be a stupid question but I can't seem to find it anywhere. There are some games that accept my controller at its default settings (ex. rocket league). And I much prefer to use its default settings. I set up my controller like an xbox controller to use for Dark Souls PTD but I'm not sure how to change the controller back to normal.

After i go in to driver manager and chose my controller and press load driver the red text come up, but when i go back to profiles i cant chose my controller because its not there, (when im in "driver manager" and see my controller, under the text MotionJoy there is a red X instead of a green checkmark) does anybodu know how to fix this issue?

Can you help me? Even if I connected game controller it not recognize my pad. And when i come to Driver Manager, i have error "CloufFront" - i cannot connect to the origin or something like this.
Can you connect more than 1? I tried the whole drivers and that all worked it when I opened up better DS3 that it didnt pick up that a controller was connected.

hmm is this still up to date?, because the motion joy gamepad tool by me give an error display, not connecting when installed
So i already did this, and it worked fine the first time. Now, when I open up MotionJoy, it loads up as if you opened a cached website. It doesn't show the controller download thing in MotionJoy's Device Manager. I have no idea what I did wrong
