Did you ever figure out how to test the ignition module under the flywheel on the 048 AV electronic saw? Im getting the same numbers on the old coil as the new coil. so I dont think the coil was the issue, however the piece under the flywheel is another matter. Thanks for any and all input you can offer up.
I built a 345 husqvarna that acts like that but its worst unrunable really and i cant seem to figure it out. So i put a new top end on it and a new set of seals and bearings so i installed everything fired it up and runs like theres a bad drag on it and the crank on the clutch side gets hot so i tore it all down again never seen anything out of the ordinary put it all back together and no difference not sure if its where i put ebay bearings in it or not but i cant run it
I got my MS 460 running again. I started with both jets 1 turn out. After tuning a bit I think the low is about 3/4? But that wasn't the problem with why the chain was turning at idle. I decided to check the clutch. I had 2 broken springs. When I put the needle nose on the 3rd spring to pull it off the end broke off that spring also. I quick went to the Stihl dealer before they closed and got a 3 spring kit and put them in. I think I got the saw fixed and can cut tomorrow and see how it goes. Thanks again for your ideas and help.
