Love this flip! But just a tip, when cutting wood on a miter saw that you want to be the same size, you can put your miter saw near a wall which would be the same length of the wood you want, that way you dont have to measure each cut with the first wood. You can just put your dowel against the wall cut away. I hope that makes sense. There are different ways you could do them. ☺️
Ah thanks so much! I'll try that next time 😉. I was a bit nervous because I only had the exact number of half round pieces and they needed to be exact lengths. I was wondering whether my saw would shift slightly and I'd end up with slight off sized pieces 👀... Things I worry about because I have no experience with miter saws 😜
@@DIYDalia oh yea, I definitely understand. I'm trying to get into woodworking myself and your videos are super inspiring! 🧡🧡 lots of love from Ethiopia!

Wow, this is amazing. I love how it turned out. How did the door open after the wooden dowels were installed? I would have loved to see the door part in the after. Regardless, It is beautiful.
I’m so impressed, that table is almost as beautiful as your name! Great job! I’m also so very inspired by your drive to not give up on finding the half dowels, that was so awesome to see, I was literally clapping for u girl!
Not usually one to comment, but I just wanted to say how much I enjoy the quality of your diys! You do such an incredible job, every single time! Keep up the awesome job!
Just a guess here 🙏🏼 But she lined up the dowels in such a way that she started at the edge of the door and went all around. For the dowels attached to the door, glue was only placed on the door itself, so the top and bottom is free of glue, then the last piece at the hinges of the door is removable, where the point of the door is swinging open. So it still works, but she needs to remove that one last piece each time she chooses to open it. Hope that made sense 😅
We have this exact table at my work and I have been eyeing it thinking it would be perfect for a DIY like this! Love the video, and so glad I found your channel!
This is so well done. You are so chill. So real. I am thrilled you are getting sponsors, growing your channel and upping your skills. Great work. Lonefox level... AND you showed a product I didn’t know about. Ok, glue.
It looks so good I need to do this! How does the door work tho if the pieces are glued? I couldn't figure that part out. Did you only glue those pieces the length of the door?
very inspirational, i am making a small table to place in my living room - my kitchen doesn't have the space ... live in an apartment and this idea is on my list
Wow it looks amazing! Now you have been living with it a couple of months. How is the epoxy been holding up? Can you put hot cups and plates on the table without damaging it? Would love to do this for my table as well
Amazing flip. Looks so good and the techniques you used were so well explained. Didn’t see you actually opening the door in the final shots, does it work as you had expected?
So glad you liked it! Good question! I was wracking my brain trying to figure out a solution for this hahah! I showed in the video that I attached the last piece of wood (that covers the hinge) using command strips and I did this so I could pull it off when I want to open the door.
Beautiful! I was mad for marble back when I had my design company in the '90s and faux marbled many pieces of furniture for clients. I didn't use the resin though - what a difference! Great work!

Did you do a follow up video review for how it held with heat, moisture?
I want to see it with the door open! That was SUCH a cool feature!
I think this is your best DIY .....the table looks High end on the showroom floor table!
Fantastic job👍🏽👏🏽🤜🏽🤛🏽

very cool!! serious question - how does the door swing open when its covered with the wood pieces? or does it not open anymore?
Just a guess here 🙏🏼 But she lined up the dowels in such a way that she started at the edge of the door and went all around. For the dowels attached to the door, glue was only placed on the door itself, so the top and bottom is free of glue, then the last piece at the hinges of the door is removable, where the point of the door is swinging open. Such a good deal on the lumber... crazy talk how much dowels are

love how lowkey ghetto this started off because I would've done the same (no gloves using a ruler etc LOL) but the end result is stunning
Hahah thank you - glad you appreciated that! Just keeping it real 😬❤️
I would seal the dowels so easier to clean it. Looks amazing
The table is gorgeous!! What a beautiful job you did. I really love the subtle veining. One of the prettiest faux marble tabletops I've seen. ❤
