    I like it.
My husband suggested putting POP or other heavy things in the bottom bowl for more stability.

Hi Dalia!!! THIS was my absolute inspiration to make a side table for my living room. I have a picture of it if you would like to see it. I also used a slightly larger pizza pan and added a 15" circular wood slab on top of the pan and stained it. I also used rocks in the bottom to weigh it down and a stove cover on the bottom for a base. I painted mine black with a gold shimmer. THANK YOU THANK YOU for your creativity!!! Everyone that sees my table loves it!

If I'm doing a resin piece coating or working on other none porous surfaces, I give it a sand to rough up the surface. This ensures the medium that you're using has something to grip. I'm not big on sanding, but it will save a little bit of money with not having to invest in tapes etc. Love how this turned out, totally amazing and you'd never know it is bowls and pizza pans

You have to use drywall mud with drywall tape for it to stick. A really good tool is a rubber spatula to help spread the plaster out and around

You've to prime the surface first, then apply POP, when ever I use POP, I used my hands and sometimes I mix it with spackle and glue.

I have worked with plaster a little bit during a home reno project and the tape is not really supposed to stick without the plaster. When I did my project, puting up a new wall, I kind of had to stick the tape on with the plaster if that makes sense. I didn't use that exact kind, but I think that's generally how it is supposed to work. Hope that helps! Great job on the table 😊😊

This provided a LOT of bit of inspiration..along with so many of your other videos. I like your style and your creative process and your DIYs are A1. I’m doing a bedroom makeover for the first time. I haven’t actually given my bedroom any attention my whole adult/married life (almost 6 years haha) so I’m excited and have some of your DIYs in my list of projects! 😊😅 wooden dowel vase, wooden snake arch, this table, and I plan to frame some canvas art with the wood pieces from Home Depot like you did. Really enjoy your channel and your DIYs.

Hiya! I considered making something similar out of Quickcrete but this looks much lighter. My only concern is durability. If this got knocked over by a dog or a kid, what do you think would happen? Would it break into shards? Or would it stay together with just a small chip? Just wondering because I think this is a better way to do it than to try to sculpt concrete.

I love to see your process. The drywall tape was pretty smart! I have seen a couple of other you tubers make tables in similar way but had used spray paint. I have seen the plaster concrete type paint mixture on vases and that may have been easier but your table looks awesome. 😁

WoW Dalia you truly are a creative genius! I’m feeling incredibly inspired and proud of you. I realize that you just posted this video, but I think that you would have completed this project at least a few days ago. So I’m curious if after having/using this side table you would change anything? Suggest a different medium? How much weight do you think it comfortably holds? Is it sturdy? So for asking so many questions. I’m asking because I would love to attempt this project but have 3 kids and am slightly worried that it would be easily damaged or topple over. If you suggest that it might not be kid friendly no worries 😉 I will just attempt to recreate this a different time. Thank you so very much Dalia

Be careful when working with plaster of paris. You shouldn't work with it with your bare hands. Once it hardens and dries it becomes very hot and can cause burns. There have been serious injuries with people who have made plaster casts, who even had to have digits or limbs amputated.
