Starkiller finds Luke Skywalker on Hoth and turns him to the Dark Side in order to save his friends. Starkiller vs Luke Skywalker! Starkiller then decides to make luke skywalker his sith apprentice! This was the DLC for the dark side ending of Star Wars The Force Unleashed!

He almost was recanonized in Rebels as an inquisitor. Dave Filoni went through multiple ideas, and Sam Witer, voice actor for Starkiller, the Son, and Maul, was very enthusiastic. However, Filoni could not make Starkiller fit as an Inquisitor, partially since his legendary power had to be so scaled back that it would not have been him. Starkiller and his story did not fit in, and Sam understood it.

Fun fact: In the Endor DLC of Force Unleashed II, you fight Jedi Leia, and she references this, saying she ended up being the one to train in the force after Luke was defeated on Hoth.
She also super coincidentally has the same yellow saber color and very similar white robes to Rey at the end of Episode 9, which came out 8 years later

Actually, she implies Luke was killed by the way she said "fell". So it's probably not that he was turned to the Dark Side, but just flat out killed by the Star-killer clone. It wouldn't really make sense for the Starkiller clone to turn Luke since the Starkiller clone wouldn't have cared about overthrowing the emperor unless Vader ordered it.

People have to remember something about Starkiller beating Luke Skywalker and turning him to the dark side. One, Luke was still learning to be a jedi and was never fully trained by obi wan and Yoda like we see him in return of the Jedi , because of this Lukes lightsaber skills were not at their peak and fell short to Starkiller who is an experienced duelist who killed Vader himself. Two is that with Obi Wan being killed so soon and not learning the truth about his father he would end up not learning the lessons that he had learned when facing vader twice, lessons that would have kept him from temptation to the dark side.

I feel like these scenes perfectly illustrate that it's not just Starkiller who is insanely powerful, but that ALL force powers in Force Unleashed are turned up to 11. In the movies, Luke struggled to pull his lightsaber out of a mound of snow. Here, he rips a steel panel off a wall and unleashes some incredible force powers by giving into the dark side.
The same goes for every other force user in this game. I wish people would realize this and stop whining about "sTaRkIlLeR oP".

Yeah. That would have been awesome if you could team up with evil Luke to overthrow the emperor. Maybe have it where the final boss ends up being Leia after training with Yoda or something where she might turn Luke back and the final final boss being a Leia and Luke team up against you.
as cool as it would be, it's a story that has been told in a few ways already. You just swap out one or two characters and have the same plotline of apprentice and master (usually vader) confront the emperor and overthrow him. The apprentice then kills the master. It's been done with Luke and Leia as well.
We did. In TFU2 Sith DLC. Starkiller basically ensured the empire would continue to rule uncontested.

Starkiller turned basically into vader. He looked very different in the dark ending but now he has a cloak like vader.
The Emperor said it best. Starkiller was just a tool like Vader was. Plus, Starkiller probably considered Vader like a father since he didn't really remember his father, and at this point, probably cared more about Vader than the Emperor. You can tell him and the Emperor do not get along by their brief interaction.

The original concept had the central hero be "Starkiller" and is present in several of the early drafts of the script from the 70's, enough so that Ralph McQuarrie even did some artwork of both a male and female version of Starkiller depending on which draft was being worked on at the time. Eventually the Starkiller versions would become Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia, with the Starkiller name being changed to Skywalker due to the aggressive connotations the name Starkiller has despite being the heroic lead character. However the name Starkiller has stuck around all these years in various pieces of Star Wars media as a tribute to that original name. Bendak Starkiller in Knights of the Old Republic. Galen Marek's Starkiller here. Starkiller Base in Force Awakens. All these are references to that original name.

You gotta wonder about Obi-wan's dedication to lying to Luke in this. He told Luke that Vader killed his father in this timeline despite the fact it would NOT at all have been hard to just say "Hey, your father, one of the two most powerful beings in the galaxy was killed by Starkiller." I mean, in A New Hope he says Vader destroyed his father. It wouldn't have been hard and it would have been far more true to just say Starkiller killed your father. It's not like Starkiller was trying to hide the fact.

Then easily beat Vader and proceded to beat Palpatine in force using. Absolutely disgrace of a character, unless you are a 8 year old kid u understand his story is just stupid
