It's funny because mace windu would never do that as he trained himself in the dark side of the force being one of the only Jedi to while sticking to the light side, understanding after killing palpatine that it needed to be while keeping his emotions in check and staying to the light

Not so sure about the Mace turning evil thing, I thought his whole thing was he can use the dark side of the force and not be tempted using Vapaad. He's like one of the only jedi that can do that, so I find the ending really hard to believe but it's all in good fun so I'm just gonna try to not take it seriously.
No Jedi is immune to corruption. Mace killed using rage. Many Jedis who gave in to rage while fighting a Sith becomes a Sith themselves. Any Jedi who does not do things the Jedi way becomes a Sith. The way how Mace kills was he was fighting a Sith using his rage. Don't forget that Palpatine feeds on negative emotions. If Mace kills without showing mercy, that is hot Palpatine get his own way. Due to Papatine's negative influence, once turning dark, it is hard to resist that power. Anyone who thinks they can temporarily use dark powers ended up stuck committing to that dark power. Killing a defenseless opponent already counts as a sin. Committing 1 sin can turn any Jedi dark. Don't forget that even Dooku used to be a Jedi but became a Sith. Sith Lords do have a background of being a Jedi once.

Yeah, I enjoyed this video, but feels like Mace was corrupted way too easily. For Anakin it made sense because it was built up over time with all of the bad stuff happening to him. With Mace it was kinda like....."Killed the Emperor. Welp, time to be evil I guess" *shoulder shrug*.
Mace had been devoted to the light and used dark and light side abilities. He had been fighting a war for how long? While knowing the dark side of the force is growing and clouding the vision. Then he finds a break and thinks he found the dark lord. Takes 3 top masters with him only to see those 3 cut down before him. His brothers in the light to a person with such dominance over the force. Mace has never fought someone like the emperor or someone with the emotional weight. If it was his feelings that helped him bet the emperor then those feelings should have increased to help combat the emperors combat skills. Lots of different trauma occurring at once seems like a good recipe for someone snapping even under normal situations.
Wait, if they save Qui Gon, there's a high probability Anakin wouldn't marry Padme bc he wouldn't be desperate for affection. Then there would be no Luke or Leia.
Master Windu excelled at controling his emotions. He literally got on the line betwwen the dark and the light to duel with the lightsaber, but he managed to stay on the light. He would never turn to the dark side.
Anakin and Luke adventuring together is the best idea ever!! I love the humor, the music, the animation, and Mace being consumed by the power of the dark side! Can’t wait for the next episode :) good job!!

I think, in the end, he regrets certain things. Likely the incident with the younglings, probably thinking he killed Ahsoka for a time (When they reunite as Vader, for a short time, she alone is enough to lessen the influence of the dark side), Padme. Obi Wan, maybe. Considering how his ghost appears at Obi Wans side. I think he would regret more that he stayed a part of the order rather than leave.
There is a book about Vader mere weeks after he was rebuilt in his suit. It goes through his regrets and mindset during the early days of the Empire. Interesting read, but yes he does regret killing the Jedi, but he only doubles down on his decision, and just believes he had no choice, he was backed into a corner and that they betrayed HIM. Very large complex of “it’s everyone else’s fault, not mine.” Also, Vader states he regretted the perfectionist side of himself he had put up when he was a Jedi and felt resentful towards the other Jedi whenever he deviated from this image. As he continues purging Jedi as a new Sith Lord, Palpatine just plays into this and tells him to let the resentment build and give him power, and so when he kills Jedi as Vader he’s just a huge rage machine.
I think he regrets a little more than that, but to be honest I would say he doesn't regret the jedi as whole (just the specific ones he was close to). In the end I can't blame him, the Jedi as a whole were a dogmatic group that held together a corrupt system (being corrupted themselves in the process). He was ultimately right that they needed to go (although his methodology could use a little work)
@@someguy4853 Yes, its Qui Gonn. He was the father figure Anakin so desperately needed, and its kind of been confirmed that if he hadn't died and had trained Anakin he would not have turned. Qui Gonn is my favourite Jedi because he followed his conscience even if that meant breaking the rules of the Jedi Order, always spoke his mind, even if that upset the council and was true to himself.
@@englishlady9797 Qui'Gon is also my favorite! He is a truer Jedi than even Yoda (until Yoda Empire - ST after he's had time to reflect). Even though he has the Medichlorine Count of an average Jedi Knight, he's so strong in the living force (something very few Jedi knew) that he rivals those of Duku, (who he trained) , Mace Windu, and even Anakin. If he had trained Anakin, his "grey Jedi" ways would have kept Anakin from turning to the dark side. Obi'Wan was like a brother. But Anakin lost his mother and needed a father. Having a father, Anakin wouldn't have had his attachment issues to Padme and could have accepted her death (which would have ironically kept her alive.)

Mace had been devoted to the light and used dark and light side abilities. He had been fighting a war for how long? While knowing the dark side of the force is growing and clouding the vision. Then he finds a break and thinks he found the dark lord. Takes 3 top masters with him only to see those 3 cut down before him. His brothers in the light to a person with such dominance over the force. Mace has never fought someone like the emperor or someone with the emotional weight. If it was his feelings that helped him bet the emperor then those feelings should have increased to help combat the emperors combat skills. Lots of different trauma occurring at once seems like a good recipe for someone snapping even under normal situations.

Master Windu excelled at controling his emotions. He literally got on the line betwwen the dark and the light to duel with the lightsaber, but he managed to stay on the light. He would never turn to the dark side.

I think, in the end, he regrets certain things. Likely the incident with the younglings, probably thinking he killed Ahsoka for a time (When they reunite as Vader, for a short time, she alone is enough to lessen the influence of the dark side), Padme. Obi Wan, maybe. Considering how his ghost appears at Obi Wans side. I think he would regret more that he stayed a part of the order rather than leave.

There is a book about Vader mere weeks after he was rebuilt in his suit. It goes through his regrets and mindset during the early days of the Empire. Interesting read, but yes he does regret killing the Jedi, but he only doubles down on his decision, and just believes he had no choice, he was backed into a corner and that they betrayed HIM. Very large complex of “it’s everyone else’s fault, not mine.” Also, Vader states he regretted the perfectionist side of himself he had put up when he was a Jedi and felt resentful towards the other Jedi whenever he deviated from this image. As he continues purging Jedi as a new Sith Lord, Palpatine just plays into this and tells him to let the resentment build and give him power, and so when he kills Jedi as Vader he’s just a huge rage machine.
I think he regrets a little more than that, but to be honest I would say he doesn't regret the jedi as whole (just the specific ones he was close to).
In the end I can't blame him, the Jedi as a whole were a dogmatic group that held together a corrupt system (being corrupted themselves in the process). He was ultimately right that they needed to go (although his methodology could use a little work)

@@someguy4853 Yes, its Qui Gonn. He was the father figure Anakin so desperately needed, and its kind of been confirmed that if he hadn't died and had trained Anakin he would not have turned.
Qui Gonn is my favourite Jedi because he followed his conscience even if that meant breaking the rules of the Jedi Order, always spoke his mind, even if that upset the council and was true to himself.
@@englishlady9797 Qui'Gon is also my favorite! He is a truer Jedi than even Yoda (until Yoda Empire - ST after he's had time to reflect). Even though he has the Medichlorine Count of an average Jedi Knight, he's so strong in the living force (something very few Jedi knew) that he rivals those of Duku, (who he trained) , Mace Windu, and even Anakin.
If he had trained Anakin, his "grey Jedi" ways would have kept Anakin from turning to the dark side. Obi'Wan was like a brother. But Anakin lost his mother and needed a father. Having a father, Anakin wouldn't have had his attachment issues to Padme and could have accepted her death (which would have ironically kept her alive.)
