Muslims, Christians, and Jews (as a minority) lived in harmony for centuries. Sure they had their moments but when the British took over, Europe saw an opportunity to keep a Western foothold in the region.

What about before Britain Arabs and jews lived for hundreds of years together on harmony Christians too during the Ottoman empire...... Isreal used the wrong pretext of a land for a people for a people without a land... How many Palestinians had to leave during the nakba? The zionist did not have to invade and take over... And establish Jewish state.

    • @Chloe.zyxwvu

Harmony? The Jews were exiled from their land causing a global diaspora. It wasn’t until a global indifference against Jewish people during WWII resulted in the extinction of millions of people . Religious divides continued to castigate populations and drive Jewish persons from their homeland over thousands of years. Even in response to WWI Britain and Egypt attempted to create a homeland for Jewish people, but Palestine remained indignant. Palestine wasn’t on the map until Israel was. The war is not over land, it is over ideology. It is genocide. It is non acceptance of anyone who doesn’t believe what you believe. The Arab occupation of the Middle East tolerates antisemitism but makes feelings and speech against Islam a crime. There is open oppression of other religions, gender, and sexuality. Today, bordering Middle Eastern countries will not accept Palestinian refugees because of Hamas’s control of Gaza. They do not want the same threats targeting Israel to take over their countries, but this is not spoken of. If Israel were to not exist, rights for many people would simply vanish and the reach of a totalitarian brainwashing would permeate over the entire ME.

The land was almost empty in the 1800 and even 1900, less than 500,000. Read for example Mark Twain book, The Innocents Abroad, who visited the in 1867 and described how poor was the land, almost no trees, swamps and desert, and how he walked 3 days in the galilee without seeing a person. The Jews immigrated legally and bought all the land they used. They brought prosperity and also many Arabs immigrate to work there from all the Arab countries. You can not find a single place where Arabs had to leave their home3 before the 1948 war, when they didn't accept the UN resolution and attacked Israel with the support of 7 Arab armies.

i think the biggest issue is that the hundreds of thousands Arabs who lost their homes were never compensated ever since the Balfour Declaration in 1917.
and the people claiming there was less than 500k civilians, the region itself was not even that large. For comparison, my country, Malaysia (the peninsular part) had a population of less than a million and our peninsula is 22x the size of the region of Palestine. During the british administration, we even had extra lands which was lost in the Anglo-Siamese treaty but the population was small nevertheless
this was not just the case for my nation. a lot of other nations had a low and slow growing population despite covering land size exceeding 100,000km2
ayutthaya with a size bigger than modern day thailand had a population barely reaching a million and the year was beyond the 18th century.
the reason why no arabs really wanted to move into the region is basic, there's no really any religious significance of that region aside of historical sites which were not to be messed with.
to sum it up, 500,000 civilians in a place with bad weather, no religious significance aside of the people is a fitting population size for the region.
and since not even arab quraisy tribesmen want to move there it shows how long the locals lived there and kept the old mosques aging more than hundreds of years old clean and standing. Deny all you want, Palestinians have lived there for such a long time.
the jews had conflicts with the romans, not the leftover palestinians. they are not to blame for the lost of their home which became the home to many Palestinians

This was a nice thank you to the Brits for giving them someone else's country! Then in 1948 they thanked the Palestinians for letting them in when no one else wanted them in the entire world, this thank you was a massacre on April 9, 1948 where more than 110 Palestinian men, women and children were slaughtered on one of the most heinous crimes carried out by zionist forces, until the recent genocide in Gaza and the West Bank.

this video is missing a lot of truth. Palestine was filled with Muslims, Christians AS WELL AS Jews and they used to live in harmony as if religion never existed to divide them. When the European Jews fled the Holocaust and came to Palestine, the Palestinians welcomed them into their land. Palestinians never had a conflict with jews, they had a problem with the zionists who were taking pieces of their lands one after the other. Let's make this clear. How can you separate two groups of people, one into a religion and the other into an ethnicity. An ethnicity that may contain various religious INCLUDING jews. The UN did not divide Palestine into independent jewish and Arab states. Because when you divide a country into two groups, you don't kill the vast majority of one. When the state of Israel has been established in 1948, 1.3M Palestinians did not just flee and were not just driven out of war, they were also mostly KILLED by Israel. Why has this word not been used in the video? It was not a "division", the correct terms are illegal settlement, colonisation and t*rrorism. This channel has the responsibility to do its job properly and it is not. This misinformation is pulling people away from the truth and confusing them. Be careful of the media you consume.

Prior to 1947, there was only an informal area (region) called Palestine. But, between 1700 BC and 1946 BCE, there was never a formal (world recognized) state or country called Palestine. The area was inhabited by independent Arab and Jewish landowners, farmers, and tribes. Yes, Arab landowners and settlers outnumbered Jewish settlers 3:1. Out of the informal region called Palestine, in 1947, the UN created a region to what would be called the The Israel Nation in 1948. Again, historically, there never was and still is no formal country called Palestine.

    • @gloriousblobber9647
      @gloriousblobber9647 Год назад +1

Palestine was already a documented region and their people are confirmed descendents of the area (Arabs), although you'll still have people claiming that they're mostly genetically descendent from the Philistines, however that is not the truth. There was never a need for a formal recognized country of Palestine until the tensions between the Zionists and them, in which the Zionists were backed by the U.S and still are. The destruction of the USS Liberty for example, was even covered up by the U.S President as a "mistake" even though there are written accounts by many of the surviving crew members about the intentions of Israel at the time.
In other words, many rulers like the Ottomans never found a need to give Palestinians a " formal" state but nobody cared until blood was shed and the conflict had started. Jewish people had always lived there, that's true. But it was not until the Zionists came that tensions would escalate and conflict would erupt.

But now , they are only Arab muslims or identify as Arabs and they don't reflect the diverse pre Israel population of Palestine. It doesn't matter what genetic mix they have. Does anyone see, if the Turks did not side with the nazis this whole situation we see in modern times may never have happened, if they just said we are staying neutral it would not be as it is today at least in one sense, that is Britain taking control of the whole area, as physics and logic teaches us, it takes two hands to clap, I wonder how many support conflict when it does not involve them and just to stir things up, that too is no better than conflict.

where did you take your history lessons from? it was the german empire the turks sided with not the german reich. and it was impossible for the turks to keep out of the war because of politics. please do some research before commenting

Time travelling ottomans you say? Interesting concept. However history doesn’t quite support it. The video also fails to mention that Jews lived there as well when the British took over, and after Israel declared independence it invited all the native arabs to stay and be a welcome part of the nation.
They chose instead hate, and the rest is, as they say, history.

Jews were always backed and funded by billionaires and the British empire and now they’re funded by America and all of Europe while the Palestinians aren’t even backed by their own neighboring Arab countries, look at Jewish areas in Ukraine and Europe they’re complete dumpsters, brain dead colonial and genocide apologist

There is a little propaganda here. They infer the the Jerusalem station and trains were built by the Palestinians. It was developed by a Jew. Yosef Navon. Likewise, the power plant, and most of the country was developed by the Jews. The Palestianians were a very small poor group with only 2% able to read in 1900.

“Palestinians were a very small poor group…”??? 😂😂😂
The biggest ethnic group in Palestine was SMALL? No sorry, the largest group in Palestine was in fact Palestinian - Muslim. Arab and Christian Palestinians. And yes, some Palestinians were Jews. The recently arrived European settlers were the small group. Read a book sometime.
But where do you get your history from, the propaganda arm of occupation government? And does this rule you’re implying mean that if a Jew built it the land around it can be stolen and the inhabitants murdered?
That seems to be how Zionist colonialism works. Zionist colonialism worked essentially the same as racist colonialism worldwide. Except until the 19th century when Europeans invading “inferior” foreign countries and stealing land to set up a supremacist settler colony was generally frowned upon.

Absolutely not!, they lived in harmony in most arab countries. Stop bullshitting. Trying to change history. Ask older Israelis how they lived in Morocco or Iraq. They always have good stories. Zionism started to change this for them. Also, Arab Jews entered later in Israel because they needed more Jews to fill up the place. Similar to nazis, are you crazy, I am waiting for the moment when Israelis will blame the arab world for the holocaust.
