    Do you think humanity will achieve immortality in your lifetime?

    • @MH-et5sn
      @MH-et5sn 2 года назад +65

      Hopefully it doesn't. It could very well lead to a tyranny of posthumans over humans. Also, the thing that makes life so precious is the fact that it's finite. Remove the urgency and watch modern life become even more devoid of meaning.

      We are already immortal as consciousness. But the body is subject to the universal laws of decay. Your body will die along with your ego self. Your body is just food that you ate, it’s not you. You are not your thoughts either, those are also just things you have gathered from outside. Who are you? You are definitely confused about what you are, but do you even know who you are?

      We’re already immortal! Our real life begins in the Hereafter, this life is but a short exam. A “simulation” if you want to call it that. Nothing wrong with trying to extend this life if the intention is to serve God more, but death is inevitable and required for our souls to transition from this world to the next.

    Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) show that the more (unhealed) trauma, the shorter your life expectancy. Emotion is the most powerful aspect of health.
    Our hearts are literally radio transmitters, and the signal is modulated by our emotional state. That signal impacts the genetic expression of every strand of DNA in your body.
    How much trauma you are carrying can be easily revealed by measuring your Heart Rate Variability (HRV). As you age, your HRV reduces...unless you heal your wounds...especially the wounds that most everyone views as normal. Most of the emotional trauma you experienced happened before you were even conscious of yourself as an individual (conception through about 18 months of age).
    Heal those early wounds, and you will easily live for hundreds of years. Heal all of your wounds and you will have an indefinite lifespan...no nutritional supplements required.

    • @jessecortez9449
      @jessecortez9449 2 года назад +2

      Unresolved trauma is something that these biohackers never look into. They only want to add numbers to the overall lifespan instead of improving the overall quality of that lifespan. The more I've faced and healed my past trauma the more I feel alive.

    • @Isildur94
      @Isildur94 2 года назад +2

      So true. I’m 27 and I’ve got unhealed trauma. My connection to my body is minimal and my posture is bad. I’m trying to heal it through spiritual work, which I found out recently is the right way. Mind and body are definitely linked together.

    • @Remag123
      @Remag123 2 года назад +4

      We specialize for reason. Everyone can’t do EVERYTHING. If the people you call biohackers don’t focus on trauma… well then YOU can do that and educate the rest of us with your findings .
      Also, I don’t understand why everything has to be “either or” we can literally apply both approaches and live healthier lives since both approaches are important 🤷🏾‍♂️

    • @ScottCousland
      @ScottCousland 2 года назад +2

      @@Remag123 I also believe in using both, but I see the “nutraceuticals” as training wheels that we will eventually discard because our highly efficient metabolisms will be able to provide the energy for our bodies to manufacture everything needed for perfect health…for as long as you want to stay on this rock! 😁

      If I’m not mistaken a female body has a certain amount of eggs that if don’t get fertilized the body releases each month with period. Once there is no more eggs there’s Nothing to release and here comes the menopause. That’s my understanding but I might be wrong.

    Let's also not factor out that in order to live longer, you need something to live FOR. Family / community and the like. Studies about the elderly people in Okinawa (amongst the oldest on the planet) show clearly that without their strong community, the "old folks" (who appear to strikingly youthful well into their 90s) would just have withered and died. Instead they meet up regularily, sing together, cook together etc. It's heartwarming to watch. (forgot where i saw the documentary thou...)

    I've been on track with diet for about 4-5 years. I cold press Kale, Spinach, carrots, and celery, with moringa powder most days, followed by 1 meal around noon every day. It has transformed my life, I feel 25 at 59 years old. I do 100 pushups every other day, and at least 50 curls (20lbs) per arm other days. My main issue is drinking a lot of beer every day too, and I smoke cigarettes, and marijuana. I simply won't lose belly fat as long as I keep on with the beer. I do believe aging is controllable.

    I like fasting but was told by my MD and naturopath that women during child-bearing years should not fast more than 16 hours because of it's detrimental effects on our reproductive hormones. I can say that when I did OMAD I felt good but never got my period. So it's unfortunate that women cannot take advantage (to the same degree as men) in this anti-aging tactic.
    I'm also curious how Dr. Sinclair is able to meet his daily protein requirements on a mostly plant-based diet, because common plant sources of protein (pea, legumes, lentils, chickpeas, etc.) still don't have as much protein per gram as meat sources.
    Lastly, where does one get access to metformin in Canada?

    I have found that if you commit to only breathing through your nose, even when you work out, you will learn a few things. Also it would help to read “BREATH” by James Nestor. While doing a hundred jumping jacks in a row keep your mouth closed. At the end when you need O2 NOW use your diaphragm and intercostals together to fill your longs as full as possible. Then hold your breath for three seconds ( count) then exhale slowly. Repeat I have found I can have a quick recovery and breath normal after 30 seconds. I can now do 50 push-ups strait away without opening my mouth.
