    Great information.David Sinclair is wonderful. since listening and reading David book I have been intermittent fasting 12 to 18 hours a day i exercise with weights plus yoga. i keep very active. i only eat berries nuts fruit plus little fish all organic I drink vast amount or fresh clean water i shower daily hot and cold. i have resvertrol NMN in the morning. I have recently taken a biological swab test with a company in the UK as Inside Tracker can not offer tests in the UK and i am so grateful to David Sinclair to say i have my results back and i am now 58, which is 10 years younger. I still can not believe it I am now working towards a further 10 years off my age. Thank you DR David Sinclair :)

    I’ve fasted for 21 days. It changed my life. I worked up to it for 8 years doing 7 and 12 day fasts. My doctor and fasting teacher has done 40 day fast and he’s in his 80s and can do 1000 push-ups. No joke. So it’s not just the drugs this knowledge has been around since ancient times people just don’t listen

      Wait but fasting for too long is not recommended either, autophagy occurs from the third or fourth day, after a week of fasting the body is supposed to begin to consume the muscle.

    I sent my Primary Care Physician a video of David Sinclair discussing longevity and Metformin and asked for a prescription. He sent me a prescription shortly thereafter then prescribed it for himself. 🙂 I also take Berberine as well which has similar effects but enhances the effects of both when taken together.

      The thing is is that some people do almost everything right for their health and they still die younger than the guy who has been eating junk food daily, drinking beer daily, is depressed and never sleeps. Now that isn't the norm, but it definitely happens a lot regardless, and it shows you unpredictable aging is and our ability to try to increase our lifespan. Aging is just a very very complicated thing, and it seems as if we just don't have a lot of control of how long we're going to live, very very little control even if we do everything properly for our health. All these things mentioned usually don't increase your life span a whole lot, if they work then it's usually a small increase from a normal life that's not even that healthy. I think what they are more likely do, and what's important is is that you will generally feel a lot better living a healthy life than a person that isn't doing that. You will likely live longer, but you will have a much better chance of enjoying yourself and being a happier person during your live which is very valuable. I think that's what living a healthy life is going to do, rather than increasing your life span ton, which it probably will increase it a little bit, but aging and lifespan is just a very very unpredictable thing.

    I love how he says it like it is and calls it out as a nasty, debilitating disease. I am fed up with being gaslighted by people who seem to think that ageing is some wonderful blessing. WTF is wrong with people?! There are those who will say you're a terrible person for saying this and try to make you feel guilty, but ageing is not a desirable state, no matter what the pro ageing brigade want us to believe

      I couldn't possibly agree more with you. I've been treated like a coward and condescended to my whole life, for not wanting to slowly rot and eventually die. Yes, aging is natural. The same way childhood leukemia and cancer are. Doesn't mean that we shouldn't fight it.

      I totally agree 👍, I have had to have three joint replacements since I was 50, am now 64 even after eating well and exercising my whole life, I'm just over it. Only young people think others should age "gracefully "...try it.

    I’m a diabetic. My doctor at VA took me off metformin. Why? Because it was preventing me from getting weight gain. Which was a big problem for me. I have an endocrinologist.

    In Albania we still make the Yogurt at home from fresh milk. My father eats every day a big amount of this Yogurt
    It is simple actually
    We buy fresh milk from farmers boil it sterilize it and we mix it with a little bit of Yogurt we buy in the supermarket but it has to bo a good one with local recipe

    Thanks, Jason. In my work, we've found aging caused by normal gut bacteria that turn parasitic. That is why aging is so effected by diet. Patents by the end of 2023.

    I've been intermittent fasting for over a year and lost 35 to 40 pounds. I eat once a day, sometimes twice. I can even go 2 days easily if I wanted which I've occasionally done.

    Bryan Johnson said recently there is a high chance he could live forever. He has extended his life by 31 years, and reversed it by 5 years. That will be remembered for centuries to come, and Bryan could be there to see it unlike most people.

    I Strongly Believe it's Mainly our genes that determine how we Age. I have a friend who has been fasting for years. She's Four years older than I am. She's been mistaken for my Mother several times. I eat lots of biscuits. But mostly heathy foods. My doctor says if he could bottle my blood he would be a millionaire.

      Genes are the gun and your environment is what pulls the trigger of that gun. Your environment dictates what genes are going to be turned on or stay dormant. High levels of trauma and stress are the biggest factors of aging and plays a role in how we age. I can guarantee that your friend has experienced a lot of environmental trauma be it family, work, relationships, etc. A lot of people think it’s genes but genes literally play less than 50% of a role in our aging and health. Environment is what dictates it all.

      Almost anyone can (should?) Work up to a 3 day fast if they eat their #properhumandiet for a couple of months first. #meathealsus #fast4health DONT FAST TOO OFTEN you will mess up your delicate balance of hormones

    I’d like to know the truth about Resveratrol: is it good for you or is it potentially dangerous? Why did I have a very obvious, repeatable result from taking resveratrol?… I never expected any visible results from taking it but I began to see that it was indeed responsible for increased endurance in a strenuous “ yoga with weights” class during which we increased heart rate and worked our muscles to their limit. I tested it over and over again. I stopped taking resveratrol because of the negativity around it, but I also had to stop taking the class!

      What negativity you got from Reveratrol may I learn more from you? How dangerous is it? What dose you were on?
      I look younger every am bit by bit with 500 mg dose 2 tiny spoons. Heart palpitations are less some days jump to take my beta blocker. I go to the gym daily most days & walk slowly.
      Fast 20/24 eat every lunch but began to eat white clean meat again like Chicken/ Turkey cause losing muscle freaking me. A little goat cheese also or parmesan cheese.
      Hate to be vegan. Now forgetting more. Hope to Pick up quickly at age 65+.
      Didn't know our Scientists divorced. Unless he is honest with his work with us cause we trusted him & began to take his advice molecules from his book 2 years ago. This interview is years ago😅😅😅 But I don't mind plus he isn't popular anymore like he used to be😢If he has a new family he will be following to be more powerful in the finance world & does it affect his honest work now? no idea as a big fan of his work.

      Isolated approaches also don't work well, a elderly friend of mine trying to compete against Kipchoge has to take NMN, Apigenin. Quercetin and CoQ10 and does monthly FMD cycle to kill immunosenescent cells.

    David says he has been working on longevity and taking supplements for the last 20 years (study started even much before) and he also said when he checked his biological age when he was 48, it was 58, 10 years older than his chronological age.

    I am wondering! Wouldn't diet have an effect on aging, for food is medicine. The right food is beneficial. A side note is that we won't live forever and it is the Spirit that gives life. Therefore, how much clean water is consumed per day, sugar intake can be futile, grains, cereals, bread, need to be monitored. Whole foods are important not to mention the lifestyle and society's influence to one's life.

    I anticipate a lot of religious people will say that God or Allah has determined a person's natural lifespan. Religion helped people cope with death from aging, but if they no longer have to cope it could be an impediment to progress where people prefer the cope to having nothing to cope from. Put dysentery back into the water to give meaning to life through gut suffering!

    No one ever thinks about what impact human longevity will have on the planet and resources. Its a very narrow individual perspective to be wanting to prolong one’s life but the truth is that if human lives continue to be prolonged, this will likely lead to further destruction of natural habitat (mostly through agriculture and industry as there will be so many of us), annihilation of other species to meet our ever growing needs and ultimately more resource wars. There just isn’t enough on earth to sustain that many people living long and its not good for the planet nor the humans. We should take a more global perspective

    When was this video filmed? It’s more than 4 days ago like the date says. David Sinclair is now divorced and has a partner - and in this video he references his wife. And he has been tracking his glucose for a long time by now - not just 2 months ago.

      @@vivian3371 Nope. Not true / accurate. Search it before typing something in comments that isn’t true. There are two interviews that actually ARE in the past 2 weeks, where he says his now ex-wife we’re both scientists, had children, and they divorced, because they had built a relationship on day to day responsibilities and activities.     Is there a limit on age regression 🤔?
    How about curing arthritis and neuropathy; removing deep scars of tissues due to being involved in a car accident 🤔?

      I agree. I actually switched to a carnivore diet and my health and well-being has skyrocketed. It will be 4 years in October.
      I don’t even bother with plants anymore. They’re just a waste of time and energy and money. I’m 70 years and 8 months and absolutely thrilled with my current health and energy.
      I would love to do the test he’s talking about.
      I did a glycophage blood test which put me at 10 years younger than my real age and I really do feel 10 years younger.

      Yes because most of our veg from the store are sprayed with pesticides & fertilizers so what you have to do is wash your fruit & veg thoroughly but then by washing off the pesticides & fertilizers you are washing off the nutrients in the process so you are eating nothing.

      As far as diet goes, being mostly fruitarian, smoothies often, with vegetables, with seafood, esp salmon, with oils, butter, olive oil, coconut oil, with eggs, with very little grains, including bread, & occasional sweets, usually skipping breakfast, often having one meal a day, occasional liver/gallbladder flush, detoxing, sweating, not eating late (I noticed that was detrimental early on), taking supplements, has been excellent for me
      my spouse did the only meat all the time diet (@32yo) for maybe a week...he was SO constipated it hurt to poop - if/when he could muster the courage to go through with it, he bled, had lingering pain on top & bottom both - he thought something was seriously wrong, like a blockage - he drank lots of water, ate fiber (smoothies), ate veggies, took stool softeners, eventually he could comfortably have a BM, but he was scared & in pain for many days!
      Eating meat (land/air animals) usually makes me feel heavy, sluggish, low energy, slows digestion/elimination - I was a solid meat/cheese-eater, few veggies when I was in my pre2teens & didn't want to change my diet - I wanted to prove that meat-eating was best but after reading book after book, articles, etc & seeing all of them proving/claiming that excessive meat-eating is tough on the kidneys, colon (no fiber) & builds up uric acid, amongst other things really started changing my way of thinking...first I stopped eating pig, then cow, then chicken, the shellfish, then fish - was totally vegetarian for a long time, then a raw-foodist for a while - the 'cleaner' I eat, the better I feel😂
      But then every body is affected, reacts & responds differently, in almost every way imaginable to almost every thing imaginable, so the best thing to do is find what works for you > the experiment of ONE < because that is all your experience will ever be!
      Then there are the obvious NoNos for every body> like overeating & processed foods & chemical additives, MSG, lab-created sugars, etc & radiation (microwaves) & ingesting plastics, to name a few...
      I think about how toddlers prefer to eat & how 😢would one naturally eat if one was set in the wilderness with minimal processing ability - would you be more likely to pluck berries & fruits, dig roots & tubers, catch fish? Things you can eat raw right away or with very little preparation - of course, you could cultivate food as well
      OR Would you be more likely to trap/kill an animal? Gut it, skin it, eat some flesh raw, cook some, preserve some...bc you only have so long before the meat will become pretty inedible...tan the hide, use the bones, etc - what about the eyeballs, brain, heart, lungs, etc - how do you take care of all the pieces parts that you don't eat &/or don't use?
      It seems to me, the ways food(s) appears naturally, and your instincts pertaining there to, are clues as to how humans were designed to eat.

    New new new diet - for autoimmune-compromised people (me) and/or obesity-type people. Beef and fruit only. Raw pineapple, melon, mango as much as you want and beef-only. Try it for 3 months. Originally I had added strawberries and goat's dairy but BOTH those had to go due to spots (psoriasis). Now I am happy, no spots & healthy with my pineapple 3 times a day and ground beef mince liquidised into a delicious beef-only stew. I add vitamin K2, omega 3 from algae, and vitamin d3 to my stew and blend them in.
    I also take 20-30 supplements for longevity, they are extremely helpful indeed. Fortunately auto-immune requirements and long living requirements mostly coincide. My brain and mitochondria are tops at present (I am 73), before I was forgetful and fatigued - now I am like a kitten with the zoomies. I do minimal no-sweat gym twice a day, no heavy lifting - 10 minutes only.
    Oh and best of all I drink one soya milk latte early mornings every day. Oh, and Sunday mornings before 10 a.m. I gorge on pink-icing-donuts and white-icing-cake - about 5 or 6!!! yum. Just once a week cheating doesn't bring back auto-immune or diabetes problems and keeps me mentally happy - can't face a lifetime without Belgian buns and cake.
    David doesn't really get auto-immune problems yet, so his diet sounds naïve to me at 73. Beef and lamb and deer are inert that's why its good at clearing auto-immune issues. He doesn't understand that, I can tell.

      you add that "sweet fuel" from fruit or cake to your diet. You'd better check your insulin and blood sugar, or the ride may begin. Some of these fruits release a lot of fructose, which crosses the blood-brain barrier very quickly and destroys neurons in the brain. I don't have to explain to you what's at stake. You take a handful of supplements that may mask various early symptoms of problems that may arise. A diet based on sugar fuel is a bad diet

      take hot epsom salt baths & follow with cold ahower, slather yourself in castor oil. The firat few times will shock te body & you will feel drained of energy so rest. Take glutothioe & nad, taurine, omegas, d3,a, milk thistle, elderberry, reduce portions when eating, avoid breakfast, exrcise moderately, and you need vit d & b's. I am 50 in april and never beeenguessed above 30, EVER. I always hated breakfaat & ate a good dinner, moderately kept active but ONE thing I've done consistently since 12 is take a multivitamin and balance the mind to reduce cortisol by doing what you love for example art, shelling on beach, whatever you like, and find Spirituality. Never overattatch to things/ people, and develop your intuition by trusting it. You Will by doing these things LOOK younger. For your skin try retinoin and a barrier lotion over it - oil based and apply your skincare such as hylourons by layering thinnest to thick. Moderation & balance, probiotics as gut health= mind health. I've always smoked and still do but my mind is very disciplined for example when npt sure I wanted children I felt my son's lifeforce so strong within almost a week and a half before missing my period at 40 and as soon as I saw the positive preg test I decided a reson to quit smoking and just stopped for his sake. I do not smoke alot though & certainly do not recommend anyone ever start. I l8ved in Europe until 8 and the water quality was pure & unflouridated & our food was pesticide free. Our drinks were never in plastic containers but glass, and the market sold the food without plastic packaging. Moving to the States sucked but at the time had to as our country was communist ( I was born in Bucharest Romania in 1974 & always spent my summers on moms side grandparents farm, It is located in a village and mom inherited all that fertile land as my granpa in the country was a farmer who grew everything on that fertile ground without pesticides and chainsmoked since 12 and died at 88 from preventable dehydration as when you get older you can forget to hydrate, and no one noticed to tell him to drink water for days and he died of damn dehydration, smh.     can it prevent or reverse genetical predisposition to certain conditions? i have varicose veins that bother me a lot. bad circulation, i am not overweight, i am underweight, always ate very healthily, always exercised, its juts genetics. if i start taking nmn would that prevent it form worsening?

      Yeah, so many things are genetic that we have very little control over regardless of what we do with our health, that's just part of life. Increasing lifespan is a very very unpredictable thing. You can do everything right and still die young unfortunately, or the guy treating his body like absolute crap next door might live longer than you, and you try to do everything right for your health, him living longer than you isn't the norm, but it happens a lot unfortunately. We all just have to live as healthy as we can and hope for the best. I think we generally can increase our lives by a few years by living a very healthy life as opposed to a normal life. I think the real value is is that you will feel good most of your life and a happier person if you live a very healthy life the way David Sinclair suggests. Instead of expecting to live a lot longer, which you might live longer by a little as opposed to living a normal life, expect to be happy and enjoy the life you have. Ageing is just too misunderstood, which is why you never see really healthy people living a really long time, or at least not that often. Aging is aging regardless of what we do, and i'm not sure there will ever be a really really good answer, not for a very long time at least. I want something or a lifestyle that can increase life by 30 years or more, which seems very far way. 5 to 10 years is nothing really if you think about it, considering all the things people do to get those 5 years, and even then, so many still die before their time.

    The human body is designed to die off with the process of apoptosis. If we are extremely cautious in our health maintenance, eat pure, clean food, not too often, exercise, rest, spend at least 30 minutes in the sun to obtain D3 for the health of the liver we will, theoretically, age longer than someone who violates all the parameters. At least half your health arises from heredity. Very interesting discussion.

    Father/mother time will catch up to all of us eventually. Dr. Sinclair does promote a healthy lifestyle worthy of being followed. One question is how people handle their longevity mentally. Can you roll back the years to those young years where your creativity was at its best and you felt invincible? If you can't then life will become a repeating daily occurence and will become mundame, at least for me. That's when the cobwebs will start to set in.

    I do these weekly. I prefer doing the same exercises rather than mixing it up all the time.
