Definitely want to see this put together in a functional environment, mainly because I already bought half of this over the past year and want to see how I can tweak my space better.
This is a great list! I did my whole setup off amazon and just like you said I'm looking for a new adjustable bench already. I did save a ton of $$ by buying loadable dumbells and iron plates though. And a cheaper flooring option is a $50 area rug for those who don't want to afford the rubber mats.
Love the channel. Just started my home gym. Using Powerblocks, cap adjustable bench, and sunny health rower, plus some kettlebells. Will eventually add power rack, barbell, and plates throughout the year. Keep up the reviews.
I don't have a garage or space for a real home gym. If I did I wouldn't buy any of this Amazon stuff. But I watched this video and will watch a set up and a review video because I find myself watching all your videos. Keep up the good work. Hopefully someday I'll have a house with an amazing home gym thanks to all the hours watching your content.
Craigslist is the place to buy . I have all I need but I still look and it's amazing what you can get cheap. And most people will take less if you go right away with cash.
That Fitness Reality Rack has to be the greatest deal of all time! Bought it at the start of COVID and I've regularly had 400+ lbs on it weekly since with ZERO issues. Plus I have an SSB/Swiss Bar mounted on the back. Can't recommend it enough!
Yep, I love my NordicTrack adjustable dumbbells. I have the black/blue plastic ones that don’t have knurling, but I like the adjustability for value way more than others on the market
Amazon equipment is cheap and typically stands up to average Joe Home Gym owner. The hard part (for me) is catching the sales, since the prices fluctuate significantly.
I spent several months checking and looking at prices, to see which ones fluctuated and how much. It's like an obsession though- watching and checking multiple times a day. Somethings, I decided were worth getting second hand. Other stuff- far better to get new.
Would love this all put together and functioning. I love your content. I recently added the Power Blocks Elite XP to my home gym after seeing several of your videos. That led me to other videos as well and many of the recommended them as well. Thanks again!
I've got quite the collection of "pull up assist" bands off of Amazon to do banded work (having band pegs on my rack is huge), versa grips, slam ball, chin/dip belt, belt, landmine attachment all from amazon
I got the American rubber mats a few years ago and they are amazing. I was concerned about using horse stall mats because they are so heavy and I was concerned about fumes. I'm glad I got the tiles because they were so easy to maneuver. I recently moved and it was SO EASY to breakdown, pack up, and put back together.
My bench from Amazon is the JX Fitness Olympic Squat Rack for $120 that I lower to use as a bench press along with a Gold's Gym bench I got at Goodwill years ago. It does the job!!!
Regarding the Titan wall mounted cable machine, note that it has a pull of 8 pounds if you attach both cables and 4 pounds if you attach just one cable without any weight loaded. I have one, it works great but we noticed that 20 pounds didn't feel like 20 pounds so we tested each side and then both together. Also, the plastic inserts on the guide needed to be shaved on the inside because it wasn't a smooth up and down. But for the price, it was absolutely worth it.
I’ve read about some people switching out the pulley system for an upgrade and has made that piece of equipment even better. I also have the short version and enjoy it, helps add various workouts to my routine
Coop, been watching your videos for quite some time on my smart TV while working out, but recently joined from my computer. I really enjoy your approach and reviews. I set up my home gym, starting when the pandemic hit, and have been adding to it ever since. I started with a connected spin bike (Echelon), and rower. Purchased the fitness reality rack and upper/lower pulleys, and continue to add; 25 pieces of equipment later, I think I'm done, although I am looking at an endless rope. I know you hate the foam flooring, and it does leave impressions if you leave heavy equipment on it, but once in place, it works well and is significantly less expensive. I've purchased a lot of equipment on Amazon as well as from Titan. Really good experiences with both. Although I have a few bumper plates, my goal is $1 per pound. I find that you can never have too much weight. Would love to go over equipment content and get your comments.
Hey Coop! I just watched your previous $1000 Amazon gym vid. I’d love to see a sequel vid where let’s say someone followed through on those suggestions and wanted to add on to their gym or upgrade for an additional $1000. What would your recs be then?? Would love to know. Thank you!
I volunteer my garage if you need a place to put it after assembling and making the videos etc. If I had to start over, I think the rack/bench/barbell/bumpers/collars is a great start. Thanks for the video!
The X-Mark barbells are really nice too and I actually use them in the commercial gym I manage along with the same Fitness Reality power rack sans the lat pull down attachment.
I have been sweating over buying some adjustable dumbbells. I was about to go with core+stand as it's the same price as powerblocks. Never occurred to me to just put it on a damn shelf. Thanks Coop!
I just started my home gym and the first thing I bought was the sports royal power tower from Amazon, and its been really good. Looking to get a rack, and bench next.
I think you forgot about plate storage. Also, I'd like to see you review some selectorized gym systems. I'm getting older and working out at home without a spotter can get sketchy. I'm a former football player, and I was always used to lifting heavy. Now that I'm in my mid 50's and lifting solo at home, I just don't want to tempt fate (I already aggravated the heck out of my tennis elbow doing heavy seated shoulder presses with dumbbells). That said, I purchased a used Body-Solid selectorized gym system and I absolutely love it. I'm investing in a leg press machine this week (again, selectorized) to be able to work my legs. Anyway, I'd love to see you review home gym systems from Body-Solid, Hoist, and French Fitness. I bet there are many folks out there wondering about these as well.
Got so happy for him to mention the nordictrack only for him to say he's not getting them. Really want to see a review since I just got them. Also they are on sale if you still haven't gotten them!
Coop!!! You HAVE to shout me out if I'm the guy you said commented about the Nordic Track adjustable dumbbells 😂. Would LOVE to see you guys review it. I got the ProForm version that's 50lb adjustable in increments of 10, 10-50 and it's been great, but I found out about the NordicTrac after my return period. I believe they are under the same company, or if not, they just use the same system, just the 2.5-5 lb adjustor is great to have. I can say the ProForm ones are SOLID and we're great for $269 I paid for a pair. I would gladly have paid $60 more for those Nordic ones though, so if you review and find enough to say about the width of the handle, if the adjustor doesn't make it uncomfortable, I would highly consider upgrading. Thanks again for always making great content!
Ayyyy! They JUST DROPPED from $399 to $260.00 for the new year! I originally ordered on phone from wishlist, but remembering this video, i cancelled and ordered again from browser using your affiliate link. Thanks again!
Always a fun concept. I’d like to see a bodybuilding or asthetics focused gym build. We’ve got CrossFit style gym, and power lifting. But seldom do I see body building home gym focus
I know I commented this on another video, but it’ll be great if you could do a ‘concrete durability’ test of some sort on different types of gym flooring E.g. dropping bumper plates and dumbells on different gym flooring and seeing if it damages the concrete etc.
As an avid cyclist, I can tell you from first hand experience that the ultimate ears UE BOOM line speakers beat the brakes off the JBL Flips or Extremes. My 1 UE boom is louder than my flip AND Extreme together, God forbid I ever get to a point of having to pair our 2 booms with out megaboom 🫣 I think you get my point! UE has that corner locked down yall
I just bought those american floor mats and they are awesome, however..... Buy direct, they are almost half the price vs buying on Amazon, they are barely more expensive than horse stall mats if you are somewhat close where shipping doesn't get crazy expensive
I bought the black 310lb set of everyday essentials plates back on Black Friday for $340 including tax. I already had 290lbs of the same bumper plates that I had bought a couple months before that. I haven’t had any problems with them. I did also weigh all of the plates and they all weighed what they are labeled as
Fact Check for the Powerblock Knurled Handles. You can get Knurled Handles from 3rd party sites for the EXP (Made in China and sold on Amazon) as well as expansion kits. However, the Knurled handles sold officially by Powerblock are only for the USA model sold directly through them. According to Powerblock the Handles on the EXP and USA models are different and the Knurled Handles sold by them will not fit the EXP.
By the way, without question, I love Powerblocks. I thought I wouldn't like them at first because they were boxed in, but haven't found a lot of inconvenience with that overall. I think the only thing I want to do sometimes that I can't without modification are goblet squats.
to add to this, I don't think the Powerblock elites EXP is made in the USA. They are made from china. That's why Powerblock's website sells the Powerblock elites USA version and not the EXP version. Also the expansion kits for both are not compatible with the other. USA may fit the EXP (not a full fit), but the EXP won't fit the USA.
There's some fluff towards the end. Don't need speakers or a cart. You definitely don't need a stationary bike. In fact, there are tons of ones given away used online all the time because they are extremely heavy and awkward to move. Also, I'd consider the lat pull down and the cable machine redundant. No curl bar?!
Saw the Future add, then watched your previous review video, and took the plunge. I start my first workouts this weekend and am hoping for some solid workouts and consistency with my crazy travel schedule. Actually picked a trainer that says he worked with you for a couple months Coop, so hoping for good things!
I picked up some interlocking mats from American Floor Mats for just part of the floor and I really like ‘em! Definitely will get more to finish off the area
Everyday Essentials changed the color scheme. The 25s are now green and the 35s are yellow. I own the 55s and are nice. The rubber has a slightly rough texture which makes it easier to carry. I use the yaheetech squat stand. It is rated for up to 550lbs. Most I have squatted on it has been 315. I do have to put a counter weight for them not to move.
Definitely want to see this put together in a functional environment, mainly because I already bought half of this over the past year and want to see how I can tweak my space better.
Same! I was looking at his cart at the end and was thinking, "Wow this looks a lot like all the stuff I have!"
That's completely situational/subjective though
*Yeah, his video is so obviously going to help you do that. Next time make sure you get your head completely up his ass when you kiss it.*
This is a great list! I did my whole setup off amazon and just like you said I'm looking for a new adjustable bench already. I did save a ton of $$ by buying loadable dumbells and iron plates though. And a cheaper flooring option is a $50 area rug for those who don't want to afford the rubber mats.
Definitely would like to see all this out together and reviewed. I’m wanting to start a garage gym in the new year.
Just about finished with mine. Just need some accessory panels to hold studf. The options are overwhelming at times. Good luck brother.
Love the channel. Just started my home gym. Using Powerblocks, cap adjustable bench, and sunny health rower, plus some kettlebells. Will eventually add power rack, barbell, and plates throughout the year. Keep up the reviews.
YES! Please review the everyday essential plates. I have seen these go on some crazy sales but wasn't sure if it would be worth the purchase.
I'm interested in the extra video where you review the products you buy here
Y’all totallyyyyy need to set up a gym with the equipment and test it out. Great video idea !
Low key added some if not most of these to an amazon list lol. Trying to slowly build my home gym. These are great suggestions!
I’d enjoy a video on the Everyday Essentials bumper plates. Those seem to be everywhere and the reviews are all over the place.
No issues unless you're dropping them higher than a deadlift from what I hear
Those everyday essentials plates go on sale for $1 per pound all the time. Be patient and also check Walmart :)
Craigslist is the place to buy . I have all I need but I still look and it's amazing what you can get cheap. And most people will take less if you go right away with cash.
I want to see the video of all these products put together. I need to see that final form
That Fitness Reality Rack has to be the greatest deal of all time! Bought it at the start of COVID and I've regularly had 400+ lbs on it weekly since with ZERO issues. Plus I have an SSB/Swiss Bar mounted on the back. Can't recommend it enough!
The Fitness Reality half rack is also great. It's about $200 and comes with a landmine attachment.
This channel is realy underrated. Great work.
Yep, I love my NordicTrack adjustable dumbbells. I have the black/blue plastic ones that don’t have knurling, but I like the adjustability for value way more than others on the market
wow....love this video series
I learn something new every time I watch your videos
Thank for sharing and your effort 😍😍😍
(I bought two sets on Amazon, super durable) FDE Titan Bands - Dual Layer Pull Up Assistance Resistance Bands - Set of 5
Definitely want to see you purchase build and test these products. Enjoy your videos keep up the great work
The PAPABABE 2-Tier Dumbbell Rack can be found on Amazon and it's amazing. I have two of them and they fit my 5lb to 100lb sets of Dumbbells very well
Amazon equipment is cheap and typically stands up to average Joe Home Gym owner. The hard part (for me) is catching the sales, since the prices fluctuate significantly.

Craigslist has lots of good deals.
Would love to see you gift this to some one just starting out their fitness journey in 2023 and track their progress.
Definitely need to see this build! Give the people what they want! Keep up the good work
Fantastic idea, can't wait to follow through on the build!
Would love this all put together and functioning. I love your content. I recently added the Power Blocks Elite XP to my home gym after seeing several of your videos. That led me to other videos as well and many of the recommended them as well. Thanks again!

DAMN they are heavy. i got one and i can barely drag it. made be feel like a gnat dragging a cantaloupe. (the smell is noxious. *forever.* )
Yes! Please do a review on everyday essentials colored bumper plates. Thanks!
My bench from Amazon is the JX Fitness Olympic Squat Rack for $120 that I lower to use as a bench press along with a Gold's Gym bench I got at Goodwill years ago.
It does the job!!!

We’ll done Coop! I learn something new every time I watch your videos. Thanks for all your hard work.
Coop, been watching your videos for quite some time on my smart TV while working out, but recently joined from my computer. I really enjoy your approach and reviews. Id love to see the part 2 to this video personally💪👍
Please do a review for the Everyday Essential bumper plates.
Hey Coop! I just watched your previous $1000 Amazon gym vid. I’d love to see a sequel vid where let’s say someone followed through on those suggestions and wanted to add on to their gym or upgrade for an additional $1000. What would your recs be then?? Would love to know. Thank you!
Def want to see it put together and reviewed. Also like to see a video reviewing only Amazon branded products
This sounds like a cool and fun task. Hopefully a wonderful person/family gets to enjoy it afterwards.
I have the weider version of the Nordic track adjustable dumbbells and they are quite nice
Yes we wanna seeeeeew
Definitely want to see all this put together
I volunteer my garage if you need a place to put it after assembling and making the videos etc. If I had to start over, I think the rack/bench/barbell/bumpers/collars is a great start. Thanks for the video!
Excited to see a review of all the items!
I work at Amazon and see a lot of stuff in returns. Those essential bumpers look solid tbh
Let’s see it!
The X-Mark barbells are really nice too and I actually use them in the commercial gym I manage along with the same Fitness Reality power rack sans the lat pull down attachment.
Yes! I've been waiting for a totan pulley review! I've been wanting to buy it for some time but I want a coop stamp of approval
Lay off those vinegar fish chips and chipotle BBQ Sauce BABE.
please review the everyday essentials bumpers
I have been sweating over buying some adjustable dumbbells. I was about to go with core+stand as it's the same price as powerblocks. Never occurred to me to just put it on a damn shelf. Thanks Coop!
I am absolutely interested in this something really up my alley
I just started my home gym and the first thing I bought was the sports royal power tower from Amazon, and its been really good. Looking to get a rack, and bench next.

Build it, and they will come!
Put it together!
What is the cheapest smith machine you would recommend? Lay pull-down is a plus. 🤙
Got so happy for him to mention the nordictrack only for him to say he's not getting them. Really want to see a review since I just got them. Also they are on sale if you still haven't gotten them!
I Frankensteined my FR rack with a cable crossover from hulkfit
Good mooring from colorado first baby.
Coop!!! You HAVE to shout me out if I'm the guy you said commented about the Nordic Track adjustable dumbbells 😂. Would LOVE to see you guys review it. Definitely want to see a follow up review on physically having everything and getting your opinion on the items first hand.
Use it!
Would love to see this happen.
Always a fun concept. I’d like to see a bodybuilding or asthetics focused gym build. We’ve got CrossFit style gym, and power lifting. But seldom do I see body building home gym focus
The short height cable tower is well worth its price and provides about 90% of the functionality of an actual functional trainer at 1/3 the cost.
For sure interested. Do it Coop!!
What about rehabbing shoulder pads that can heat a shoulder up as well as a cold option.
Would definitely be interested in a build/assembly video
I know I commented this on another video, but it’ll be great if you could do a ‘concrete durability’ test of some sort on different types of gym flooring E.g. dropping bumper plates and dumbells on different gym flooring and seeing if it damages the concrete etc.
No way Coop spent more on Dumbbells than a Power rack and Lat pulldown combined 💀
Love to see this put together.
I need to see this Amazon garage gym build!
Build it brother
Set that stuff up, I want to see how it looks. My gym is basically done but as every Homegym owner knows, we are never done.
Great recommendations, could you maybe do a British version at some point?
Definitely want to see the “after” side of this video.
I have a few items from Amazon in my home gym. It's nice to have something delivered to your door.
I just bought those american floor mats and they are awesome, however..... Buy direct, they are almost half the price vs buying on Amazon, they are barely more expensive than horse stall mats if you are somewhat close where shipping doesn't get crazy expensive

Coop - Wife wants to see a review of the "Booty Sprout". Mechanics, Build Quality, use, etc.
Have you reviewed the HULKFIT Power Cage Squat Rack from Amazon? Looks interesting.
Build it Coop! 😊
This gym is basically exactly what I started with
…great idea!…you’ve outlined a great start and Amazon is the best customer service you can find-bar none!…
That air bike is now $750.00 LMAO At that price and 49% one star ratings I would recommend just about ANY other air bike.
Everyday Essentials changed the color scheme. The 25s are now green and the 35s are yellow. I own the 55s and are nice. The rubber has a slightly rough texture which makes it easier to carry. Yes install it and review it!
Excellent video, very interested for the follow up !
Thanks coop!
Holy moly that's expensive. And In USD to boot.
Praise be to local retailers' sales & used equipment.
There's something wonderfully ironic about Coop building an all Amazon home gym while wearing a Rogue shirt
3:46, Newport 40" Wood Bench with Rush seat and you chose the other one!?
ABSOLUTELY INTERESTED IN YOY BUILDING ALL THE AMAZON STUFF U BOUGHT!!
@GarageGymReviews1 lmao
