All the updates my cx60 has had have now made it the brilliant car I expected. Mazda admitted they released the car too early for emissions reasons. Well worth a test drive ,you won't be disappointed now
. The dealer told me the cx80 will have all new suspension and many upgrades which the cx60 will also get as part of a face-lift coming at the end of the year. Gorgeous interior ,brilliant bose sound system and great seats along woth vastly improved ride from the new suspension shocks etc

If it's based on the cx-60 technology then give it a wide berth and choose another SUV, the cx-60 and 90's are plagued with faults and poor ride issues. Mazda have been recalling them for issues, my own top of the range 2023 CX-60 petrol is terrible, so many things wrong with it.

      Can you describe, please ?!

@@georgepotcovaru2595 sure, so technology wise, the main selling point is the driver recognition system used to identify the driver and adjust everything to their needs, unfortunately this is so random that it's unusable in every day driving, even my dealer admits it just doesn't work. It's turned off in my car so if my wife drives we have to adjust everything for her and back to me. The road speed recognition is broken, certain speeds such as 90kph with read 80, 50 or 30. 130 will read 120 etc. The phone charging pad is pathetic, phones are constantly beeping for charging/not charging etc even with no covers on the phones. Higher model cars come with safety packages such as sides assist, lane assist, rear collision etc. None of these can be disabled completely now after 2022 thanks to the EU. In my car I'm constantly fighting the lane assist. You have to either indicate for every manoeuvre regardless of empty roads etc or fight the wheel to get it to lane change. You can turn it off but then every restart it's back again and it's so intrusive and distracting, even on a straight road if you are not bang on the middle 100% of the time it's screaming at you with warnings in the dash and audio if it even suspects you went near a white line. It's flimsy as well, feels like the doors are made of paper. I bought a CX5 and a CX60 same month, CX5 feels so much better. I suspect it's weight saving in the CX60 to return good mileage. Suspension is super stiff and you feel every bump, whole boot contents will jump in the air occasionally. All in all I'm super disappointed and I'm 100% sure all the same tech is in the CX-80, 90, 70 etc.

@@georgepotcovaru2595 broken drivers recognition system, works 2 in 10 times. Aggressive lane assist and constantly interfering in driving enjoyment. Cannot be turned off as resets everytime. Speed recognition system broken, hard suspension, jerky gearbox at low revs, rattles from the boot and glove box, very strange noises in heavy rain, many more things I could add, it's been back for service and the only things fixed were the boot latch and the lane assist is less severe but still intrusive

After a series of software updates, the CX 60 is an excellent car, as "deanowarrior" wrote. I have the PHEV variant in full equipment and I am extremely satisfied.
