See this is what I'm talking about I love stuff like this when people teach people how to make things cheaper because the actual company is charging an arm and leg and make it hard for everybody great video man great video man
I like that there are so many ways to make one yourself, here are some that I've came across and/or thought of: -layers of neoprene -thick felt pads and velcros -yoga blocks -jigsaw foam mat -3D w/ thick filaments Etc etc.
Awesome! Thanks for the tip. Never woulda thought of using yoga blocks to make pads but O boy, its makes so sense after seeing your vid. Much much better than layering foam/neoprene IMO. Thanks again 👍
Looks great. I made some power pads from yoga block, like the existing ones you have on your wheel for your shin and back of leg. They worked great but after a couple falls they tore apart. I want some made of durable rubber like dog chew toy (Kong) is made from. Honeycomb inside to reduce weight. Can it be 3D printed you think?
I have made MANY... Just because I love making stuff. I actually glued on a layer of the yoga mat as well to make it stronger. I cut off a piece of the yoga mat and used some hot glue on a few strategic places.

I will use jigsaw foam mat (EVA) with 30mm thinness. I discover than you can just glue then with instant glue and gets really glued
Love the Yoga block idea! Hate taping multiple pad pieces together.

Im planning on making some soon, this was a great trick to do it. Thanks for posting
Loved it! You're so hilarious! Good job!

Love your video. Got myself yoga blocks too. How do you cut them to shape?
A long blade knife and ruff sandpaper. The knife should have a straight egde if possible. I used the same as you would cut the Christmas turkey.
how did you glue it to the side of the wheel?
Velcro...
Hot glue as an alternative
Gonna make some as well! How did yours turn out?

What happens when u change ur shoes? Lol
Hehehe. Just use velcro on the pads and move them up a bit. Or forward.
Love you 😘
