Jenice Pye yeah amazon is a good source also if you have an indian market near you, I usually put in sesame oil ( any oil that works for you) and let it set for 3 days in a glass jar. Hi y'all. U can add a few drops of ur favorite essential oils to it n that makes it smell good. U can also mix it w ur herbal teas. It stinks after fermentation if u don't refrigerate after about a week. ...i just started......, Marsha.
I have 3c hair and I do Brazilian keratin treatments and use semi permanent dye in my hair. Now I use the rice water every other day so about 3-4x/wk. But I also use castor oil in my roots and a moisturizer on my ends and wash it out the next day adding the rice water with my conditioner and to rinse out the conditioner Then I use castor oil leave in conditioner and infusion 23 on my scalp and Loreal Elvive no cut on my ends. All products contain castor oil on them. I swear to God that in a week I already have to retouch my hair. I'm going to wait about a month before I do a bkt again. My hair grew HALF AN INCH! In a week and it's good on my Brazilian keratin treatment. It won't strip the treatment out but because the hair Is growing so fast you might see your roots. Just don't do another BKT and try to wait before you do another treatment or just flat iron your roots I guess. I don't plan on stopping this at all! I accidently cut my hair shoulder length last fall after a break up after having mbl for a while. It's already grown past my shoulders. I'll be back to mbl by this fall. It's still strange having short hair. I've not seen breakage as long as I use a moisturizer on my ends every day. But they are a little dry. So I moisturize and seal with castor oil every day. One this is my hair itches like crazy. Omg!
Great details. How can you strip the Keratin from your hair? I have Agave smoothing treatment and don't like the separation of the new growth and the Agave treatment

@@rhodaasomah8376 shops on lockdown..anything else? I just started my rice water 2wks ago, difference is there , but not sure of steps, as in spray after that then put what? Wash how often? So itchy..that is a sign of??
I learned so much from this video. Honestly thank you
Your are so beautiful. I love your videos you always give great tips for natural hire. I just started using the rice water and I love it. I use it twice a month and I have seen great results. Thank you
How do you get protein out if a starch?
By shampooing and conditioning right after.
Soo umm if we’re leaving it for 24 hrs we need to put it in the fridge?
But I also use castor oil in my roots and a moisturizer on my ends and wash it out the next day adding the rice water with my conditioner and to rinse out the conditioner
Then I use castor oil leave in conditioner and infusion 23 on my scalp and Loreal Elvive no cut on my ends.
You also made a video about using rice water on your face and how did that go. Do you still use it?
Ok so I have cornrows in, and I was gonna rinse my hair everyday but I'm kinda skeptical about doing it everyday, so how much would you recommend me too do,
@@vee3133 ok
@@vee3133 ok so like on the first day I washed my braids and I rinsed the soap out and I put the rice water in let it sit and and rinsed that out and moisturized after so I just keep on repeat that but not wash my hair until the last day?
So I am protein sensitive, and I left this mask on my hair for 3 hours (because I was studying and forgot to wash it out). Now I have protein damage, any advice on how to reverse the protein overload besides cutting it all off? Thank you!
Moisturise! :) do a lot of moisturising treatments to combat the parole in overload! I usually use castor oil mixed with a lighter oil like coconut or almond or jojoba oil overnight before you wash your hair :) it helps I promise!
Why can't u just apply to scalp
Also, those women are Asian there hair is oily Afro women hair is naturally dry it needs oil. IF you use the rice water you need to place a conditioner on top of the rice water, but for curly hair, if you want the minerals and vitamines on your hair and something that will not dry your hair why not TRY SEA MOSS gel and wash off???
She already had long hair
Have you ever tried organic wild rice? If not will you try it and do a review?
rice water is easy its has grown my hair and it help brings out the natural texter of your hair .i always put coconut oil or olive oil i also use orange peel
Wooòoow
Which do you advise doing it twice a month or 4 times a month
In addition to the growth, does it thicken as well? Everytime I do a ponytail, I can see my scalp 🤦♀️
i heard a lot of people commenting about how their hair has thicken when using this but you should also try ayurvedic powders/oils. ive been using them and my has thicken and grown.
I'm gonna start using this for a year! But only gonna use it once a week or once every other week
I don't have measuring tape so I'm measuring my hair with a shoelace lol, will update every week
How many week I will use it for the longer hair
Whats the routine you do now with the rice water
Hi are you doing my name is Darline I like Rice water. Is it ok to use twice a day?
Beautiful women very intelligent. Lovely hair and yes I use organic castor oil to help with the dryness from rice treatments.
does the castor oil help moisturize the hair well
@@beteldawit7600 Castor oil is very thick so you don't need much I always add moisture to my hair such as water then apply a palm size portion of castor oil to my hair to lock in the moisture. If your in air conditioning it should hold all day if your in heat you may need to spritz some moisture every so often.
@@beteldawit7600 The main reason I'm using Castor oil is for growth.
So how often do you use rice water
does it help with thickness or only length?
Is best of shampoo first mixed rice water with conditioner and rinse
Interesting video thanks for explaining now I can tryn this rice water
