The 911 Turbo S is the exception to the exhaust noise rule. Hypercars come to the 911 for advice on sustainability. The subtlety of the sound makes it gentlemanly. lt does everything you need it to do without drawing too much negative attention to you.
Well, one thing Mustang does better than Porsche is exhaust sound. As good as Porsche's are, imagine paying over 200k for a car that sounds worse than a Type R.

this may be the best supercar out there that's drivable on a daily basis. its 0-60 is lightning fast and the AWD system and rear engine will keep it planted ... awesome review and the on throttle was your best yet.

I had the opportunity to drive a 911 a few years ago. It was incredible. Words alone cannot describe the feeling or give you any idea of just how amazing the 911 is as a complete package. It is comfortable, roomy (enough) and not at all cramped, soft over the bumps when driving in town yet ready for anything at speed. It is a mystery how they accomplish that when everyone else, EVERYONE ELSE, fails to do so. It ain't cheap. It is worth every penny.

The performance is simply OUTSTANDING..the only knock on this car is.. not exotic enough (although it still looks good)...it needs to have a complete distinguish look from the other porsches (like the tycan does). Nice video JOE and queen of the camera Lori..
I like porches because they are sleeper cars and really good daily drivers. But they have that speed when you need it, and the engineering and design are just so good.
Never been a massive porsche fan until I was a passenger in one from 2004 a 991S.. That thing looks fantastic, sounds classy and obviously is typical porsche, probably the best drivers car in the world! Great review and good to see you really lapping it up!

Yes the speed picks up in this end of the camera also. Reminds me of my first time in something actually fast, other than a corvette, was a huracan evo. I swear 5000 rpm to redline is a blur. It really takes your breath away. These cars are so exhilarating. This 991 is just beautiful. 😎

Great review, Joe. I really enjoyed it! I do agree with owner Joe's choices of gloss black instead of the more common over-use of carbon fiber that gives a "boy-racer" look to so many cars. This car is the REAL DEAL, no boy racer here!
