If Biden were the good Catholic he says that he is, we wouldn't be having this discussion. A good Catholic would never support abortion, and if Biden felt he had to 🤔 then he should not allow himself to partake of the Eucharist. He should know better. If we care for the soul - and this is our responsibility as catholics - we should care for the state of grace of each one of them/us while unifying with the lord - why we ask for worldly reasons if the teaching of the church is that clear about hell, purgatory and heaven?
The more important questions are for esch one of us no matter if bishop or lay:
    Do you believe in god?
    Do you believe in hell?
    Do you believe in transubstantiation?
If not, why we are talking?

I am not sure whether we can correctly use the term "public sinners" for politicians who failed to oppose laws contradicting the teaching of the Catholic Church. No doubt that they are public figures. But my understanding of public sinner is someone who himself or herself commits the sin (publicly). The USA is a democratic country and applies the principles of democracy in decision-making, especially in public policies and enactments. As a member of a political party, I do not agree with abortion, but if the majority of my party members have different views, I cannot impose my view. In many interviews, President Biden admitted that he did not agree with abortion, but he was not prepared to impose his views on other people who did not share his beliefs. So I am not sure whether in such a position he could be categorized as a public sinner.

    • @joelpenley9791

Biden (and I believe Pelosi) has stated that they personally believe abortion is wrong, but they say they can not force someone else to believe it is wrong. Here is the probably the clearest you will hear him talk about it, and it is juxtaposed with another Catholic who is not afraid to oppose the killing of innocent babies in the womb. ruclips.net/video/9N9x1ONbGzU/видео.html
Biden's logic is a total copout and makes no sense. In all of politics, you are forcing people to act in ways they do not want to or believe they should not have to. Take something as mundane as speeding. Or look how they have no problem with gun control. If Biden truly believes he can not force his beliefs on anyone else, then he should not be in politics at all.

Normalization of sin is definitely one of the tools of the great deceiver. Foul language, provocative dress of speech was not allowed in TV or Radio at all. The Brady Bunch was the first show that had married couples in the same bed.
Now, you cannot find a show that doesn’t have some type of sex or innuendo. Even children’s shows or movies have some sort of off color or innuendo during the show.
So for a supposedly Catholic politician to make it out that the Church is backwards, out of touch, wrong on the sanctity of human life is way more than a guy not being perfect and wanting to receive communion with his church.

The Pope calls communion food for sinners but he has it wrong it is food for repentant sinners.
Mortal sins require confession, public sin requires public repentance yet we should not receive even in veinal sin if we are not repentant.
The Mass allows us to partake in Christ’s Sacrifice to his Father for our sins where he offers himself for us.
It is sacrilege to him to try and participate in this sacrifice without being sorry for being the reason it is needed and repenting.
King David was a man often Gods own heart not because he was sinless but because of the sorrow his sin caused him, and the love for God he showed in his repentance.
It is only in repentance for our sin that we can be made worthy.
It is what God needs to give us his mercy, his Grace.

The fact you had to make a video about this and not celebrating pride month says everything you need to know about the post-vatican 2 church...

When you say that Catholics are against homosexuality, are you referring to the lifestyle or same sex attraction. Can Catholics fellowship with homosexual people or is that a sin?

Giving in to homosexual desires is sinful. Simply being homosexual is not sinful. And yes, of course catholics can have fellowship with those who experience same sex attraction.

He Should Be denied .. I thought you had to be a practicing Catholic. To receive the Eucharist ... Being okay with abortion is wrong just everything with the left agenda in my point of view goes against the Church .. But mostly against Christ Teaching we Should be the Salt of the World not the Scandal ... I Love The Catholic Church & No to Abortion Nor Same Sex Marriage ... 🌟love the sinner but not the Sin. 💗Viva Cristo Rey 💗

“It’s not your body or blood. It’s not your table. It’s not your church. It’s not your invitation. You are the servant. You are not the master. You don’t assemble the guest list. You were appointed an ambassador of the good news, not a bouncer at the door of club heaven.”

Sorry folks but it would be unGodly for us to even consider such judgment. I am no Biden supporter nor agree w any of his policies, but like him, I am a Catholic. And the heart of the teaching is not just compassion, but Love. Aint easy that’s true, but we can’t be like the Pharisees & Scribes of Jesus’ days to be followers of the letters of the law. But as our Master, the True Head of our Church, reminded us, to live & be examples of the Law, have it written in our hearts w humble understandings, true care and acceptance, and yes, love even though we, the members of the Church, feels that Biden doesn’t deserve such treatment. Not ours to judge remember? The Eucharist is food for ALL who hungers Christ’s Love...Biden aint perfect, that’s a given, like us, but he still needs it. Let’s not be hypocrites & leave the judging to God Himself. We have more to worry about ourselves than others. Pray for Biden and for all ppl of this world. ✌🏻
