There are many ppl who are possessed who are kind, gentle & love God, and there are also many others who are not possessed but treat ppl badly. A lot of ppl do not understand this. @@danejar3519 I can't know for sure without meeting her (I'm quite spiritually sensitive), but from what you've said it certainly sounds as if she under tremendous spiritual attack. Esp if the weird 'stuff' has followed her/affected others. I would highly suggest you make sure you keep your self (& your family) safe spiritually: Pray deliverance & protection prayers every day (I highly recommend the 'Deliverance Book for the Laity' by Exorcist Fr Chad Ripperger); regular Confession; regular reception of the Holy Eucharist; personal prayer including the Rosary; read Scripture & so forth. Try to make sure you do not engage in sexual sin outside marriage. It would be good if she can find a good spiritual director - holy, humble & if possible, with some knowledge in this area. He could then give her a blessing (with a holy relic if possible).
In my case I had no idea I was possessed, despite the fact I'd been so since conception (discovered during the sessions). I had been able to go to Mass, pray, receive the Holy Eucharist, pray the rosary, use Holy water, Confession, & was even prayed over countless times (inc Healing Holy Masses with priests known for their gift of healing). It wasn't until my (new at the time) spiritual director blessed me with a relic of the True Cross that 'all hell broke loose'. Obviously all in God's perfect timing, as well as the fact more powerful demons seem to be able to hide for longer (ie withstand more torture before manifesting against their will).
@@lifesong8484 thank you so much, yeah and my question that I’m asking myself now is if she does know or not that a demon has been directing her. About a month ago she got a tattoo of 6 keys and 1 lock which just looks very out of the ordinary but “it felt right” to get and just a week ago she has gotten a tattoo of an indian demon which is also very out of the ordinary but once again just “felt right”, she has told me places that she wants to travel to because it is pretty much “calling her name” like india, egypt, Africa.. she has visions of her “past life” in Egypt she says. And it’s funny to me because when me and my friends first got to know her we described her as a fairy (her personality is somewhat like a fairy) but for some reason she’d rather be seen as a black cat, (at times she does look like a black cat, especially at night) and she says she is a cat all the time. It’s weird to me that so often she brings up conversations or talks about things that we talk about when she’s not around and it’s happened a lot of times or even sometimes thoughts we’ve thought which kinda trips me n my friends out, we always say to each other “it’s like she knows everything” but when she is with us it’s like all doubt about her being demon possessed almost goes away completely

As an atheist raised Catholic, I concur. I genuinely appreciate this priest's ability to converse in terms of "cause and effect" and not default back to superlative-laden intangibles when giving these answers. His line about not doing the exorcisms in the abandoned house at midnight in a thunderstorm cracked me up. I may not hold the beliefs any more, but I can always enjoy the ministry and positivity radiated by someone who is really good at the job.
1) super strength - don't have that
2) knowing languages I shouldn't know - in fact the reverse, any language I master is either Germanic or Romance, including Latin, but my Greek is rusty, my Polish and Lithuanian are gone, and knowing words in Sanskrit or Avestic related to linguistics is fairly common among linguists
3) knowing information one shouldn't know - well, a Vatican II-er can claim I shouldn't know all the proofs of Heliocentrism can be subverted or I shouldn't know St. Thomas and Riccioli believed in Angelic movers of the Celestial bodies - but that kind of strategic thing simply would land too many dissenters from Modernism in exorcism, and as I know Latin and have access to internet, there is lots of things I actually should know, even if Vatican II-ers don't or say one shouldn't
4) I don't have an aversion to anything sacred, when not praying Our Father, I do remain faithful to Hail Mary.

@@sodvine3486 Continuous sinning without repentance will certainly get one damned, but not necessarily possessed in this life.
The idea of Catholics, Orthodox, Copts, Armenians and Nestorians making Mary an idol is somewhat salty coming from denominations of which each of those I mentioned could ask "where were you guys back then".

“Modern evangelicals” speaking in tongues is painting with a pretty broad brush. It’s mostly just Pentecostals from what I understand.
I was watching an evangelist "church" routine on TV and the minister who was supposed to be speaking in tongues sounded an awful lot like gibberish and made up words, but if course the audience bought into it and they were all crying after being touched etc.

A lot of people's sin have meaning for them, thats why its difficult to give up. Praying to Mary has no bearing on our salvation according to God's Word. It is actually displeasing to Him.

No - if you read the entire verse in context- Jesus was speaking to the Apostles and his disciples - the first priests and deacons of the Catholic Church he founded giving Peter as its head. You can not exorcise someone truly possessed. They will embarrass you, call you out for your past sins because they know them all- that’s why priests and anyone assisting them in the rite of exorcism fast and pray before they do exorcisms.

haha oh man I prayed a prayer before the age of 5 years old to unite all the rites of the Church. Crazy I know. and Yes I prayed this to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Not to divide the rites, but to unite only through Jesus Christ. :-) But I do notice all the division since 2001.

So I guess we should just discount the thousands of christian mystics who have had direct spiritual contact with god because they wrote things down they shouldn't have known with their rational minds. @Shelly S - No Shelly, you do NOT need to join a church to be saved. The concept of the church includes people who believe in G-D and faith! In other words, it does not have to be a local church but a group of believers in your very own home. After all, as I said before on other channels the concept of church has become politicized so much most churches have forgotten what it means to represent G-Ds love. For example, I have been to many churches and have been turned away - mostly by my own blacc churches - simply because I am not a member. Food Cabinets? Shelter? Nothing; as in order to get help "one must be a member." When in all actuality when has G-D ever turned anyone away regardless of their race, skin melanin, religious believes, gender, or sexual orientation? The answer is never. With that being said, these are just some valid reasons why I avoid churches and synagogues as I rather walk closely with G-D 1 on 1 leaning on him than well..."human beings" who preach one thing but act differently.

Fr Vincent Lampert is such a wonderful Catholic Priest. May he be blessed every hour of every day with God’s protection. Please read his book, “Exorcism” to be informed.
Latin is one of many languages one can pray to God with . God understands all of us.
As Father Lampert said, Latin's efficacy stems from it's status as the official language of the Catholic Church. Theoretically, if the magisterium updated the canon and promulgated a new doctrine that modern Italian was the new official language of the church, then Italian would have that benefit rather than Latin.
@@Eye_of_a_Texan it's not simply that. It's more of the history of latin. Fr.Ripperger said latin is one of the holy languages because it was nailed upon the Cross (INRI sign) among Hebrew and Greek. It's also holy because the Church has long history of using it exclusively in holy Mass and other sacraments.
@@Eye_of_a_Texan to add on it, Hebrew is holy because it was spoken and written as the Word of God in the Old Testament. Greek also holy because the New Testament was written in Greek.
@@albertusr6178 in the sense that holy means that it is set apart for God, yes they are holy, but Latin and Greek were used by more pagans than by God's people. Homer's illiad isn't sacred, but it's in Greek etc. It's intent, as well as authority, that grants holiness.
Surely the main point is if the reader/prayer understands what he is saying rather than knows the intent of what the words/sounds are for.
I was addicted to crack cocaine from the age of 14 until I was 27. The first time I did it I fell out and went into convulsions. I tried many times to get clean and remember crying out to GOD to help me. Me and my wife started going to a pentecostal church of GOD with my grandma who we were living with at the time. We were in a very powerful service one Sunday night when the pastor's mother in law placed her hands on my head and prayed give him the mind of christ. Just then a demon manefested itself and came forward. The pastor had my pregnant wife removed from the santuary as the demon could jump into her and the child. The pastor and church leaders then cast the spirit out of me and I was then filled with the HOLY SPIRIT. Before then I could not go a day without the drugs. After that I wanted nothing to do with it even if I tried to. GOD is good.
I had a very similar experience to you. Although, I was also told about demons jumping into other people. It's not something I'm too sure about. We give demons access to us before they enter. I don't believe they have the power to just enter people at will. But, that's just my view.

I have heard doctors talk about crystal meth users who had to be restrained by several large hospital porters during violent episodes, despite the fact that they were in very poor physical health and weighed very little. I always made the connection with demonic influence as any other explanation did not seem to fit.

@@releventhurt Yeah that is why they don't rely on just one sign normally before they do an Exorcism. Seeing someone lift something REALLY heavy, by itself would probably not be enough.

@@Penfold101 Head towards Jesus. Embrace repentance and struggle to keep the commandments. Receive communion and go to confession. Do the rosary. After you do this. you wont need proof of the demons. They will openly torment you when you start making progress ;)

I personally was miraculous healed of a lifetime of heavy addiction. When spiritual blindness is healed, we become aware of the evil spirits.

Anyone who has repented of their sins, and received Jesus as their Lord and Savior has the authority to cast out demons in the Name of Jesus. Don't need to go through a priest or anyone else. Only Jesus.
Judas was possessed by Satan and did not display any signs of traditional possession. But he joined himself to an army to fight against God in the garden of Gethsemane. Then he committed suicide. I imagine that Judas despair (probably due to the devil possessing him) was so great he committed suicide.
Judas was possessed by Belial a devil belonging to the Satanic Hierarchy or one of the seven princes of Hell. Judas is a condemned soul and is in Hell but does reveal himself in possessions, so exorcists encounter him in exorcisms.

I see the point of your post but it may also lead one to argue that since Judas was possessed, he wasn't guilty of involuntary actions on his part. So I don't think it is the same thing as the bodily possession that needs exorcism. I think judas is like most of us: thieves laboring under the weight of our worldly desires.

One thing that tends to disturb me is how many priests (now mostly in senior positions) tend to exhibit an almost visceral hatred for things like Latin, sacramentals, and devotions .. I don't mean just a twee aesthetic dislike for 'all that old-fashioned stuff' but a genuinely obdurate resistance toward it, however well-hidden that opposition happens to be - indeed even the thought that it is possible to restore it all seems to make something snap (if not crackle and pop) 'inside'.

Okay, so I have a question. Is this why supernatural manifestation is tested on the basis of genuine holiness? Like Padre Pio or other Saints who manifested spiritual gifts that were definitely supernaturally bestowed by Christ, like in Acts when the disciples spoke other languages by the Holy Spirit or St. Pio’s reading of consciences. Obviously you have to humbly rely on Jesus to reveal to you the situation before you as the priest exorcist said multiple times, but it sounds like satan just demonically tries to copy, through evil, the Gifts of the Holy Spirit so as not to be detected. I suppose that the litmus test, in times that satan has worked hard to conceal his presence in the supernatural activity going on, would be the aversion to holiness/holy items? Like… you could have two people smiling and speaking other languages, but put them both in the presence of the Eucharist and…. you will know clearly? Or the holy individual will continually over time display that genuine holiness and fruits of holiness bestowed by Christ, as St. Pio did when he was under investigation? Why would an exorcist begin with the less potent “new rite” and then switch to the traditional one only when he needs an extra oomph? Why did the Church compose such one new rite which is less authoritative and strong? Father failed to mention that Latin is a sign of unity and the devil hates unity.

I am so glad that the Catholic Church still provides this service for its people. Some notes any believer can actually do exorcism, most just don't know it. Hebrew also seems to be effective. It is not at all fun, but God will give you the strength if He has called you to do it.
How about Aramaic and Greek? These are also important languages. Aramaic was Jesus’ mother tongue, while Greek was the original language of the New Testament.

By the way, if you need to pray for deliverance, it's important to get it right - say a little prayer of protection for yourself (the full protection of Christ's Precious Blood), then command the demons to depart (I would send them to the nearest tabernacle containing consecrated Hosts) in the name of Jesus Christ, and command them never to return or retaliate, and then ask the Holy Spirit to come and fill the areas left by the departed demons. I've only ever done this in silence, without the person knowing. I'm a Catholic, but a Protestant friend suggested to me that when, for example, someone is shouting at me or at someone else and frightening them etc, you can pray a silent deliverance prayer. The first time I did this, the angry person stopped shouting and gesticulating and looked bewildered for a moment and then was calm. But this is only what I've experienced. You can get authoritative info from some great books written by priests on exorcism and deliverance prayer. (PS: Some people also say a severance prayer after praying for someone, but I don't know what wording they use.) Prayers of protection are vital. Holy Michael Archangel, for example.
