omg the face is so adorable , I loved it so much and the outfit as well. The only thing I personally didn't like were the pigtails, maybe it's just a bit plain for my tastes but other than that, amazing doll! I totally would love to see more dollies made in this style in the future, sooooo cute ugh

It’s not the pigtails for me it’s just the hairline and how it looks pulled off to the sides like that. Reminds me of my own hairline and why I don’t style it like that. Makes my forehead look big and square 😂

I think this is my favourite face-up you’ve ever done. Personally I didn’t like the way the pigtails stuck out but aside from that I am OBSESSED. The colours, the decorations on the hair and face, reminds me so much of a pastel, wispy fairy. so stunning xx

I just can't get over her hair, everything else is stunning, but the way her hair is styles is making her face look so square-

I was waiting for her to boil wash the hair down, or at least style it, I was a little confused because the awkward hairline is very noticeable.
I personally think it adds to her! She doesn’t have to have a slim face or a perfect hairline!
@@Extroverted. I agree, but I feel like it gives the effect of a digital painting where the hair is rendered on a different layer loosely and then cut down to cover the right spots and vice versa imo
yeah, and i thought she was gonna boil wash it- they stick out so much- personally i would have boil washed, let her hair down and then did 2 smaller pigtails? like half up half down? or idk. or just not done the pigtails at all. but the doll is still cute
This doll has a beautiful face, and I love the pajama theme! You should totally make a slumber party trio with the Draculaura and Clawdeen dolls! It reminds me of the Monster High Dead Tired line, which holds a very special place in my heart, because they were the first Monster High dolls I ever got at age 7. This doll is amazingly cute, great job!
Edit: Also, what doll stands do you use? I've lost most of my original Monster High stands, but I want to display my collection. Your stands seem to work really well.

@@levie5983 my first video was heartstruck cupid I've been around for quite a while! But yea I've never really felt my mood change from a video until her videos either but she's so amazing! it's great to know that other people grew up watching her and she was their intro to the doll repaint community. and I love the fact that there are kids who are discovering her and learning as well! I'm young so I haven't entirely grown up yet but she will be a fond memory for decades to come and I cant wait to see her evolve more!

As soon as she mentioned what type of doll look she was going for I got so excited. I love sleepy dolls and I also love that semi realistic soft look. She absolutely nailed the look and vibe of this doll, plus that mint and pink combo?! Perfection
It's so cool watching your artistic evolution from your earlier videos to the more recent- eyebrows don't seem to give you nearly as much trouble, and your eyes have gotten *crazily* detailed!

The face up is so different from your usual style, it's truly beautiful. She has a hauntingly wistful angelic look. This is probably your best face up to date which is accentuated by the simplicity of her overall design. No complicated body modification with a ton of popsicle sticks and bolts allowing your artistic talents to shine bright. Without a doubt, the Dollightful Mona Lisa. The only feedback would be to boil the pigtails so instead of stick out they lay flatter in a more natural way.

I LOVE the faceup on this doll! The way you drew it strongly resembles Etellan's dolls - I actually thought it was a collaboration at first; her doing the face and you doing the clothes. I love how you can do both a cutesy cartoony style of face as well as a more grounded and soft face as well. Also, it's nice to see artists work with the cheaper dolls. As someone who purchased their doll fodder off eBay you get some cheapos mixed in with the good stuff. It's always rewarding to make something good with them, like you've spited the manufacturers. Amazing work as always! ❤️
I saw the title and went "ME ?!" 😭💕 This faceup is so nice and soft !! And I love her colour palette much, you always work fantastically with pastels~
If you decide to make Minty some friends, I think it could be a fun opportunity to experiment with even more different styles! Because they're all dream/sleep themed, it would make sense if they didn't have coherent styles, seeing as dreams rarely ever connect. (Also, I love the comfy theme. Hope you had a relaxing winter break!)

I love the sparkles around the face, they remind me of the watery, bleary-eyed stage of waking up/going to bed. So cute!
And the pink/green pallet, pajamas, and name remind me of Minty from generation 3 of my little pony! I was OBSESSED with her growing up, and she still makes me happy today :) I doubt you intended it but it absolutely made my day.

One of my favorite things about your channel is how creatively extreme you make some of your customs, like learning new styles of jointed tails, making giant LED antlers, etc. But I also love seeing you do things that are simple and comfortable just because you love them!

Gorgeous!! When I first saw the thumbnail, I thought she even had inset eyes because of how delicate and detailed! Because her skin is green, her arms are stiff, and you can still see a stitch molded on her leg, I like imagining that she's a zombie newly-risen from the grave- and she's still not quite awake yet!

OMG she’s adorable! A bit more realistic than usual but I’m loving it! She has that tired look in her eyes and the jewel sparkles are awesome. And yes the mint green and pink color palate is definitely iconic Dollightful!

I love the idea of a sleepy time trio! It's a great way to have a simpler project between your super ambitious ones. Also its a way to use those stiff dolls that are undesirable for other projects!

Also, I don’t think this was intentional but the beads you added to her face sorta resemble acne spots, which I think is rest cool! I feel like acne representation at all is something that’s never seen, so a cute, sparkly version of it on a pretty looking doll is something I really appreciate seeing, especially as someone who has struggled with acne for 6 years :,)

Hey maybe you can do a sleepy cloud princess, like a doll that looks like she's been sleeping on a cloud and do a sort of pastel cloud theme for her. I think pink, pale yellow and lilac would be a great colour scheme for her. You could even do her a little pet like a cute flying foal or flying bunny!

It's always a delight to watch you try a new thing! A thought that struck me about doll teeth is how they're often painted on last, with pure white, meaning they get little to no shading. I think that might be why at least me personally sometimes struggle with thinking it looks cohesive with the rest of the faceup. Regardless, mint and light pink is a delicious comfy combo.
I love the videos where you just do dolls you enjoy, because they flow and you can see how much fun you're having! Plus, I too am unable to resist pink.

Yeah with the way it’s put up the forehead looks oddly large and it’s just a lot going on with the hair. Low pigtails would have been cuter for a sleepover custom imo. But I appreciate the artist and I think the doll is beautiful no matter what!
