Ordered! And I just got my e-book with all the wallpapers, and how lovely they are. So peaceful. What a generous bonus for your readers!
Thank you really appreciate it!
Congrats! That shot of the lone swimmer is absolutely stunning. Wonderful work.
Thanks man
You are a delightfull artist. It´s always a pleasure watching your images and listening to your discourse.
Cheers mate
Just catching up on your videos, Paul. Brilliant, brilliant stuff. Great production work and vibe. And congrats on the new book :-) I’ll get my order in. Pleased to hear you’re back on the photography horse :-) And yes, focus is overrated. Cheers, Matt
He Matt welcome back
Bravo Paul!
Inspiring work. Your emotions are evident in your photography. There is a quietness, a calmness, and something gentle in your work. The shadows and graininess are wonderful. The books are a nice size, part of the simplicity of the photography. Well done. I am ordering my second book from you.
Thankyou very kind words, take care!
Cracking vid.... Awesome photo's...... & purchased the book :-) Cheers Paul :-)
Thanks mate
I love to see you living the Being! Thank you!

Beautiful work Paul. Thanks and congrats on getting it out there.
Thanks Grant, hope your well
Got your book in the mail today and I love it!
Thanks for letting me know Thomas, glad you enjoyed it!
I like your bit about focus, to me the 2 images are as you say and about the light, the luminance that give the feelings that's more important.
Anyway a great looking book and from the title not what I was expecting.
Congratulations
Thanks Andrew
great book, just ordered it and i am already excited to hold it in my hands, my best regards, sabine
Thank you Sabine I appreciate the support
Great video top work!
Thanks Erik
Have ordered your book in this moment! Hopefully sending to Germany is not too expensive. Thanks, Paul!
Thank You Markus
👋👍
So many beautiful stories in such a compact book. Thoughtful and thought provoking; I look forward to receiving my copy. Thank you, Paul.
Thanks Chris, posted today
Re your comment about being focused: Lyle Lovett wrote and sang, and Willie Nelson covered, a song called “If I Were the Man that You Wanted,” which contains the line, “If I were the man that you wanted, I would not be the man that I am.”
Wow that's a great line! Exactly!
love all the works and thanks for making videos all the time!
Thankyou Ryan, really appreciate it!
Book orders. Looking forward to seeing it. Love your other two books
Thank you David
Congratulations on the new book launch! Totally agree with comments on focus as I often find there are shots that are out of focus that like an impressionist painting, it becomes symbolic and so can convey a message all the better.
Cheers mark
I really like the sequences. I have used sequences to tell a story with time and I am inspired to incorporate it into a family project I am mapping out. A lighting bolt innovative idea was your comment about the sequence with the children playing in the water feature that the sequence of individually inadequately compositions fulfilled a vision wasn't captured in any of the individual images. That is brilliant and now I have a new tool in my toolbox!
Good luck with the new tool!
As Cartier Bresson said: “focus is a bourgeois concept”
I love that!
Really interesting, thoughtful work. The final image, of the deflated balloon, strikes me as rather melancholy as opposed to peaceful, though, with its suggestion that we’re all very possibly at the end of something.
Hi Michael, yes I agree. Probably didn't articulate that very well. Glad you saw that in the picture.
Top work mate lovely looking book I’ll order In the morning cheap delivery for ya 😂
Hey man thanks
Great stuff and congrats on an interesting collection of work. I'm torn with my own photography with the current expectation that I'll die with no one really seeing my work like this. Just as well I'm a lone wolf who believes strongly in the philosophy of stoicism ... so it doesn't worry me too much. I do however need to print a few books for my own personal viewing pleasure. As always, thanks for the inspiration Paul.
Hi Tim thanks mate, I'm working on that Instagram vid
@@PaulCSmithPhotographer what ? The fact that its a dying platform for still photographers now that Instagram are chasing the explosion of Tik Tok and quick mindless videos of children prancing around? Lol. Just a heads up if you haven't already seen... theres already a heap of photographers covering this off. Back to Flickr maybe ...?...
If there’s one person to sell New Zealand to the world, it’s PCS! Someone needs to speak to Jacinda about an NZ ambassadorship. ‘Magnum’ images. Thank you!
Thank you George
No one needs to sell me on New Zealand - I’d move there in a heartbeat if they’d allow it.
Who isolated you? And why did you submit to these criminals?
What ever your on, can I have some?
