Life happens while your busy doing something else isn't that what they say. We all have weird years,days,months. What ever you can do for the chanel is fine. Lets face it social media is relentless. It can be too much sometimes. We all have real lives behind the scenes and sometimes it needs more attention. Glad to hear though that your alive and kicking and look forwzrd to whatever you can do as often as your able . Can i say to everyone here that the books are great.

I spent time in NZ with my Dad so the scenery in your videos and the two books always brings back good memories. Take care 👍🏻

Outstanding content as always mate, stunning imagery. Glad to see you're still with us. It's good to have a break from this you tube thing once in a while, clear the head recharge the batteries etc, for me personally when life sticks another size 9 docker into my sore spuds I grab a stills camera, something to shoot video with and head out somewhere. It gives me a focus and more importantly a distraction from my bad choices and decisions it really does help me to keep a loose grip on my sanity haha...seriously.... Looking forward to seeing more of your work in '24 in your own time mate less is more and all that, like the value of a mass produced camera verses a hand crafted camera. RIP Trevor, condolences to his mates and fam.

So good to see you again Paul. Like many I guess, I had wondered why you had been 'silent' and hoped nothing badly serious had happened to you. I look up at the print of the old piano I have on my wall most mornings and think I really must get the M 8 out again, so even though you have not been around on RUclips you influence still endures.

2023 has been a full-on crap year for a lot of us. After 12 years of doing "Akiwiretrospective" blog I hit a wall around August this year and like you just had to stop and step away for a bit. Add to that losing a son in-law and being ill for over 8 months didn't help.
Hopefully 2024 will be a better year for both of us and everyone else as well.
Looking forward to your next video whenever you feel like it, all the best for the new year.
Edit: Just watched your video re Trevor and his boat. Do you know if he ever got it back sailing?
