Paul - your favourite postings were always where you took us on the process to find and take the image. Then you go home post-process and print, then put up the beautiful print for sale. We're hoping you can do some of that in the future. Anyway, great to see you doing content again. Remember though, we understand that life is more than just photos, and sometimes life itself gets in the way and one must attend to those things first.
Thanks Phillip!
Fly safe photographer Paul Smith. Listen to that M8 ptchunk when it captures your minds eye, what a feeling. Glad you have uploaded, like many, you have been in my thoughts when you had to go. Very happy you are here with us . Kind regards R
Thanks Richard
It's great to have you back Paul. I really like your plan for future videos ... just taking us along as you work through the process of finding images and working them through.
Best of the New Year to you.
Thank you!
Back in the game baby! 📷 😎 👌
Pleasure to watch another video from you. 👍
Welcome back to RUclips, Paul! Another wonderful video.
A lovely way for my 6 year old daughter and I to chill out this evening :)
Love that little house/shed you found
Nice to see and hear you !
Best wishes to you!
Paul - I just ordered "Incidents of Isolation." I bought "Black Sands" about a year ago. Sorry to hear 2023 was difficult for you. Be encouraged by knowing your work on here is an inspiration for many people. Your style is very real and unpretentious and it comes across in the videos. Have a great new year.
Thanks mate really appreciate the support.
Glad you back
Paul,
Nice video. Weather you produce great photos are not we appreciate your videos great work 👍
Nice to see and hear you.
Very good video.
Happy New Year!
Since I aquired my Lumix mf3 cameras GX9 and G9 I've never enjoyed the process of taking photos as much
The ibis has freed me from tripods and filters and I just take what I see, like your old shed in this video
My heavier DSLRS were a pain to haul around and set up on tripods with filters 😂📷👍
Another great video as always, glad your back & I thoroughly enjoyed your 2 books I bought a while ago, so thanks 👍📷
Glad you like them!
Lovely to see you again, Paul. That bridge reminds me of Monet’s bridge. Absolutely beautiful.
Hi Lucas, hope your well. Reminds me of Lord Of The Rings. Take care!!
Hey Paul, good to see you back mate. Best wishes for 2024.
Same to you
Happy to see you back again!
Almost had to adjust the white balance of my monitor watching this due to those "winter legs" of yours! :) Lovely to see another video so soon matey. HYN and all the best for the coming blogs/year! Cheers ~ Peter
Stop it! Black shorts made the legs look pale.
really happy to see your work once more! I deleted earlier comment! Enjoy the video.
Thanks mate.
Great Video Paul, I agree Paul, Photography Trips are about exploration and discovery, I personally believe there was nothing wrong with the bridge, it was just the wrong time, close to dawn with some mist and it would have been wonderful, the old shed, great texture and lots of perspectives, and great "paul smith" skies! thanks for sharing
Nice work Paul great to see ya back out there, awesome location I've shot the river mouth plenty but never ventured to the bridge. To be honest I thought that LE shot was sound. Keep em coming mate all the best for '24. MOT.
I encountered similar with the river and bridge. Sometimes the long exposure water shots don’t come out as dramatic if the river isn’t fast enough or rough enough on the long exposure. The cabin shots I really enjoyed. Very timeless. Your clock in your camera needs to be set Paul LOL!! 😅. So happy you’re back making videos. I really missed coming along with you in your videos. Keep up the great work. Thanks for making this new videos brother!
Thanks man appreciate it!
loved the hut photos. With the M8, you should carry an R72 filter for those IR shots. I think it would have worked well with those subjects.
Sounds good,
LE's aren't the be all and end all ... I hardly even bother taking LE's during daylight .
Each to there own ....
This channel is always so peaceful!
