  • This session on PLC Ride Controls is presented by industry professional Eric Verhage. Eric graduated in Spring 2019 from Ohio State University with a Bachelor's in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a minor in Business. At OSU he was a member of their Theme Park Engineering Group and was on the e-board that helped plan the first SITE conference. Currently, he is employed as an aerospace and electrical engineer at Calspan Corporation in Buffalo, NY where he designs and upgrades electrical and control systems.

    Excellent presentation but one minor mistake at the beginning. I think it is mentioned that an “or logic “has input contacts in series, but this may not be the case. I think logic and “or logic” should have input in parallel to energize a really.

    Yes hi I'm new to working on these type of controllers I'm working on one that keeps throwing a FL code. Function loss. External open-end circuit have you ever heard of it?
