I walked into a Chabad event the other day wearing a knee-length crew cut dress. My rabbi’s wife came up to me and commented on how modestly and elegantly that was dressed and said that it was very rare for people my age (I’m in my twenties). Obviously a compliment but made me so sad to think what a literal rabbi’s wife has to interact with on a daily basis if she made a specific effort to point out the modesty of my outfit. Love look #4, just discovered your channel and you are absolutely amazing. Keep up the great work and fighting for modesty, tradition, and elegance 🌸💖
It’s interesting that Abby mentioned that she mainly wears leggings and a Tshirt but just last year she shit all over women who regularly wore Athleisure wear.
She literally says, "most of the time I'm in somewhat comfortable clothing that is still fashionable to me, but isn't just leggings and a t-shirt." If you follow her Instagram too, you'll see she never wear leggings and a t-shirt anyways.
As an observant Jewish woman I do not wear jeans. I think they accentuate the thighs and rear and that is not considered modest. The blouse is nice though!
You keep using the word "modest", but I am not sure you understand what it really means. You're calling it modest but it's just what you deem not to be excessive, eye-catching or inappropriate. Modest fashion is not this. Perhaps the only real modest look was the one with the silk skirt all in all. It's ok not to be modest, you don't need to use all these labels to feel like you're a better woman. It's all good. Free yourself from these silly labels.
hmm, hell yeah, you make them work, so pretty and beautiful. 4 is my favourite, I mean who can resist sundresses, but with different colours tho, not a fan of yellow 😂
