Out of all the points in this video, I didn't expect the point about hair color to bother me so much. I would never dye my hair, but how does hair color correlate to being normal? How many "normal" people have brown or black hair and are crazy? Some women like being different and expressing themselves through hair color. That doesn't mean that a woman would be a bad wife or mother. Also, about the "typical guy" comment, I'm in college and many guys I've met don't want children, so I'd hardly call the desire for children typical to most men.

@ebonidaneen5639 It's not a red flag at any age. I love a good dye job. There's irony in her calling out "unnatural" hair color while she's got unnaturally pink-painted eyelids and metal in her ears. She'd probably say "oh, but that's normal". so what? Her argument that unnatural hair color means someone who doesn't want to be "normal" and thus someone who wouldn't make a good partner is idiotic. This is non sequitur defined.
Disagree with the hair color. I have baby pink hair. I’m also married, with two kids, am very plugged into my church, and am a sahm. It’s very narrow minded to judge someone by their hair color. Thanks for judging me though.
If you color your hair, you are broken and unworthy of love. Sorry, them's the breaks. You gotta love Abby for how narrowly she defines an acceptable conservative life
@@b.k8051 right? I grew up with a conservative mom for whom makeup and high heels were for "sluts and hussies" but Abby pushes makeup and heels. She really thinks her way of being conservative, is the only way...
My husband didn't want a stay at home wife or stay at home mother lol He wanted a educated woman with drive and ambitions of her own. Sometimes Abigail needs to look at different perspectives that are not up her own narcissistic self-righteousness lol My husband watched this video with me and thinks she's unhinged. She's basically saying to be stepford or be wrong lmao
You found a man who likes a woman who has her own life, practices her own autonomy and enjoys to express herself regardless of what others think? Ooh, how gauche.
Yeah; Abby doesn’t say this, but IMO her advice is best geared towards conservative men, not men in general. I know “girl boss” women (a demeaning term for career-oriented women), atheists, and people with unnatural hair colors who are in what seem like happy marriages. I don’t think Abby’s criteria should disqualify anyone from finding love … they just need to find someone who’s similar.
@@AnnSmajstrlaoverly oriented career women (like men) are a red flag, a person whether man or woman whom puts career too high on the list, is a walking red flag 🚩
I don''t get the atheist thing. I am an atheist but I follow the 10 commandments. I love kids and have two of my own. You don't need to be religious to have a stable and happy family.
No, but usually having faith as a foundation for one’s family tends to but not always leads to more stability for family unity (like less divorce) but it still happens I know
@@Lilagrace326not necessarily true. I went to school in area that had a high divorce rate because people married young. I also live in state that has a high p*rn and prescription drug use.
For religious people it's difficult to be in relationships with atheist. For instance, my faith is extremely important to me and I want my husband to share it with me, so that we could pray together and go to service together, and of course raise our children in faith too.
I watch Abby’s videos from time to time because I find them interesting, though I don’t usually agree with her opinions and point of view. However, this video’s message is incredibly close-minded and judgmental. We shouldn’t be telling people who they should or shouldn’t date, marry, etc…. These are opinions and certainly aren’t facts. Humans are infinitely unique and diverse - in all ways. Respectfully, this video is shortsighted.
"We shouldn’t be telling people who they should or shouldn’t date, marry, etc…. " Why not? There are people that you should avoid: the lazy, the rude, the narcissistic, the liars, the vain, the unfriendly, etc. Some people have more experience with relationships and can give advice about signs to look out for while dating someone. If she behaves a certain way, it is a sign that she is going to get worse or that she would not make a great wife/mother.
I wanted to disagree with her on that point so bad, but the thing is, I have never met a woman with non-natural hair colour who isn't even a little bit alternative or contrarian to the "typical", as she puts it. I have college friends who dyed their hair pink, green, fire-engine-red, and the moment they get serious with a guy, out comes their natural colour. The most extreme case was a friend who had pink anime hair all throughout her relationship, but when she got that ring, she started growing out her dark brown locks, just in time for her wedding. So, she's at least a little bit right. I'd love to read about the psychology behind hair colour. I think there's something interesting there.
couple of thoughts i had watching this video.... so men shouldn't date a woman who puts their career first, but women should date a man who does? seems unbalanced. and the unnatural hair thing is overdone and frankly obsurd. the makeup on your face isn't natural either. and what about dying your hair a natural colour? is it the dye, or the colour? the jump between having unnatural hair and wanting a less than life or being unstable or whatever is so braindead. even if you dont want the "normal guy", it doesnt mean you automatically want something 'less than' or disfunctional or whatever? and insinuating it makes her bad with money is laughable - maybe shes budgeted in, or maybe she just makes more money than you or the male counterpart youre referencing. just a thought. interesting how concerned you are with whats attractive in women. cant help but wonder why. also, it seems that you assume everyone should value god and family and anything less than that is abnormal and inherently harmful. the statements you make are broad and inflammatory and, if you have points could be worded in a way that promotes actual communication instead of division - for example : saying that you shouldn't date a woman who doesnt want kids because its "unnatural" doesn't make sense, but saying you shouldn't date someone who doesn't want kids if you know you do, because its obvious you both want different things and will only try change eachother to fit a mould you want, rather than accepting and loving the person as is, makes more sense. To suggest that anything less than the god centred , male led family unit is wrong and a woman that is comfertable with something other than that is also wrong just seems uninformed and misguided. my mother was devoutly christian and abusive as a result. perhaps instead of saying "women men should avoid", which does nothing but cause division, make people see these women you speak of as less than or broken, and just come off as quite judgmental, you could've said "women for conservative, christian, hetero-normative men to avoid" or "women i think men should avoid", or maybe you just should'nt have made this video. again, just a thought. god bless also foot note. why would you marry someone just to try force them to want kids?? maybe some people marry solely to love the person they're with. thats ok. wanting kids is also okay. forcing someone to want then is not. not everyone has to change your values, just find someone whos on the same page. if you want these things, cool, but thats you.
Awesome dear, more blessings to you! I would think you'd know already that this video isn't for you 😃😇. It's for Christians and probably Jews. You know, religious and traditional people. What are you doing here causing yourself stress?! 🥹

I wonder if Abby would trust her children enough to come up with their own opinions about these things, or if she plans to slam her own judgments and opinions onto them so they don’t even have the chance to develop their own ideas.
Given how entitled she feels to tell complete strangers how to live AND that she pushes legislation along the same lines, her kids don't have a chance.

The same with men: 1. If your man married his job, don't marry him because you (and your kids) will always be in a competition with his work. 2. If a man can't cook, he's no go. Cooking and cleaning are LIFE skills, and life has no gender. 3. Judging people by their hair is stupid. I can judge you by length of your hair and yours isn't very long. Is this means you don't want a long life? Also if she's maintaining her hair colour for a very long time, it means she is good with money. 4. Atheist - it's between the couple. 5. Children - it's between the couple. It's not your business, Abby. Leave people alone.
Family life is not the equivalent of suburban life. You might find staying in the same house for 50 years and repeating the same daily routine appealing, but for many people, that's soul-crushing boredom.
she doesn't. she is an entrepreneur working in social media. her life is dynamic and she's constantly creating new content and staying up to date with technology. she merely espouses that stay-at-home "family life" rhetoric. do as i say, not as i do.
@@annamolly2549 she's fallen into the classic content creator rut. Whether it's tech reviews or makeup tutorials or alt-right indoctrination, they all find themselves doing the same thing over and over again. I guarantee you she's going to do Temu hauls soon. It's inevitable lol

Not gonna lie, while all of this is completely nuts, nothing beats the fear of women with dyed hair. Like her thesis is that if you have purple hair you are either deliberately or accidentally chasing away "typical guys" who are scared of that sort of thing. Oh no she wants a partner who isn't a whiny baby? How dare she.
I cook for a living, have virgin hair down to my butt, child-free, atheist, don't want to get married at all and have been in a relationship with my partner for almost 5 years now (it's still going strong btw). Men love all kinds of women. Maybe the men you surround yourself with wouldn't find us attractive, but WHY would we want them to?! Keep them away.
Being an atheist doesn't take a very specific type of person, there's millions and millions of athiests around the world, all for different reasons. You can have very good morals by just understanding what is right and wrong, god really is not required for that and if you need a higher power to remind you that stealing etc is wrong then im worried. Good community doesn't require faith either. There are tons of supportive communities out there that can support you through raising a family. Friends, family, hobby groups, hell even coffee morning groups. Faith is not required at all and if anything is just a carrier to facilitate these groups, a carrier which can be substituted for any of the other things i mentioned previously. Warning against alternative hair colour is also wild to me and really highlights how people like this are effectively just sheltering themselves, refusing to question the status quo in life. I'd say its more dangerous to be blissfully ignorant and refuse to question the norm than to get to know someone who has started on that journey and asks questions in life. Not wanting kids is perfectly acceptable too. I think we should be looking at why people don't want kids. Expensive? The world they would be born into? Family history of health issues? Pursuing other things in life like hobbies or career? All of these things are acceptable. Ultimately this entire video could have been summed up by saying date people who align with your world views. Simple.
My ex-gf was not a girl boss, she wanted kids and was religious. I do not miss her at all. My current girlfriend is a girl boss, Childfree and an Atheist and she's the best girlfriend ever. Oh yeah, we do the dirty deed outside of marriage because we do not want to get married.
As a lesbian (who’s opinion nobody asked for lol), I want a girl who expresses herself in whatever way she wants, I would want to help her excel in her carrier, She can’t cook? No problem, I love cooking and take out is amazing. Children are something I don’t want us to think about until we have a strong relationship, And kids sound like a good decision for me after 30. Marriage and kids are something I learned to wait for, My mom had me young and married because of it and that ended up horrible. If she is a atheist that is perfectly fine! Christians are people who are supposed to be kind to everyone, If my girlfriend was a atheist and I was Christian I would strive to make being a Christian something she would want to become because of my example. Lots of women (like myself) are afraid of giving birth. When people are looking for women, They want them to be worried about building a good relationship and making sure they are both ready during the topic of children. Thanks if you read all that, This is just my opinion and im not trying to attack, argue, offend anyone. Have fun everyone ^^
This was a hard pill to swallow. I was good till number 5… I struggle with mental health issues, and I just feel it is irresponsible to pass that genetically down. However, I also do not really date because I do not want someone to be around if I am having a bad day… I wish I could find more videos of women who need to be alone and dedicate their femininity in other ways.
Abby, I grew up in a religious household, in fact I was raised Jewish. I had a baby naming, a bat mitzvah all of it. I feel very connected to the Jewish community but I don’t follow the Jewish religion. I am an atheist, I would have no issue dating someone religious.
I am a stay at home mom to four. I do all of the cooking and cleaning and have very strong morals. I am also an atheist. I grew up split between catholic/mormon families which left a horrible impression on me. I never want my kids to feel like my love for them is conditional. We have very open conversations about values and spirituality. The main thing that rules our family is love. I completely agree with you but there can be an exception to the rule.
so if your husband left you, you'd have no means of survival? What would you do? You have no job, no money, no nothing. Just four kids and a bunch of dinner recipes. Please tell me you have a couple hundred thousand dollars saved up somewhere in case shit hits the fan. Every woman needs to have money of her own.
I am Christian homeschool mama of 3, I have a bachelors degree in Language teaching but we decided together (husband and I) I stay home taking care of the little ones and we’ve been happily married for ten years. I love my husband and honor him as the provider of our home with cleaning and cooking and making sure he feels how much we appreciate him. I am grateful he guides us closer to God everyday; we serve at our church and put our faith as a priority. My God, my husband and my kids are my world. I never leave comments on videos and I really appreciate your content there aren’t many conservative mamas sharing their lives as open as you do, thank you for that. The point about hair color, I have my hair color lavender right now 😅 I really enjoy playing with my hair style and my husband loves it. I don’t do it often because yes is expensive but as birthday gift, mother’s day or Christmas I choose to change my style. I dress in a modest and stylish way by choice and I like to play with my hair color and length often and that doesn’t take away the desire to fulfill my duty as wife, mother and servant of the Lord. God bless you and your family Abby 🤍
I don’t know how I feel about this. So many exceptions to this rules. 1. Girl boss. With Digital Marketing you can be a “girl boss” and work 2 or 3 hours daily so you can HAVE more time for family and kids. So in that sense, being a girl boss would be the MEANS to the end to have more time with your family. 2. Homemaking/cooking. Its important and everyone, men and women should learn the basics. I didn’t growing up. 3. The colored hair. When I was a teen I wanted blue strands and it didn’t mean any of this. I just liked how it looked and that was it. It may mean what you say for some people though. 4. Atheist. I was raised by atheists and I became a christian at 16. I do think that even though you can absolutely be somewhat moral and atheist, there are also so many things that are going to be missing for a family without God. 5. Yes. I agree. Also at this point, there is no way to 100% prevent kids so what is going to happen with that? This is very important.

I agree with all of your points, as for a first date which had food, I wanted to make a meal for what is now my wife for 22 years. I had the meat filling made and I said I would finish making them after my night class but that I didn't know how to steam the cabbage but the real surprise was coming back to my apartment and smelling that they were done, but not in the stock pot like I was expecting because her family made them in the oven and they tasted better than I expected.
You are SO right! Another one is women who say they're "sexually free". Also, I am a pizza on a first date person. Also, children leaves an imprint that you existed. They leave behind your legacy.
Now about the dying hair crazy colors it’s not always true but it tends to be true-should we be generalizing not necessarily but I have noticed most unconventional presented women don’t desire conventional lives, this is especially common for young women like college age and then they sometimes grow out of it and settle down but they sometimes don’t so it’s not 100% true but more of a stereotype but there’s a reason why stereotypes are made in the first place

@b.k8051 If you judge someone for having colored hair, you're the definition of an asshole. Sorry, but that's called judging a book by its cover.
She’s always narrow minded. U should look at her video when she called Taylor swift “not an actual woman”
@@MadsRowland-rj2dt but Taylor doesn't even color her hair! Abby needs to get her shit together because she's breaking her own rules
What if the man in question is himself child free or a non-believer?
In that case, it is better if the woman is child free and has no religious faith.
Haha who hurt you that had colorful hair😂
My husband didn't want a stay at home wife or stay at home mother lol He wanted a educated woman with drive and ambitions of her own. I dye my hair pink, plum, and other colors and my husband loves it! Especially when I wear pretty or stylish outfits that compliments my hair.
Ever heard of statistical outliers ? It sounds like both you and your husband might be unhinged because my married parents agree with this lol

I don''t get the atheist thing. I am an atheist but I follow the 10 commandments. I love kids and have two of my own. You don't need to be religious to have a stable and happy family.
She’s just judging something that she doesn’t understand.
This girls embarrassing
No, but usually having faith as a foundation for one’s family tends to but not always leads to more stability for family unity (like less divorce) but it still happens I know
@@Lilagrace326not necessarily true. I went to school in area that had a high divorce rate because people married young.
I also live in state that has a high p*rn and prescription drug use.
For religious people it's difficult to be in relationships with atheist. For instance, my faith is extremely important to me and I want my husband to share it with me, so that we could pray together and go to service together, and of course raise our children in faith too.
That's not possible, more than half of the ten commandments are about God. If you follow them, you are not an atheist.
This makes me want to color my hair something fun lol.
Your reasoning for the colored hair thing is insane! 😂😂😂
To suggest that anything less than the god centred , male led family unit is wrong and a woman that is comfertable with something other than that is also wrong just seems uninformed and misguided. my mother was devoutly christian and abusive as a result.
perhaps instead of saying "women men should avoid", which does nothing but cause division, make people see these women you speak of as less than or broken, and just come off as quite judgmental, you could've said "women for conservative, christian, hetero-normative men to avoid" or "women i think men should avoid", or maybe you just should'nt have made this video. again, just a thought. god bless
also foot note. why would you marry someone just to try force them to want kids?? maybe some people marry solely to love the person they're with. thats ok. wanting kids is also okay. forcing someone to want then is not. not everyone has to change your values, just find someone whos on the same page. if you want these things, cool, but thats you.
My man chose me BECAUSE I'm an atheist who doesnt want kids. He's an atheist too who also doesnt want kids.
That's great I'm in the same boat. Its crazy the way she talks in this video like there is only one way to live life its so narrow minded.
Amen! I feel so bad for Abby's kids. Especially if they are liberal and ::gasp:: gay.

The same with men:
Women who are on social media at all and pretend to be conservatives
Family life is not the equivalent of suburban life. You might find staying in the same house for 50 years and repeating the same daily routine appealing, but for many people, that's soul-crushing boredom.
she doesn't. she is an entrepreneur working in social media. her life is dynamic and she's constantly creating new content and staying up to date with technology. she merely espouses that stay-at-home "family life" rhetoric. do as i say, not as i do.
@@b.k8051she isn’t even doing a good job of “creating” content. She recycles the same shit over and over.

I love my colored hair and tattoos! I have a medical condition that makes me not have control of my body sometimes. Coloring my hair and getting tattoos are the best way to have control. If a guy can’t handle me who works, and has her own strong personality, I’m looking for the wrong guy
Simple.
Woh you transitioned from male to female quite well

What if the man doesn't want kids either?
