My dad schooled with Murali in mid 80's in St. Anthony's College (Sanga's school's arch rival school). My dad was the head prefect of the school while Murali was in the school Cricket team. Murali went on to become a world class cricketer and my dad became a TV show host.

for those who don't know murlitharan still balls at the nets whenever he gets a chance even at this age. i came to know about this during the matcch in ipl 2023 between mi and sunrisers hyd. there is actually a time period reserved for murli practising his bowling. just amazing to see someone's dedication even when he has retired.
Sanga and kallis rank higher than Sachin and lara in list of all time test great batsman only after don bradman and Gary sobers. Living legends of this era.
