I'm happy to hear that man. I sometimes doubt myself when stories that I two in love with, don't do so well. I genuinely loved this one. So really glad to have someone who liked it too
Australia is truly a fortress. It takes a lot more than just skills to win there. It takes sheer grit, passion and will to play till the very last breath. Be it India in BGT or England in Ashes or West Indies or any other test playing nation, they all have suffered but show true character in Australia.
The Australian team became pretty strong during the late 90s under Steve Waugh's captaincy and in the case of WI they had been beating the Australian team for the last 16 years even in Australian conditions, So 1995 when Australia had pretty talented and skillful youngster players and a captain with the experience of Steve Waugh they managed to end WI's winning streak and later outclass WI for good
I didn't knew about him but looking at that test match & what he did for WI is nothing short of a absolute magic. Injuries,Age & Heat makes even the best bowler have a bad day & Curtly had all but still decided to bowl. Hats off to him & his team
@@Az22490 Before I got a interest in Cricket he was already retired so I didn't know about him. I know Brain Lara because he was an extraordinary player but Curtly I didn't know unfortunately
It’s a utter shame that we lost West Indies in modern world. Being a 90s kid I faintly remember their dying cricket and during 2011 World Cup it was completely destroyed, with glimpses of what they were in t20 wc. Along with aus Ind nz sa Eng it would have been so thrilling to see wi with their tall fast bowlers running and bowling at 150 kmph and their batsmen hitting same pace delivery out of the park.
I love the way you do your voice-over on your videos. As a new cricket fan from Indonesia, it's exciting to learn about the historical lore of the sport.
I follow Indonesian cricket too. Aku suka bangett Indonesia. I'm pretty sure that the women's team (ranked 20 in the world) is improving very quickly and will be challengers in the next 5 years, just like the Thailand women team's journey. It's cool that your domestic competitions are also improving now. Indonesia definitely has amazing potential in cricket.
I was not really familiar with Courtly Ambrose but he's going to be my inspiration for me always and this is the moment that is captured, deep... deep in my mind. Thankyou for this amazing video,
Just brilliant video, one of your best. This guy has to be my favourite bowler ever, even though I didn't see him live. I don't think I've seen any other such beautifully natural athletic action. Magnificent brutal talent, and the attitude to back it up. Legend.
27 years later this January 2024, west Indies won on the Aussie soil ❤ so happy n proud and yet again in this win was a bowler as man of the match, shammer
i always share your video with my friend whos also a cricket fan ^^ also your time of upload is PERFECT. I cant eat my supper without watching something and sometimes my food gets colder while i look through the internet looking to watch a quick video and somedays like today i just had to open youtube and click on your vid lol
That's really high praise man. It's the same way with me too, have to watch something while eating. I'm watching shark tank reruns right now 😅 i hope you enjoyed the video man. And really really thanks for sharing it helps a lot🙏
I didn't even knew him but now I've nothing but immense respect for this legend. 🙏👏 PS - This is your best one yet. Do mire narration like this man 👏☺️
My brother who is no more now due to an accident was a huge Walsh and Ambrose fan. He would praise their precision even when they take Indian wickets, which use to irritate me. He would say, world will never see a duo like that again. They are like brothers in a war field who try to give the best for others sake. He used to say that, never will we see players like Ambrose and Walsh in world cricket again such grit, skill and sheer-will just to blow a perfect ball. It's not that batsmen are better these days, it's actually we don't have bowlers like these guys. He was right.
Do a video on jumbo Anil Kumble please[wearing bandage in head and still battling in a test], in India nobody gives respect that this biggest match winner deserves.
Back when cricket had strong competition between Bowlers and Batsman. Now cricket had become batsman game with conditions and pitches favourable to them.
What a fantastic narrator you are! Have always loved your stories.. This one, no doubt, is the best ever. Your channel isn't subscribed enough. It is quite often that pure gems go unnoticed by many.. But that doesn't change anything, this channel is to be treasured for years to come... Keep going brother!
Who were in the legendary pace quartet ? Because in the 70's and 80's I know there were 5 furious Caribbean bowlers not 4. Andy Roberts, Michael Holding, Colin Croft, Malcolm Marshall and Joel Garner.
I can imagine you telling these tales as bedtime stories to your little children tucked up in bed. Now children, I am going to tell you the story of when Curtly Ambrose bowled 9 no-balls in one over. Can you imagine! Now be quiet and I will begin.
It was pressure, Australia had planned very well for the finals and had the perfect strategy and gameplan to win in both scenarios, Ganguly miscalculated and failed to somewhere utilize the toss to favour India, And even Australia caught our team offguard by attacking from the very first ball and went beserk posting 359/3 which at that time was no less than 400 and the highest total posted in a WC final. And in case of India no one except Sehwag fought hard and became sitting ducks for McGrath and Brett Lee and the Aussies sucessfully choked us and won the World Cup, They used a similiar gameplan to win the 2023 World Cup.
I like the way you make your videos. Very insightful. Horrible voice over though. Its like you're putting fullstops after every. Single. Word. Better punctuation will take your videos to the next level.
Here after west indies defeated australia and shamar joseph took 7 wickets . Cricket is truly beautiful ❤️
This might well be your best narration so far. Especially the final tone and the ending. Man it's fabulous just fabulous

King Curtly. Man I wish I understood what a genius he was when I was a kid watching him play. Deep respect for this humble giant.

This man deserves to narrate every official Indian Cricket documentary to be ever made going forth from this point
Your choice of content and story telling is amazing. Ambrose was the most lethal bowler of his time and my favourite. Keep doing what you do!

Great stuff, man! Love your work. :)
Well a 15 ball over from a legend like Ambrose is better than watching a tripple century by someone... Even those No balls are deadly...
Your narration is so fantastic. The best.

If west indian comes up with this level of hunger, they will surely win in Australiaian soil.

Need a vid on India vs Aus in Gabba!!
Make a detailed video on the problem with west Indies cricket
I liked all your videos ❤❤.but can you trim the video size to 8-10 min .. information is accurate but a bit of lag
Beautiful man…. Absolutely beautiful commentary. ✊🏿
Thank you brother. trying to improve with each vid.😊
Can you also cover domestic cricket stories Eg 1990 Ranji Trophy Final
In your Hindi video you said that Frank Worrell Trophy was started in 1962. Please decide which year😂
60-61 it is.i just checked it.

After reading "West Indies has never won a Test match on Australian soil since." I think about the match West Indies won in Brisbane in 2024.
This is a spot fixing incident which went unnoticed.

Curtly Ambrose was a great fast bowler till the time he met the great Glenn McGrath.
....and then comes Ipl😅 a circus
16 mins is too long to talk about 15 balls 😂😂😂
Twist in the tale - he was under bookies control for the act
Making stories out of every little trivial things🤣🤣

If it was a Pakistani bowler we’d all be wondering how much they were getting paid for all those no balls.
0:41 : The bowler is not Mohammed Amir, it was Pakistani bowler Mohammad Sami who bowled the over against Bangladesh.
Are you new to cricket ??
He did say Mohammad sami
If you dont understand English well then please use the provided caption rather than calling out a mistake which didnt even happen
Telling "are you new to cricket" to a legendary cricket channel, that too a wrong call out😂 Congo brother, instead of looking cool, you became fool
