I can’t believe it Matt. I literally just asked you under your last video if you could make a video about camera angle, settings etc and boom, out already! Super impressed with your work and dedication ❤😊
This video genuinely helped my video quality. Turning off EIS, using gyroflow and changing the aspect ratio to prevent RUclips compression made an immediate and measurable difference in my video quality. Using gyroflow is VERY forgiving. I studied the before and after and it completely removed my wobbly hand movements.
Lol worried about scratching it. Yeah I was. About 1/2 way into my first manual flight. Now I'm seeing how much this thing can take, and it has not let me down!
glad i watched this video.. i have the dji mini 2 but always wanted an fpv.. ordered the avata today, looking forward to learning with it... some great tips in your video matt.. thank you
Great video, thanks. Do you know if you can connect a dji fpv controller to a Samsung tablet? I have the app but I'm currently only able to use the on screen controls.
Parabéns pelo video, ótimas dicas sobre o que fazer e como fazer para não dar errado . Ainda não tive coragem de fazer o meu voo manual, mas em breve vou me aventurar.
It makes a big difference. At the start I couldn't work out why the drone was always flying so fast, changing the gimbal angle was a game changer for me.
Absolutely amazing video thank you so much. My Avata drone turned up this morning, upgrading from a Mavic pro. These videos really helped, and I'm looking forward to making some new videos. Thanks again. 👍👍👍
Matthew - Great video, and excellent series on this model. One suggestion when removing the battery; unplug it first, prior to the squeeze and pull. Makes it easier to remove. Regards - Don
Excellent info! I've already ordered my avata, is on the way. I'm kinda scared by seeing how many features and settings to play with! Lots of things to learn before starting flying it. Thank you so much for the video and, show us more!
Thank you. You will love the Avata. Don't worry, you can get started really quickly. The fun part is learning to use all these features as you get more experienced. Enjoy!
Hello =) Amazing yours footages and tips! I have Tryp FPV simulator, but I can't find the right configuration to DJI Avata before try change to fly on manual mode. I'm from Brazil. Thanks for this great job. Have a nice one!
Thanks for the tips :) one question, how do you record the google screen with the OSD? when I use the DJI app to mirror the screen on cellphone, the OSD does not appear either
Loved your video. Very good tips, I will be using them all. I also went ahead and got a strap for the battery and a strap holder for an apple air tag just to be safe.
Hi there ❤ to anyone who own Avata , I would like to ask does it come with “FOLLOW ME” mode ? I currently have mini 2 and I can have my drone to “FOLLOW ME” shooting video of myself when I’m running or doing my own thing without hands on holding the controller. Since Avata is FPV require goggle to control Everytime. Are there any way to turn on “FOLLOW ME” mode so I can also shooting video of myself WITHOUT goggle on ? Thx for all helping ❤❤❤❤
Hi Thank s For the info My problem is adjusting the diopter What about you ? Was it easy ? I got headaches after using them ! I was trying to adjust them but without results
I love this drone there only problems I’m having it with the DJI goggles I can’t seem to get them while right, I wear glasses just can’t get the focus the way I like it
Hi,, Sorry, I'm a beginner, thanks for the explanation, I have a few questions, after using RC2, do I need to reset it again if I want to use motion control?
Gracias!! Muchas gracias!!
WoW! Good video!🎉❤ Can you tell me what the purpose is of head tracking on the new Goggles? You can look up and down …right and left, but during a flight that wouldn’t be handy right?
This video has really helped me. I have been on the fence about getting this or making my own fpv. What do you think about the idea of making my own? I have anxiety over strapping a Go Pro to a drone but if it gets me stellar results I am willing. Is the Avata just as good now? Thank you! I will be filming a lot of one shot real estate videos.
The biggest downside with RTH on the DJI fpv and avata series is if you get failsafe say while flying under/between trees for example the drone will stop and fly up and so crashing into the tops of the trees. So always make sure you have a solid link in the area you plan to fly...
I can’t believe it Matt. I literally just asked you under your last video if you could make a video about camera angle, settings etc and boom, out already! Super impressed with your work and dedication ❤😊
haha, good timing or what? Hope this video has helped and really appreciate your support.

Lol worried about scratching it. Yeah I was. About 1/2 way into my first manual flight. Now I'm seeing how much this thing can take, and it has not let me down!
You are right, it really can take a beating! Mine definitely has a few scratches at this stage, but it makes it look more rugged ha!
This is great, just got mine yesterday and this compilation of tips is a must for everyone

Love the tip about the gimbol angle, I had changed mine trying ti look down and it changed how I was flying.
It makes a big difference. At the start I couldn't work out why the drone was always flying so fast, changing the gimbal angle was a game changer for me.

Excellent... Thanks for the efforts.
great tips, from your experience how many meters to loss signal if flying low with trees, building, obstacle
I sure do appreciate all the effort you put into making these vids. This will be very helpful to me in my Avata purchase decision.
*_EXCELLENT VIDEO!!! THANK YOU MAN!!!!_*
Thanks for the tips :) one question, how do you record the google screen with the OSD? when I use the DJI app to mirror the screen on cellphone, the OSD does not appear either
I put a memory card in the goggles and it recorded there automatically, as long as "both" is set in settings (both goggles and drone)
you need the goggles 2. The V2 goggles do not support osd recording
Do a video on payload / how much weight it can carry please
Loved your video. Very good tips, I will be using them all. I also went ahead and got a strap for the battery and a strap holder for an apple air tag just to be safe.
Thank you, happy to hear they helped! The strap is a great buy!

Tips for really epic, cinematic shots:
#1. Live in Northern Ireland 😂
I love this drone there only problems I’m having it with the DJI goggles I can’t seem to get them while right, I wear glasses just can’t get the focus the way I like it
Might be worthwhile getting your prescription in the covers that go over the eyepieces, I know a few people who have done that.
@@TheDroneCreative thanks I give that a try

Left a comment mid video but I highly recommend watching until the very end! So many things I didn't know
Happy to hear you enjoyed the video enough to watch to the end, appreciate that!

Good list! However, reducing stick-sensitivity is a big-huge tip for flying Manual / Acro-mode.

How do you get rid of the overlay on the recording? Such as where it has the battery percentage and what mode you’re in
Nice 😊👍🏼
Thanks 😁
Hi Matt, great video and tips, thanks dude. Any advice on how to record ''top down'' on DJI AVATA, please mate?
The biggest downside with RTH on the DJI fpv and avata series is if you get failsafe say while flying under/between trees for example the drone will stop and fly up and so crashing into the tops of the trees. So always make sure you have a solid link in the area you plan to fly...
Your work is amazing. I’d like to use the drone for restaurants warehouses gyms etc. would you recommend this ?
