Sounds like she's just mad she wasn't smart enough to gather that you could pre-order your drink on their app. Which, if you even stepped near the building of most places, they have it plastered literally all over the place to 'skip the line, order ahead of time!'.
I had a karen "lightly tap" me with her car when I ordered online at a pizza place. I walked in and back out and as I was getting ready to cross in front of her car that was in the drive thru she blew her horn so I waited thinking she was leaving. She screamed at me that I needed to wait like everyone else, I told her I ordered online so no wait. She screamed at the top of her lungs "That's not fair!" I wanted to get home and was tired of listening to her so I started across, she threw her car into gear and hit me with her car bad enough she messed up my leg. When the police came she said she just lightly tapped me and I was just being melodramatic. They called an ambulance and she wad arrested with assault with a dangerous weapon. She said they had no right to arrest her for a little light tap. Everyone around was screaming at her that she hit an old woman with an f-ing car, she said I couldn't possibly be over 25. Wait in the main line like everyone else!”. I told her to F* off, and when she tried to stop me from leaving with the order I stomped on her foot to make me let go of me, and then ran off with the order. I delivered the food, but for a while I stopped taking any orders at that restaurant for a while (I didn’t get that many from there anyway).
Well you stood on her foot so that will teach her a lesson, that she can’t just go up and grab someone rather violently without getting a backlash. I hope you left her a bruise which made it difficult for her to walk on for a couple of weeks.

Considering Starbucks is bottom of the barrel in terms of coffee in Australia. You'd enjoy better coffee for a cheaper price at a stand-alone café or in Melbourne.
Starbucks: I most likely wouldn’t have been having a conversation as that woman would most likely have received an elbow to her face. I spent years as a high security guard with orders that make SWAT members nervous. Tapping me on the shoulder is one thing grabbing me is another matter. Our orders were, “There is no such thing as a hostage. There is a shield that you will shoot through.” Grabbing me triggers that button.
So I'm guessing she's supposed to just stand there for about 10 or 15 minutes while her coffee gets cold just to satisfy this entitled Karen I don't think so
Simple solution if u want to do that in single rider line, have one parent ride first, then wait at exit as other parent sends kids thru. Might work with older kids (teens) if u think they can handle themselves. Dont recommend for younger kids. But if u think thats bad, u wont believe how many times people have tried to sneak on rides claiming they are with me (disability acess. In wheelchair). What they usually dont know is, most parks list the number of people in the group when u get the acess pass. They always stop them.
This is better than a Karen I had to deal with at work a few weeks ago; I'm a cashier at Publix (grocery store chain on the east coast of United States) and I had paid for a chicken tender sub from the deli online, so when I had a customer try to pay for a sub and it wouldn't scan I looked for the barcode and realized it said it was paid online, so I pointed it out to the customer and as I do so I notice the name looked suspiciously close to mine and take a closer look as the customer says they forgot it was already paid for and wanted a bag for it anyways, and when I see that it is my name and ask the customer if they just took the first "paid online" sub that they saw and thought no one would notice they asked, "How and why would you possibly accuse me of that?" My response was this, "I'm 100% certain your name isn't Justin Van Trump and as a result I know this isn't yours," I loved the reaction of asking how I know that isn't their name or the name of someone in their family and my response to that was that, "One you're a woman so it can't be your name and secondly that is my name and the only people I've ever met or even heard of with the same last name as me are members of my family so can you go and get your sub or get one made and put mine back where you got it so I have something to eat while I'm on my dinner break?" They tried to complain to my manager and get me fired (spoiler, I got a raise instead)
All I can think about in the coffee karen story is that one crazy lady from Regular Show that hates line cutters. When infact, Modercai and Rigby just went into the pick up line
I didn’t even know you could preorder Starbucks . So don’t know what the rules are on waiting for collection as to wether you can just go to the counter the second you walk in or weather you still have to queue.
Really? lol that would be like telling a door dash employee "you have to wait in line like everyone else to pick up your delivery order that's just sitting there getting cold/warm" lol of course they can just walk in and grab it as per the employees' reaction.😁👍
In response to the last story, I can think of two good reasons why she would be acting that way. Either one, she has severe OCD and can't stand things being out of place because everything needs to be orderly in her head in order for her to relax. Which I can understand. It's an impulse that you can't really control very well. Or two She's had to clean up after people so often that every single time she thinks of doing it, it makes her so stressed out that she can't relax until everything is completely cleaned. Which I also can understand. It's the equivalent of living with someone who says they are going clean but never actually does so, so the stress of each time of having to do it herself just makes the feeling worse. She most likely feels disrespected because she feels she's being ignored. I am not saying that her children and husband are the cause of this but perhaps the family she grew up with was like that so she just is having a hard separating the two. Which like I said is understandable. I feel like the narrator is too judgemental for their own good sometimes. They tend to use the "no good excuse" line pretty often which in my opinion is rather shallow to be said. Regardless though, I hope the poster and their mom were able to work out their problems.
Most places that I have visited that accept mobile orders. Have a separate line or some sort of signage that let's people know where mobile order patrons can pick up their order.
That first story was like that one time in Regular Show where a Karen got apocalyptically angry at Mordecai and Rigby for picking up an order at a bakery, when it turned out she was the only one that hadn't ordered ahead out of the entire line.
I was roommates for a short time with a narcissistic clean freak. She told me the day I got my keys, I wasn’t allowed to clean any room but my own. She was convinced I’d do it wrong or something. One of the strangest two and a half months of my life.
My mother in law is like this. My wife is finally very pssed off with her now because of this type of thing. I knew how she is from the time i know my mother in law so used to it. It doesn't grate me.
Story one: This reminds me of that one episode on Regular Show where this one lady got mad at Mordecai and Rigby, thinking they cut in line when they ordered online to get the cake.
I've worked at Subway for around four years now and, tot his day, I've yet to encounter someone with that level of entitlement. I have had the occasional guest who try and scam the staff or try and cause an argument over trivial things though, but I don't think those qualify for the topic. Maybe I'm just lucky.
*Story 1:* If I were the barista in this story (god forbid), I would've told this insane *"karen"* *"I don't care who you are, this sort of behaviour is unforgivable. Either apologise to this person and allow her to take her drink, or we're going to call security and have you removed by force from the premises. It's your choice, but I'm warning you, don't fuck with us!"*
If i was the OP in story 1 the barista would not be able to talk to the Karen at all, because after slapping my hand, the Karen went for a nap on the floor.... but this is why Karen's target quiet looking souls, and avoid confronting the strong looking types.... because as much as a Karen seems to have no brains regarding what they do, when it comes to whom they do it too, they are quite instinctively smart. And this is why i have never had a Karen encounter in my life and probably never will, because they somehow instinctively know i am not someone to be messed with... unless i took a job in the service industry, then all bets are off, naturally.
"...I was diagnosed with high level ADHD when I was 19..." I'm betting you never ONCE considered the possibility of your mother suffering from the same thing. That would "explain a lot of difficulties" with HER, as well.
Hey OP in story 1, pick up your drink and leave. Stop interacting with the Karen or feeling you need to prove your order with an email to a customer. Will never get why all the OP's keep trying logic in the face of entitlement/stupidity/Karenness which just keeps the interaction going. Just remove yourself from the situation.
The way it sounded, the Karen was holding OP's arm and not letting her move. When she tried to move past her and grab the drink she actually slapped her hand. It wasn't about proving a point, it was about being physically able to grab the drink at all. I suspect that, had the barista not interjected, Karen's next move would have been to spill the drink onto OP to prevent her from having it.
@yasmin7903 She's a Karen, not the Terminator.Still, it doesn't sound like the OP is very assertive, so she can be easily overpowered by someone else's will. I just know this interaction would have not lasted more than 1 sentence or 5 seconds with me. Hahah
That last story oh my god man if youre reading this. I absolutely feel your pain its so infuriating and my mother is the EXACT same way. You are a genius doing it that way and i honestly might do it myself because that is the funniest thing to do. What makes it better is my mother locks her door so if im doing laundry and she doesnt take her laundry out im just going to leave it on the floor infront of her door where she sprinkles scented baking soda all over to the point where the carpet leaves your feet feeling like you were on a beach.
17:07 the mother one though. She’s not wrong (the mom). The longer water sits, the more it molds & creates bacteria. Blow drying hair, moisturize face, body then getting dress. That can easily be 30-60 min. It takes 5-10 min to clean up after yourself after your done in the shower. It doesn’t take long at all. Like I back the mom 100% here. If she doesn’t do it, then it’s not gonna get done or get done in a timely manner.
That coffee story reminds me of the Regular Show episode where Mordecai and Rigby go to a cake shop and they get their cake fast cause they have a reciept since it was ordered and this Karen character got insanely mad at them for cutting the line and went on a huge rant.
10:13 as someone from Australia I can confirm she is from Sydney because if she where in Brisbane let alone Logan city or Alexandra hills she would be gone because it’s like o block down here
That’s why I said what I did in my comment, as one blind human to another, or me moving my things is a bad idea, especially if you don’t tell me where you have moved them to. Although that is a particular telltale that his mother is, at least toxic, you mirror their behavior back to them and they can’t see that they’re doing anything wrong. Something in their psyche is broken.
I bring my clothes into the bathroom and leave with all my shower products after taking a shower. Why leave the bathroom, say it's free, then come back to tidy up later?
I went too Disney a couple of month ago and I get being a Disney adult. The parks are huge and you’ll most likely not be able too get on any of the rides that you want too be on so you go back there multiple times
basically, this karen actually wants everyone to wait until _she_ has her drink, and evem that those ordered there's online should wait as well, so yeah this karen is the pure definition of entitlement, also op should've have their order as curb side pick up, just to avoid that karen.
Not all Starbucks are on the street side. Some I've seen are in shopping centres. It doesn't change the fact that Starbucks is a nigh-incompatible franchise with how Australians enjoy their coffee.
@@JamesDavy2009 well op didn't specify where in Australia this happened, so it's no telling if in a mall or something, yet op did say he walked in through a door, so it might indicate that it's in some small town, like mine here in America.
@@Charles-7 Last I looked, the only small town in Australia with a Starbucks is in Warrawong. All other Starbucks are in cities like Toowoomba and in and around the three biggest capital cities. There are far fewer Starbucks locations in Australia than in the U.S. because Australians enjoy better coffee than what Starbucks produces and prefer to drink their coffee on-site. There's also heavy competition with other franchise cafés like Coffee Club and Jamaica Blue.

If they want to be fancy-shmancy at least do Italian numbers for the other two sizes. Instead their two smallest sizes both mean Large

Really? lol that would be like telling a door dash employee "you have to wait in line like everyone else to pick up your delivery order that's just sitting there getting cold/warm" lol of course they can just walk in and grab it as per the employees' reaction.😁👍
The beginning of it, THAT'S ASSAULT AND BATTERY
Dude the 1st story op is definitely a poet her grammar is insane
In response to the last story,
I can think of two good reasons why she would be acting that way.
Either one, she has severe OCD and can't stand things being out of place because everything needs to be orderly in her head in order for her to relax. Which I can understand. It's an impulse that you can't really control very well.
Or two
She's had to clean up after people so often that every single time she thinks of doing it, it makes her so stressed out that she can't relax until everything is completely cleaned.
Regardless though, I hope the poster and their mom were able to work out their problems.
it sounds like ocd, my mum was like this
Most places that I have visited that accept mobile orders.
Ultimately she crashed her car because of the classic entitled jerk stereotype of being unable to read
As a Australian I have not seen a Starbucks in my life
I was roommates for a short time with a narcissistic clean freak.
As for the Disney ride story, if the seven-year-old girl ended up kidnapped, everybody would be on a different side
Story 3 ..sounds like a tyipical mom that uses Vicks on your eye's to put you to sleep ..but karen mom is over acting😂😂😂
And this is why i have never had a Karen encounter in my life and probably never will, because they somehow instinctively know i am not someone to be messed with... unless i took a job in the service industry, then all bets are off, naturally.
whats the game in the background?
Dude you beat me to it by a year
Karens are pure insane, and no one can tell me otherwise.
I swear on everything my mom is EXACTLY like that one from story 3
"...I was diagnosed with high level ADHD when I was 19..."
I'm betting you never ONCE considered the possibility of your mother suffering from the same thing. That would "explain a lot of difficulties" with HER, as well.
sounds more like the sort of ocd my mum had
For the first story: as the witches from Macbeth said, "fair is foul and foul is fair"
As Hamlet's mother Gertrude said, "The lady doth protest too much, methinks."
Story 1: *arrested and banned from the local Starbucks lmao*
Story one: that employee should get a raise
I think the Karen was upset because, the way she saw it, someone was getting their way and she wasn’t
Hahah
Bro the description of the Karen sounds like a dark souls description type shit 💀🗿🍷
Coffee lady, yeah. I would have retaliated.
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS GOOD JOB PLEASE MAKE MORE I LUV THEM!!! i also have a question, what screen recorder do you use?
The first story is like a regular show episode where Mordecai and Rigby get a ticket thats already paid so they skipped the line for the premium line
First story reminds me of that episode of Regular Show where the person freaks out on Mordecai for being in a line with a prepaid receipt
The poster of The starbucks story should write a novel about it!
There are lines for pre-order at many places.
This karen should try it...
Who are those people
No way should little kids be put on a ride alone. They should have been turned away.
Honestly, if I'd be a clerk and see a Karen like in Story 1, you can bet I let her wait for more than an hour
That coffee story reminds me of the Regular Show episode where Mordecai and Rigby go to a cake shop and they get their cake fast cause they have a reciept since it was ordered and this Karen character got insanely mad at them for cutting the line and went on a huge rant.
Bro you not the only one who thought of that😂
Im sure when security led the karen out, she cried out "dont you dare touch me i have a boyfriend "
“And he’s a lawyer!”
That would be her next phrase.
Yo that first story is definitely a Regular Show episode only swich the Starbucks with cake
listening to this with headphones and playing games on my phone is such a vibe
Story 1 - I'll never understand why these people get away with putting hands on someone without getting their teeth kicked in.
Isn't it the purpose of an ordering app is to allow a person to order and pay for something if said person doesn't have the time to do it in person
The “gayborhood” karen in the thumbnail tho 😂😂😂
10:13 as someone from Australia I can confirm she is from Sydney because if she where in Brisbane let alone Logan city or Alexandra hills she would be gone because it’s like o block down here
I think people don’t understand that fair doesn’t mean equality just because something is fair doesn’t exactly mean it’s equal
As an Australian don’t worry there’s a Starbucks in my hospital so after an appointment I get some
Oh man this sounds like my mom now instead of having mental problems try being blind
"caffinated milkshakes"
something this true has never been said before.
but it is delicious asf
That mom most likely has bpd 19:19
A well placed back hand would solve everything.
Stories: ❌
Gameplay: ✅
Imagine throwing a fit over a cup of solid sugar. There's barely any coffee in that garbage.
@@JamesDavy2009 i see.
Damn son, this is definitely pumpkin spice behavior.
My only pet peeve with the single rider is being to close to random people, I mean me and my friend have convinced them we are seperate groups to sit together but still.
From when did Starbucks strated writing names correctly
I’ll never understand why StarBucks can’t just do Small, Medium, Large. Grande means Large, Tall also means Large, Venti is 20, and Trenta is 30 which is literally one single ounce away from the actually measurement.
If they want to be fancy-shmancy at least do Italian numbers for the other two sizes. Instead their two smallest sizes both mean Large
Story 1. If any needed that therapy session it is the Karen.
The first story sounds like the Regular Show scene
Just based on the title, learn how to punch a b*tch out. If someone puts their hands on you your life is at risk...
What game????
Karen at Starbuck's 💀💀💀
