THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.
THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE is directed by Francis Lawrence, from a screenplay by Simon Beaufoy and Michael DeBruyn, based upon the novel "Catching Fire" by Suzanne Collins and produced by Nina Jacobson and Jon Kilik. The novel is the second in a trilogy that has over 50 million copies in print in the U.S. alone. THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE opens on November 22, 2013. Lionsgate presents a Color Force/Lionsgate production.

I STILL REMEMBER WHEN I WATCH THIS FIRST TIME. I WAS LIKE "OH MY GOD HOLY SHIT THIS MOVIE IS GOING TO BE A-MA-ZING!" AND IT WAS. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT WAS 3 YEARS AGO. I FELT SO OLD. THAT MOVIE, THAT BOOK WAS MY EVERYTHING.

i rember watching each hunger games movie for the first time like it was yesterday genuinely the best film series ever made and it’s crazy that it all went down 5+ years ago. i hope suzanne come out with another book and some how finds a way for katniss to get back in the games bc the movie always hit differnt when she was in the arena and i hope if a book like that ever comes out that they make another movie

I love how in these trailers they never show anything from the arena, except for the cannon blast that starts the Games. That way the arena part of the movie will be a complete surprise to all of us. I hope they keep it this way with tomorrow's trailer.

For some reason the hunger games reminds me of the history of Ireland vs Britain.Ireland had a revolution but lost then fought for independence and got it in 1922.They even had two bloody Sundays.So hunger games seems very similar like the Capitol is Britain and Ireland is the districts
Happened with India as well. Britain exploited all of India's resources. And were harsh towards the people. Like, the books.

J.Lawrence is simply awesome !! Just watch the movie and see her expression, incredible actress
This came out last summer, and I freaked out and went crazy. But watching it now, my heart still skips a beat, and I get excited even though I watched it already way too many times. I just want to have it on DVD now to watch over and over again. I want Mockingjay Part 1, but I just can't afford to think like that. I won't be prepared, nor will I ever be, ugh it's so complicated.
