also another thing in catching fire it tells you how haymitch won his games. he one the second quarter quell. definitely an interesting part to read in the book :)

Imagine if you are a parent in one of the districts, you know that if your child is chosen, then instead of them going to fairly certain death, that someone will volunteer who has trained and has at least a chance of winning.

She refused to have children because she didn't want to see them suffer like she did under the rule of the Capitol and the threat of the games. Changing her mind means she finally feels safe and optimistic about the future. It's the completion of her arc.

And before he died when shhe first went to school Peeta first fell in love with her when she sang and all the birds stopped their singing and listened. I feel like it would be much better if the echo of birds was offset from her singing.
At the end where katniss shots coin. Snow chokes on his blood and dies. So when the districts say kill him at the end you see his head tilted that's because he's dead the districts kill him

I think Suzanne Collins was prescient. What District 12 and most of the other Districts were going through was similar to the Gaza concentration camp. The scene of District 8 being bombed and in flames,and District 12 after Katniss visits it in the beginning of Catching Fire - I keep thinking of what happened/is happening in Gaza.
The first time i watched 'Catching fire' i didn't realize it, but watching it again it is obvious that Cinna knew that that dress would be his end
