    I am extremely jealous. I had the pleasure of flying my buddy's Cirrus SR22T about 2 years ago. I should have bought one then and was bitterly disappointed and down right distraught when Horizon Hobbies stopped selling this plane. The HH video of this plane I must have watched at least a 100 times. One of their best with the background music. My own fault should have bought it right there and then, I hope Horizon Hobby and Eflite release an updated one again. Very nice video and excellent unboxing

      Thank you! The SR22T is a beautiful plane both in the air and in the hangar and E-flite did a great job capturing that. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this plane makes a come back with hopefully some cool updates.
      Happy Flying!

    I love the design and color scheme of this plane! Love flying it on Real Flight 9.5 as well.
    I hope Horizon Hobby brings it back one day, when I become a better pilot.

      They are currently updating all their planes to smart technology, I hope this is included in that.

    What lipo did you use for the flight? Given the speed and sound, I'm guessing 4s?

    • @dronepatrone
      @dronepatrone  3 года назад

      I used a Turnigy Heavy Duty 2200mah 3S, it's one of my favorite batteries. The Cirrus SR22T has a very versatile airfoil, with little effort it easily flies slow or fast. Also, some of that sound can be attributed to the tires freewheeling in the air which adds to the effect.
      Happy Flying!

    I have had nothing but problems with mine. The front nose gear get's bent know every time I land. I do love the way this plane looks but, it just pisses me off that I have to screw with that everytime. It also stripped out the rudder/ steering servo. Any suggestions?

    • @tomgutmann1609

      I have the same problem! I wish they had a better mechanism for the nose gear :(

      Sorry to hear of the issues you're having. I haven't had that issue so far but, I land in short grass or paved runways. Do you land in tall grass or rocky ground by any chance? You could try adding a square notch on the nose wheel push rod about 2" back from the nose wheel horn. Something like this.... brodak.com/pub/media/catalog/product/cache/1ca9ef3ebdbe85f478710cbd71949bb8/sullivan_502.jpg
      Or you could reduce the length of the push rod guide tube further away from the nose wheel to allow it to flex more as well and act like a servo saver. I would try an inch at a time till it flexes under extreme pressure but, still steers with good authority. Let me know if that helps.
      Happy Flying!

      I have found a solution for me. You have to remove your nose gear and the notch in which the screw sits must be enlarged upwards. I did this with a file and the screw no longer loosens. In addition, I put a piece of absorbent cotton in front of the plastic housing from below, so that the plastic housing now sits firmly and no longer wobbles back and forth in the Styrofoam.

      @@dronepatrone The thing is that I had a hard landing because of wind gusts a few days ago. And the front gear is simply not made for hard or many landings😂
