Cirrus does not have Fowler flaps. Fowler flaps extend tailward and expand the chord of the wing as well as fold down. I have the V1 Blue and V2 red of this model. Nice review and comparison.
I was also torn between the two, so I bought both. I love the vertical that you get with the 4S on the Cherokee, and how elegant the Cirrus is in the air. Thanks for sharing. Great video.
I run 3300mah 4s batteries in both those planes in total stock form and fly them hard never ever had an over heat issue or ESC or Motor Failure! They are my Favorite eflite planes hands down.
On the SR22 CirrusI Cant Believe your able to place the 3s battery that far back..That would make mine extremely Tail Heavy....Plus 3 s was boring me to Death so i stepped up to 4s and my 3300mah 4s Battery is about 5 inches Further Forward than Your Battery...
Cherokee drivers make the worst cameramen lol - I have both of these and I honestly can not tell you which I prefer, some days it's the Piper other days the beauty of the Cirrus wins me over - I literally threw the AS3X in the bin first thing when I pulled these out the box, as I always do. These GA machines do not need it, I don't think any type that isn't teaching a complete newbie needs it. Great review thank you
Norris Mosier Jr you could yes. One of the real pleasures of this plane though is real slow flap down dusk flying. If your debating it, get it. Later down the road if you upgrade the radio your all set.

I have not. The Cirrus though has had a few minor incidents. The worst was I was flying it in the dark really slow with full flaps and stalled it turning in front of me. I was only a foot of the ground. The only damage that was done was the nose wheel was bent over so hard it actually broken the steering gear servo. Go figure.
@@aragorn318 the Cirrus. It’s more scale to me. The Cherokee is a good bit faster, aerobatic and has slightly brighter lights. Both are awesome planes. A lot of people own both
Wow Your Battery must weigh nothing at all cause thats about 3 inches further back than where i put my 2200 4s batteries! and mine flies flawlessly balanced.

Do you have a video on setting up the lights onto a switch?

Thanks for watching. I am partial to the Cirrus. I love dusk flying it. Just my taste. Both would be very cool
Great video my friend. Big salute from Slovenia, Pilot Robert
Thank you. Means a lot coming from a guy like you.
One of these will be my next purchase. Currently flying a turbo timber. Im leaning towards the cherokee but i love the cirrus’ looks.
better buy a cirrus !
I will never change the cirrus for a Cherokee never ! ✈
Not Torn i have both and Love both of them...
Thank you for this comparison!! It deserves a sub 🤙also i think the cherokee has a front wheel suspension and the cirrus doesn't
Thanks for watching 😝😜🤪
Great video brother!!! I love the comparison videos. But I still want both 😳. They are perfect scale to my TL2000 & Falcon👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻
Both these damn planes are gorgeous. You didn’t make this any easier 😂
lol. U can’t go wrong with

Sweet. I will give it a shot
@@JustPlaneCrazy warning you though it will ruin you to go back to 3s on them..
Lol. This is my favorite 5am flying plane. full flaps slow speed lights on flying right at dawn.
@@looneytunes47 yeah but I love the power on 4s. She snaps really nice.
I'm learning on the Apprentice STS right now and this seems like it would be a cool upgrade once my skills get better.
Oh for sure. I still fly this thing all time. Great plane. Thanks for watching😝😜🤪

Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. I do love em.
Get a tripod for your camera, I got wheezy with all the jumping around, shut off the video shortly after the Cherokee take off.
How do ya choose just one? I love em both!!!!!!
I do as well. Great choices we have
Nice review. I wish you would have shown both planes flying inverted.
Bob Czz thanks Bob. I will keep that in mind for future vids. Good point
How they slow down without flaps?
Norris Mosier Jr to a very landable speed. They can handle slow flight well with no flaps
@@JustPlaneCrazy So not using flaps I could use the DXe transmitter that I fly the Parkzone Sport Cub with?

How did you handle the light thing?

But now there’s a new cirrus out and I’m really torn. The new one is bright red and 4s capable just like the Cherokee so… Great video though!
Yup. This vid is a bit old but the new cirrus color and options is outstanding. I would take the cirrus. All day long
How did u put lights on a switch? (Great video by the way)
It's magic, isn't it?

For the lights
just a small critique if you dont mind. your intro is so stinking long.. 5 seconds would be plenty imho. love the channel!!!!
Thanks. I did actually change it in my last videos because I felt the same way. Thanks for the input an watching
Have you crashed/damaged your Cherokee yet?
I have not. The Cirrus though has had a few minor incidents. The worst was I was flying it in the dark really slow with full flaps and stalled it turning in front of me. A lot of flights on it for sure at that spot. For sure they are all very different. Thanks for watching
@@JustPlaneCrazy Yeah its crazy how much difference batteries can weigh especially the Graphines
What are these, airplanes for ants? o.o
I have both. Problem solved. Lol
So what is your verdict? If u had to keep just one?
I would do the cirrus just because it flys closer to scale and doesn’t use a bigger pack. Wish the lights were a tad brighter.
@@webrambler88 I would say the cherokee cuz it's 4s capable
